My call was answered promptly and issues were dealt with quickly even though I have to wait on permissions from the site manager!
I phoned customer service and recieved excellent help, really the person could not have been any nicer! Then I was obliged to write an email to a different department and they responded almost immediately, just really pleasant and understanding. We exchanged several emails until my problem was resolved the very same day. I am extremely pleased with their service.

My husband and I both received emails indicating our DNA results were ready to view. After many attempts, we continued to receive the message that there were problems with the webpage and it was being reloaded; however it never did reload. I called customer service several times, to no avail--continued to receive recorded messages that were totally unhelpful. Finally on Saturday, I was able to speak to a "real person"-- Patrick from Ireland. He was extremely knowledgeable and courteous and walked me through the process. He even called me back when our line was disconnected, which told me he was there to help. We were finally able to get our results, thanks to Patrick.
My experience was very pleasant. The Representative that helped me was very helpful, kind, pleasant and actually I wish I remembered his name because there arent enough kind words to express how he handled my situation. Thank you
I had to call Heritage about an error in my billing. I was put in contact with a lovely young lady in County Cork, Ireland. Might add that this is where my Family history starts. She resolved the issue quit readily and all is good again. Even exchanged a little Irish knowledge while we were doing business. Excellent experience.

My overall comment is that it was far too difficult to achieve an answer to my several requests for a call from support. Once the call did come it was a pleasant experience and MajaI was a terrific educator in walking me through the steps i need help with. After our phone call I am able to do so much more with the transactions I was struggling with
I manage my husband's tree as he won't go on line. I was afraid that the Heritage people would only deal with him but aftrr a few questions to verify who I was everything was fine. A lady called Alon was very helpful and patient as I am slow at typing and not too computer literate. I had ordered charts and when I tried to view them they gave an error message. She went through how to generate the charts. They showed up ok on her computer but gave error messages on mine. She advised removing Adobe and reinstating it. She also helped me to insert my Father onto the tree. The problem arose becaus his name was George William but he had a brother Gearge (Who died at a few months old) and a brother William. I wouldn't hesitate to ring them again. JH.

I called yesterday, to see if I activated the wrong kit number, that I bought for my mother, whose in another state. Anyway, when Joy got on the line, she helped ease my mind, when I asked about the wait, just to get to the lab. My mother mailed it on the 29th of January and it doesn't show that the lab received it, yet. Well, she said, they probably haven't gotten to it, to scan it in, because of how many they receive and that I did type in the correct number. So, thank you, Joy. I passed that information on to my Mom, whose now in rehab for walking pneumonia.
Unfortunately I made a decision to spend almost $500. For kits for my family for Christmas. They were thrilled when they opened them and couldn't wait to use them. All the kits (except 2) were sent in within 2 weeks. Two of my family received them in an appropriate timeslot. My niece received hers on her little iphone. When she opened it some music started playing and one country appeared and then nothing! Done! I found out that inadvertently my husband and cousin's samples had gotten switched and immediately called to correct it (half hour wait on phone). Weeks go by and nothing. Another hour long wait call. They're working on it. Another long wait but call from another rep. It's being processed. Another 2 weeks nothing but I saw that my cousin now owns my family tree and everything else I have on computer. It's now middle of Feb. And I get a call from Rep. In Israel... Did I have any problems? Are you kidding me? Guaranteed problem will be fixed. The Christmas from hell!

I had many questions about navigating the site. I have called twice and both times received outstanding customer service. The best of all the genealogy sites.
I have been with My Heritage for a number of years but to be quite honest I found myself in a pickle, I phoned for support which was, quick efficient and sorted me out in no time at all, very impressed.
When we entered set up with our email address we had a typo didnt catch and when we tried to get results unable! Called and with minutes he found mistake helped me correct the email address. Stayed on to make sure I got results and even answered my question! Thank you

Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.

I'm sorry to read your low star review but I do sympathize with your wait time.
DNA testing is a lengthy operation and unfortunately, there has been a slight delay in receiving kits that were sent to our lab in January within the 2-week time frame because of the traffic during the previous holiday season. It seems there were many people that sent in their kits at the same time after the holidays. Each kit that is sent to us is processed carefully to ensure our DNA community gets the most accurate results.
There have been cases where some kits are easier to process than others and results will come sooner for some and later for others. That said, I would like to take over the issue in question and ensure that you are not "over $150" and this issue is fixed as soon as possible with very high priority.
