I'I was truly disappointed with my hire experience.
I arrived at the garage at 12.40 and tried to pick up my hire ute. The staff struggled to complete the hire as the ute had not been unlocked on their system and they were unable to release the key to me. After 30 minutes and a phone call to moveyourself.com.au, they were able to give me the keys. I then went to get the ute started but it wouldnt go. I then walked back to the garage and they called them again as you they neglected to remotely enable the vehicle.
Finally, I managed to leave with the ute, 45 minutes after I'd first entered the garage.
If that wasnt bad enough, I checked the refund of deposit in my bank to find there was not a full refund. I assume this is because they thought I did 156kms when in actual fact, I did 92.8 kms. When i entered the car, the previous hire had 63.5 kms and as part of the remote enabling, I suspect they have added the two together.
The whole experience was been poor. Even the independent garage staff said moveyourself were a totally disorganised company.
Tried to resolve the complaint with a guy called Xavier Bontemps at moveyourself.com.au. It was the worst customer service I've received in years. He asked ME to call HIM to discuss it! He couldnt have been less interested if he'd tried.
