If you have European/Jewish ancestry, MyHeritage would be the best choice. MyHeritage's customer service department is professional and willing to assist me.
When I wanted to change the shipping address, Customer service department did not reply me quickly. Consequently, the 2 kits had been shipped. They offered me 2 new kits to ship to my correct shipping address.
When in my country there are strict regulations on shipping DNA kits to foreign countries, Myheritage asked if they could refund the service fee to me. Actually, we went to France for business or asked someone travelling to USA to send our kits directly to Myheritage.
My grandmother had European appreance with pink skin, big brown eyes, brown hair but refused to share us information about her roots. The way she taught me was in Jewish style. We were so curious that we used Myheritage to discover our European, Jewish roots. I have 2.3% Iberian. My sister has 1.3% Finnish and 0.8% Jewish.
The customer service, in particular Maor from the DNA customer service was very kind and provided me patiently with all the information and tools I needed answering duly every one of my questions in the many mail I sent them. Thank you very much,I sincerely recommend the customer service of this company!
Due to an error in the online payment system, I got charged twice for the same order. I messaged the customer service and I was really surprised (in a good sense) but the speed in which they replied and fixed the problem. Recently while working on integrating my new DNA test on the site with an older genealogical effort on Ancestry I created two trees and needed help coordinating the different trees and two e mail accounts. The My Heritage team and JoseM did an outstanding job on this complex effort. I can move forward now confident that the data will seamlessly match up.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Horrible customer service, the agents lie, mislead and never resolve your issue. Thumbs way down! Huge regret! They are also thrives.

I had MyHeritage a few years back. Then I went to Ancestry. I still have ancestry and love it. But decided to add MyHeritage. Maybe find information not on Ancestry. MyHeritage is a scam. Nothing is included in membership. They charge extra for everything. The only thing included is the tree you download yourself. I tried to cancel immediately. But was refused. I have not been back since I signed up. Do not use this site.

MyHeritage ist eine sehr gute Software. Mein Problem ist die Kommunikation per Mail. Der Mail-Link ist sehr schwer und mit viel Zeitaufwand zu finden - offensichtlich wollen Sie nicht, dass die Kunden Sie per Mail ansprechen.
Ein konkretes Problem ist pendent: Ich habe in letzter Minute mein Total-Abonnement erneuert. Aber ich will keine automatische Verlängerung. Ich weiss, dass man das irgendwo einstellen kann. BITTE SAGEN SIE MIR WO ICH DAS ÄNDERN UND DEN AUTOMATISMUS "AUTOMATISCHE VERLÄNGERUNG" KANN!
This has to be one of the best companies to deal with! Their professional support is so expedient. And the product- was the best gift for my daughter. She was so excited to do her DNA test kit, organised a new app, did the test and sent it off all on her own. Alas- under 18's can't get the information released to them for privacy reasons! Having her DNA information returned to my management was flawless. You made her day! She is just blown away to learn of her DNA heritage and has already had people reach out to her. She is finally using the internet to research about her family instead of just playing games.

I am so happy with MyHeritage because I could grow my family tree. The results of my DNA tests made it possible to find other relatives and we could connect our family trees which helped to find dates of birth and marriage for examples. Thus, we could find family documents. The ethnicity results are also precise and accurate, and express most of my origins
My card was charged for an annual subscription of $129. I cancelled this free trial before it was over and my card was still charged. I've tried to reach out several times and I cannot get a representative on the phone or by email. They don't even send anything to show transaction such as a receipt. I wouldn't have known if I didn't check my account daily.

In 2016, I received my free DNA kit and shipped to the Philippines but unfortunately, misplaced it. Now I found the DNA kit, and emailed Myheritage if I could still use it. But to my surprise, they reply to me that they will replace a new DNA kit instead, and it is on the way. Im so happy with their customer service. Im so satisfied. Thank you for your excellent service.
Answer: My issue was the automatic renewal without any kind of courtesy reminder prior to the effective date, as other businesses do. Advising one year in advance is a poor business practice. When I contacted them immediately on the renewal effective date, they refused to cancel and offered me a 25% discount. They eventually gave me the full refund but it was due to me turning it over to AMEX to resolve. I do however agree with the advice to base your renewal on your own personal experience.
Answer: You can find your site subscriptions via MyHeritage homepage - pull-down menu on the right upper corner button "Settings". Then click on "My purchases", and button "Site subscriptions". Click "View details". The details contain section "Cancel subscription". Maybe you can get advice by mail from MyHeritage support team ([email protected]).

They are highly Sloppy and unprofessional in responding to customer request for assistance. Even though they have and excellent Technical Team. Answer: Hi After posting my complaint about MyHeritage on here I got a very quick response from some one called Dave at the company. He told me to send an email to [email protected] and add the subject Dave: sitejabber. He responded a couple of days later - I emailed on a Saturday - and the auto repeat on my subscription was cancelled and my money refunded within days. Hope this helps.
