I returned my purchases because the tulip chairs do not fit an adult. I contacted customer service and followed directions returning in original packaging. Damaged inside and I was out all monies including UPS costs. At first I received all recompense by my credit card, but they later took back all money based upon discussions by Modterior.

The coffee table that was delivered is lovely but the delivery was awful.!
This is a product that is extremely heavy to handle and was left at my door. I'm an elderly man that no way could I manage to take it in. This product should not have been delivered by UPS!, you needed a delivery person who could bring it into the house. I would have gladly payed extra to have the set it up. Because of this I would never ever buy anything else from Modterior again. Your customer service was polite but unhelpful.

Attempted to return. I have to pay myself almost $300 to return for shipping and then keep another $100 from purchase price. THIEVES! Will cost me half of what I paid to return.

I recently purchased the Eames "Leather" Lounge Chair and Ottoman knockoff. The photo posted on the site is very deceiving. I called the company to clarify that the color was a Cognac color and the man I spoke to said it was. When I opened the box I found a bright orange chair and ottoman. It doesn't smell or feel like leather! It looks painted with no apparent leather grain! It looks like cheap orange vinyl!
We put it together and sat in it. It is extremely uncomfortable. The angle of the seat was not comfortable! The head rest protrudes forward forcing your head to jet out.
When I called the company and expressed my concerns they said I could return it as long as it came back with the same packaging. Well, the box arrived broken. When I phoned several shipping companies (including UPS and FedEx) since return shipping is not included with the purchase of the chair. They quoted between $500-$1200! So now, I'm stuck with a very uncomfortable orange chair! I told them that their description of the leather was not clear. They claim it is dyed leather. Rather than saying it is coated with a very artificial chalky looking paint. There is no sheen to as leather furniture, belts, hand badges and shoes have. Please save yourself a lot of money and a headache snd DO NOT buy this chair!

I purchased an office chair from Modterior and within 3 months, a metal piece under the chair for support split in half. The company agreed to send me another chair, but I had to pay $50 for the shipping. I was not happy about either! Then the new chain broke in the same exact place as the first one which indicates it is a design flaw. At this point, the company will not give me a refund of any sort. All they have told me is they are filing a claim with the manufacturer, but no further details were given. Terrible. I will never purchase from them again. This was a $350 and did not hold up to the quality whatsoever. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

Probably depends on what you're ordering, but my experience was awful. They initiated a shipping notice after 3-4 weeks just to placate me, but it's 3 weeks later and the item still hasn't shipped. They said FedEx isn't picking up due to COVID, an obvious lie. I asked why they couldn't use another service and they said only FedEx services their warehouse. Fishy at best. Customer Service, well, I'm not sure there is any. A snippy lady takes you name and phone number and then suggests emailing them. No one ever calls back. Emailing gets you nowhere, so it's all an obvious runaround. Sure, the prices are nice but only if you get the product. Oh, and that's another thing. They charge you when you order, not upon confirmed shipping. So I'm out $800. Live and learn. I hate lowlifes.

I just recently purchase a coffee table from this site. I love it. They have a lot of interesting furniture on the site. Very modern. I had order the coffee table in Dark Walnut. I had to wait like 5 days for it to ship. Which is reasonable for the time we are in now. Very understandable. I had call to check on the inventory to make sure is in stock. It seems like it was out of stock in a lot of different site. The Customer service representative at Modterior was very helpful and patient. They double check my items availability and gave me a time frame of when it was suppose to be available and will ship. The Email communication was very efficient as well. I have gotten a email on the day of the purchase, the day it was shipped with tracking. I had trouble finding the email in my inbox at first. For some reason it had gotten filter into my spam box. After it shipped it came with FedEx with in 5 days. The Coffee table is very beautiful. Make sure you have 2 person for the coffee table glass top, because is very heavy. Assembly was easy for my husband and I. Great bargain price for great product! Highly recommend Modterior!

I have recently order the Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman in Black / Walnut. I can not say anything bad about it. The experience from the purchase to delivery was super. Email notification and updates came on time. All the information is in the email that they sent were on target, as to delivery date, time, tracking information. The chair and ottoman is in the exact spec and color that is listed. I would buy it again from Modterior. And as for the poor reviews. I do not know what expectation you guys have. The price is exceptional, and the product is out standing. I feel like i got more than what i bargain for. If you feel like you want to spent couple thousand on chairs great for you. But this chairs i got was well above my expectations. And if i can give 6 stars i would.

Spent over 1000. 00 on a chair. It was delayed for weeks without any info from the company. The chair arrived and was garbage quality. I couldn't get some bolts to screw in and others I couldn't remove. When I called to ask for refund they refer me to emailing them. No one from the refund department would take a call. They demanded the chair be in perfect condition and re packaged exactly as it was on order to get refund. Just awful experience. I never was able to speak with a human in defund exchange department. Only rude terse emails from that department. I only wanted to return and get a refund. Tree people have attitudes and could care less about you as a customer. Do not do business with them.
