I enjoyed going thru the dresses with my wife and her telling me what she liked and what she didn't like for her and after being to gather for over 20 years I found out a lot about her.
One thing you might want to offer, she would sometime like the design and the color but she didn't like her tiny shoulders not covered. So maybe offer with or without.
