Sent two DNA samples at the end of January 24,2018 for wife and myself. Wife just received notice that her DNA was being evaluated, but not mine. Checked the USPS tracker and found my DNA didn't arrive until Feb., 11,2018. My wife's arrived on Jan 31,2018. Megan at MYHeritage explained that my sample has not been released by the shipping department, but will very soon. I look forward for confirmation of this.
My late husbands family are ALL from Italy. Some from the middle, Umbria and some from Naples. My Granddaughter and I did the MyHeritage. I myself a bit excited to see where 'my life' tracks have been leading to now. I'm adopted. I, as was my Granddaughter were excited to see her results and to see the Italian %. When 'I' saw NO Italian %'s anywhere, I was confused. I called and talked to JackO and he was a HUGE help in explaining it all to me. Needless to say, as I also explained to my Granddaughter, she was still thrilled to see the diversity in hers. Her results went back 7 ethnicities, where mine only goes back 5 ethnicities, so far. BUT, he is a real gem and was very polite, didn't make me feel rushed and fully explained away all my questions and concerns.
Quick response from My Heritage help, second in queue so didn't use call back option.

Maya helped me I had a problem getting a report to print in the right order. The other day I followed advice but it didn't solve it. This time Maya was great she worked on it and had the solution pretty quickly. All sorted now.

Telephone customer service was great. No complaints.
Afterwards, we ordered two kits online each costing $12. Shipping, total of $24 to send both kits to us. They arrived in one envelope weighing less than 1 kilo. Therefore they paid less than $5 to ship to us and we have to pay return postage with the vials. For the exorbitant charge of $24, My Heritage should include return shipping which is basically in an envelope costing about $1.13 postage. We assume their small flat box, vials, swabs, instructions costs are included in the purchase price. $5-6 shipping charge including return is enough for each DNA test.

Met veel gedoeld en kennes heeft zij mij geloods over de site om mij laten zien hoe het site werkt, geen vraag was te veel voor haar en ik was tevreden.
Ik vindt allen dat de zoek maschine van MyHeritage, te veel resultaten geeft die niet relevant zijn voor mijn zoek opdracht, ook wanneer ik precise gegevens in tik, ik krijg soms tousende resultaten en pas naar veel zoeken vindt ik (of niet) wat ik heb gezocht en dat is heel vervelend.
I had a question concerning my parents' DNA results. The company explained to me that sometimes aol does not accept myheritage emails. However, Pauline from Ireland could not have been friendlier or more helpful. She was able to switch over the email addresses easily. I would definitely rate their customer service excellent!
I am hard of hearing so I missed your representatives name. However I started as number 11 and waited for my turn. I appreciate know where I was in line and also how I was advancing in line. Had it not been for that I would have hung up. Once I was answered by your rep I found her to be most pleasent and helpful. She straighten my situation out and advised me what and when to expect my results

Just a short wait and I was connected with Lisa who was most empathetic. Patiently she worked through my problem and repeated steps when needed. She never left me until she was convinced that my question had been answered to my satisfaction.
I had some questions and was put in touch with Maor in customer support. He is an an amazing representative--very polite, knowledgeable, and possessing a fine grasp on how DNA, world history, and family history are best served when allowed a forum to work together to reasonably explain the origins of all of us.
Had made a stupid blunder when entering details when my husband's name came up automatically on my pc. Realised that had to be corrected but wasn't sure how. JackO helped me through the process, so very grateful to be back on track and looking forward to my results.
After a few months I had not received my results so I called. Oh jeeez. All my fault. I had put the wrong e-mail on my account! They had been e-mailing me (17 times!) that they needed more info to complete my results. The representative was patient and nice about my mistake. We laughed and I apologized. All straightened out. Sigh
I sent my sample kit through the US Postal Service. The tracking number showed that the delivery was "Delayed" after three days in the system then there was no further activity for the next two weeks. When I went to the USPS website I needed the "To" address to fill out the contact us page. It isn't listed in the kit instructions so I emailed My Heritage asking for it. Meanwhile I submitted my inquiry using "unknown" as the address (leaving it blank gives an error message).
My sample was delivered the next day before My Heritage responded and I received emails from My Heritage informing me of it's delivery as well as another a couple of days later responding to my inquiry. There has been no response from the Post Office. My Heritage has much better customer service than the Post Office!
My Heritage DNA customer rep took the time to answer my requests and helped me to process information and make changes to my account easily. I received excellent customer service from Aoife.
I made a mistake in my posting of one DNA package but the problem was sorted. Very interested to see the results.
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

Answer: Dear Jonathan, Yes I have the same problem, I wrote to My Heritage and they have still not responded to my request for assistance. They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Fortunately I have another Computer with Windows 8 as a result of which I am able to continue working with my Website. But recently a few problems have cropped up with the recent upgrade of the My Heritage Program and have sent in a request for assistance and till today 3-5 months later I have no response. Apparently the company believes that they can play games with the customers. I firmly believe that they have somehow gone into self destructive mode.

Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
