Ordering from this website has been a very costly and stressful mistake. Ordered my daughter's prom dress and dress arrived and everything you can think of is wrong with the dress. At least 2 sizes bigger than size ordered, terrible sewing, ghastly looking dress, appalling customer services since i have tried to make contact with them to return the dress. Didnt even know the company was not in the uk until i ordered the dress. I know i will most probably not get the over £100 spent on the dress but it will give me satisfaction to know that someone else heeded my warning to stay away from this company. They are just con artists out to swindle you of your money.

I ordered 5 bridesmaids dresses from this site because i thought it was a UK company. Imagine the horror when i discovered they were in China. I ordered UK sizes, paid for the purchase and £73 delivery. The dresses arrived in 14 days which was great, things started going wrong when the bridesmaids tried them on. Each dress was 2 sizes too small, the straps where terrible and the stitch work was shoddy. When i contacted their so called customer service they insisted they wanted pictures, then after 2 days they responded stating that they couldn't see anything wrong with them and then proceeded to ignore my emails. Then today i received a letter from TNT stating that i now have to pay tax on these which wasn't stated on the site. Please stay away from this site and if you have to use it please order a least a size UP from what you would normally wear.

STAY AWAY I BEG... Save someone else from buying appallingly made dresses and zero customer service. I ordered dress for daughter's prom. Dress came but TNT failed to leave notes and by the time MISSYdress contacted me it had been sent back! Waited for a further 2 weeks and eventually dress sent again. Once my daughter put it on it became obvious that the dress was unsuitable to wear. The lining is too big for the dress and sticks out. The collar is too big one side and sits up. It is appalling. I have sent photos and emails and they asked me to have it altered here! Can you imagine the further costs involved? Today they said I can return it but only for half return and I will have to pay taxes and high delivery fee again. DISGUSTING. If I didn't like the dress I understand but it is unfit to wear! To top it off I have received an invoice from TNT for delivery of dress when they failed to deliver it the first time! DO NOT USE... Buy in UK and save yourself the heartache and money. They are cowboys. I am now £150 down and still have to find and buy another prom dress. DISGUSTING... DO NOT USE...

STAY AWAY FROM THIS WEBSITE, I REPEAT, STAY AWAY! The whole thing is a complete farce, its absolutely disgraceful! All they do is take pictures from other websites and try to copy them. I recently bought a dress from them and it was awful. Nothing like the picture at all. It stunk of fish as well. The dress was a complete misfit, the material was awful, and the stitching was $#*!. Ive been in contact with them now for over a week, but they are not giving me the address to send it back.

DON'T BELIEVE THE 5 STAR REVIEWS! As I had 7 bridesmaids I wanted to cut costs and order from this site, I ordered swatches (it came to £25 and I could only chose 5 colours) then I ordered the first 3 dresses thinking if they were OK, I'd order the rest. They were horrendous, they were lumpy and crap quality. I took photos and emailed and they told me they would refund me a maximum of £5. They were quite rude and I think they purposely misunderstood what I was asking for. Please don't waste your money on them, if you want something cheaper than the normal bridesmaid dress go to Monsoon or somewhere on the highstreet.

I ordered a dress just recently from Missy Dress and was incredibly happy with it. It was exactly as pictured, perfect colour, beautifully made and in fact I thought it was a fabulous bargain considering the obvious workmanship. I ordered the dress made to measure as I was careful to check their measurements for the sizing against our typical UK sizing and found that it didn't match up. I was so glad I did this as it didn't cost any extra surprisingly! It fit like a glove and no-one could believe how beautiful it was for the cost. The communication from Missy Dress was excellent throughout and I was quite shocked at how quickly it arrived considering the shipping times. I am very happy with the service and the product and will recommend and certainly buy from them again for any special occasions:-)

I am going to be a Bridesmaid for my boyfriends mums wedding this june and we found the royal blue long dresses on this website with the flowers on one shoulder. We loved the dresses and thought they would be perfect for the grecian theme. I am a bridesmaid alongside another girl and we ordered our dresses separately due to convenience not thinking anything of it. The other bridemaid's dress arrived and we were far from happy with it. The flowers were shabby and not at all like the picture and the sizing was terrible. It was miles to big even though she had measured herself and the size 10 matched her measurements. Anyway we waited till my dress had arrived to see if it was any better as mine had been custom made only to find that they had sent completely different dresses. They were made from different materials, the flowers were completely different and the pleats along the front were a lot bigger then my fellow bridesmaid dress. Safe to say we were not happy. So an email was sent to Missy dress to inform them of the issue hoping they could rectify the problem as we had wanted two dresses the same! There response was less than professional and frankly rude and unhelpful. They told us we would have to find a tailor to sort the dresses out ourselves and didn't even begin to explain why the dresses did not match when we had ordered the same ones. We have been left feeling very stressed and let down. With only 2 months left till the wedding it is completely unacceptable and I advise anyone planning to use this website to stay away! They don't have any idea about customer service and now we are left with two odd, oversized and shabbily made dresses.

Please do not buy from them. Bought prom dress for granddaughter. When it arrived, straps at back of dress had had not been cut properly so both sides of dress stood right out from her back. Sent them photos which they asked for and they told me to take it to tailor and have fixed. I was them told, when I sent them cost of fixing dress, the maximum compensation they pay is £12 but to fix dress was £25. I was not looking for compensation, I needed dress to be wearable which it wasn't. Emails from them were abrupt and took several days for them to respond and only after 2nd prompts from me. Also£23 postage for dress to arrive in small grey bag is shocking and have now received bill for import tax. They are a dreadful and rude company to deal with

Good quality dresses but extremely poor customer service.

I ordered 5 dresses for my bridesmaids, all supposedly in the same colour. When they came they dresses looked lovely except that two dresses were slightly the wrong colour - different shades of blue. I emailed to express my concern and was asked to submit photos, which I did. The only response I got was this is the colour chiffon we used. When I questioned them about how this would alter the colours, no reply.

I've sent countless emails and nothing back. Also as others have said I've now had a bill from TNT for tax; nothing mentioned on their website. I've just got to hope when they're tried on: a) they fit and b) the colours don't look too horrendous next to each other.

Very poor customer service, once they have your money that's all they care about!

I recently ordered a dress & jacket to wear to my Step Daughter's wedding from missydress.co.uk, big mistake. I placed my order for the colour shown in the picture on the website which I would call "cream". What arrived was what I can only describe as "pink" & totally unsuitable as it would clash with the Bridesmaids. That is not the worst of it, There is a very noticeable hole in the lace in the top of the bodice. When I e-mailed their Customer Service I was asked to send pictures which I did. The response was the colour supplied was as the website & an offer of 10 dollar refund as compensation for the hole in the lace. Despite having e-mailed them on several further occasions stating I wanted to implement their "returns policy", I have been ignored. I am now left with a totally useless dress/jacket which has cost me almost £150.00. Stay away from this website. I will never use them again nor would I recommend them to anyone.

I placed an order for a prom dress on this site, then read the reviews here and was really worried. However, my worries were completely misplaced. Communication from the company was excellent - they emailed to confirm the order, then again during manufacture and again when the garment was dispatched. We were provided with a tracking number for delivery, and the garment arrived well within the estimate provided on the website, on exactly the date specified by the courier and with no additional import charges. The dress looked just like the photo on the website. It fits perfectly (made to a custom size) and is well made. I would have no hesitation in ordering from the website again. Very happy :)
