Their size chart is completely out of scale! I purchased a linen dress; knowing that their size is considerably small than here, I ordered a size L instead of medium. Well the dress is so small that I couldn't fit inside and the material is cotton+polyester instead of linen! Forget the refund; they want me to ship back to China at my own expense and they offer me another purchase with 20% off! That really ad to my reluctance to buy from China! I ordered a cute dress online and I received something with a different color and shape. Ugly quality too... I immediately said that the order was a mistake and asked how to return it. They are telling me that I have to return it to China, at my own expense. This is a joke!

I ordered 2 swimsuits and i was extremely pleased with the quality of the garments. I got an entire swimsuit for less than the price of what a top usually costs. The sizing was spot on as well. I am 5'4" and weigh 145 slight muscular build and the medium fit perfect.
I ordered bathing suits after reading the return policy which stated you could return in 30 days if you paid shipping. When I wanted to return I was not given the mailing information because "you must return to China and it will cost too much"
Still haven't received my order. Done with them! Tired of reminding them. It is almost a month now & tracking is useless..
What is the return address for Modlily? I have submitted requests for the last week and only get a response asking me to send pictures? Modlily already has the pictures of what I ordered! They just want me to give up and not return the clothes so they can keep my $100 dollars... and I can keep the poor quality, small and smelly clothes.
Thin material and small, I ordered a size larger than I am and still a bit snug, and I can't find anywhere to exchange them. Items came without any paper work
Nice fabric, nice style but the Asian sizings are way off compared to US sizings. I ordered 2 sizes larger than normal and it STILL would not even come close to fitting me. Never will order from again.
This place is a disaster. The first time I ordered one top... it was a nice top... I wear a size large so ordered XL because I know this is direct from China and will run small. I gave the extra large top to my friend who wears a small and it fit her. The next time I ordered two tops and ordered XXL (yes I really am this dumb). The one shirt, which looked sooooo cute in the picture was the cheapest piece of garbage I have ever seen... the material was so thin and rough and the dye smell so strong when I opened the package... it was disgusting... plus... still too small. The other shirt was okay but too small and I gave to a friend who wears a medium... it fit. The second time I tried to return... BEWARE... there is no way you can return anything. If you return you only get 60% of what you paid, you pay postage and customs to China... and after checking I would have paid twice as much to send it back as I would have received. Avoid this place like the plague. Oh, I almost forgot... it took 9 weeks to get the second order. I received notification it had shipped... but every time I checked it was stuck in Customs. I waited 9 weeks and lost $68 and suffered a great deal of frustration. Buy American.
Bad Quality, bad service, no take back of the dress. The material is not as described, doesn't fit, the sizes even in L are for childs.
I ordered the blouse in Large. It is so small that I think it is smaller than a medium. I can't even get it over my head. The fabric is very thin, would need a camisole under it. The print is pretty, but that doesn't matter since I can't wear it. The blouse was shipped from China.

Unable to make a return! Website provides guidelines (which are met) and clear instruction for returns but the link to the form does not work! I have tried to contact ModLil via phone, email and live chat (which seems not to work either) but have not received any responses. Extremely Frustrated with the LACK of customer service!

I bought a swimsuit then 2 days later a dress. The dress showed up first, XXL fit like a medium. Then about a week later the swimsuit showed up, that size seemed to fit as expected. Emailed to try and return the dress, but weren't very helpful about it. Complained about high shipping costs.
I liked the swimsuit I had ordered but the size was too big. I sent in a ticket to return it but they told me that I should just keep it as shipping returns (paid buy the customer) are very expensive. They suggested I keep the swimsuit and then buy another at a discounted price. I could probably wear this one if I had too so I will just have to suck it up and keep it but I don't plan on purchasing anything else from them. It was my fault I did not check into returns more closely. When I searched a return on a swimsuit which I could mail back in a USPS envelope it is almost 7.00 Not sure if its worth it. Will have to think on this a little more.
So just use caution when purchasing. Thought the swimsuit was nice and a good price comparing it to what I have seen out there, but if it doesn't fit you might get stuck with it!
I ordered the dress a size bigger, I will not be able to wear this dress. It's too small. You advertise a dress that is flowing and loose but your sizing does not confirm it. I wear a medium- large so I ordered an xl. Hah! It's tiny. I'm absolutely disappointed. I was looking forward to this gorgeous turquoise dress for Easter from Modlilly - But it's not happening.
Terrible company and even worse service. Don't do it! The suit was too small and now they are trying to not refund me and I'm fighting them on PayPal. Worst company EVER!

Answer: You probably received same aweful material that I did but different color and design! My top was advertised as 95% cotton. Modlily LIED. I received a unbelievably ugly top in polyester. I wouldnt give it away to my worst enemy. I ordered through Paypal who has a new division solely dedicated to Modlily returns and complaints! Paypal will get my money back and I will be posting all over the interner to warn people of these chinese thieves!
