This was my first time purchasing motorcycling equipment based on professional advice and the boots that I received covered all the functional requirements, fit me well, look great, AND cost a reasonable price that makes me consider adding more items to my collection.

I was so happy that I was able to purchase my son motorcycle boots and motorcycle pants at a very good price. I would recommend this website to anyone. These boots I have been looking to buy them for a while but I couldn't afford them at the price of the store was asking for. However motorcycle close out made it happen and made my son happy of a very awaitt for Christmas present.

Limited selection brand-wise but good prices if they have what you're looking for! Shipping was pretty quick (both times I've ordered from them). I ended up with a jacket that met multiple needs for way less $$ (waterproof and with a lot of vent-ability).

I've always loved FirstGear stuff. I have 4 of their jackets and have had at least as many pairs of their pants. It all started when I started riding in the 1980's with Hein Gericke gear. I kept looking and ended up with FirstGear. I've always worn Gaerne boots until this pair. I like the taller boot. I'm not sure how the plastic straps will hold up. As far as comfort, a good boot needs to be broken in. They hurt at first. I had blisters. I kept tightening the straps, and 2 weeks later, I'm wearing them all day. Most of the straps had to be cut, because they were too long to work with the buckle system, especially the top ones. The built in armor is much better than what I've had previously. If you're willing to 'break in' stiff boots and realize the benefits of doing so, you can't go wrong with these. Maybe it's just my feet. I'm sure they fit somebody perfectly, right out of the box.

I have brought many MC gloves over time & always bought size large. I ordered gloves, size large, but they were too small, so I had to return them & reorder XL.
Problem I paid for postage to get them, postage to return them & postage to get the replacement. Should have just gone to my local shop would have been cheaper in the long run.

I returned pants that had seams opening up. They were never worn and had all tags in tact. After a lot of hassle they eventually sent me a shipping label for the return. By the way the shipping was supper slow so now I had to buy pants locally for my trip. Weeks later they send me repaired pants back, I was supposed to be credited my money back. We never discussed anything else and now many weeks later they send me pants and won't send me a shipping label so I can return the unopened box. Completely unprofessional and childish responses from them.
