I purchased a plan for my wife and me in January but was unable to get my wife's phone to take the sim card but mine worked fine so she ended up not using the line. When I was reading the terms it said if the line was not activated after, I believe was 30 day it would be refunded. I figured it would eventually be back on my card but after checking yesterday, 3 months later I couldn't find a refund, so I contacted customer chat support. After chatting for over an hour trying to explain what happened I was told I would receive a refund and needed to fill out a request. I did and got an email today stating the no refund would be issued because it was past the refund request date. The service was never used once but they are unable to see or communicate that to the refund department.
On top of that the service is very spotty in rural areas and every day driving I loose service that I never lost with At&t. I guess my next step will be cricket who uses at&t towers.
It was very easy to set up on my existing phone. I had an issue in November 2022 with my renewal, but they were able to solve it for me pretty quickly. Since then it's been smooth sailing. It's a great phone plan for a great price.
When I initially signed up for Mint, I thought it was great! The price was great and I had no issues
With my service. When it came time to renew my 3 month plan, I paid $130. A little more than the original price for the 3 month plan but not bad. Then 2 days later I check my bank account and see that Mint mobile had taken out $259 for an annual plan! This overdrew my account (on thanksgiving no less). I called to rectify the situation and was told the money would be refunded in 72 hours. It wasn't. I called again because my app was now telling me that my plan was expired and I had no cell service. After 5-6 calls, I was told that the ticket that was put in actually takes 7-10 business days to refund. In the meantime, they refunded my 3 month plan and the annual plan that they mistakenly took out of my account. Now my bank account is -$353 and I won't have any money or cell service for 7-10 days. I'm so upset and also scared because I'm a single mom and this is our only phone. It only works when I'm connected to wifi and I can only communicate with other iPhones. I wish Mint had worked out for me but they just ruined my life and now I'm suicidal. Thanks.
Mint mobile sucks, don't even bother. Paid money no internet no calls and their customer service is a joke.
This is by far the most horrible service I've used in my life. Ryan Reynolds shame on you! And then how dare your company hold my phone hostage and demand I jump through hoops… I demand you jump through my hoops who do you think you are you haven't done anything to help the regular person like me with monthly bills. Stick to acting not
I ordered the 3months unlimited and got 3months for free as an introductory offer. After not even a month I got an complaint call that I used to much on my hotspot. I canceled my service and got no dime of my paid three months back! IR
My old phone lost the network connection. I thought it was the sim card. I bought a new phone and contacted Mint to get a new sim card. I was told that no CSR could see my account because I had 2 part verification. My password doesn't work and now my phone doesn't work to receive a code. On at least two occasions, I've given them my name, email, address, and 5 numbers from my call log to prove my identity. I've been waiting a FULL WEEK for Mint to unlock my account, send me a new sim card, and activate it to my number. I finally received the sim card, but they still say my account is locked, so they can't activate the card or transfer my number to a different carrier. Apparently, they restarted the process of unlocking my account yesterday (6 days into this ordeal). I was just told that it might be 48 hours from that restart before the account is unlocked. For this entire time, I've been unable to use my phone or transfer my number to a different provider.
If I could give Mint 0 stars, I would.
This app sucks so freaking much. Worst app ever. Can't believe people use this stupid app. It should be free. Like who the hell is paying for something so stupid like this.
I have had a headache for 2 days dealing with Mintmobile! They couldn't get my phone activated, customer service is awful! Run from this company!
Mint mobile ripping customers are out of their hard earning money not returning refund in service is terrible bad news
For the past 5 months, my service drops completely and will drop any active call I'm on. This happens about 4x/day. I run my business over the phone and have lost clients due to this issue of calls dropping multiple times per day. I had great service for the first year, and then all of the sudden, calls and service would drop all the time, no matter where I was located. I've made over 11 calls into the customer service center in the past 1.5 months with absolutely no help. They all promised to call me back with further instructions or email me, and NO times out of the 11 calls did ANYONE actually follow through.
All I'm asking for is a refund for the last portion of my pre-paid months as I have had to switch carriers and pay for another plan now too. No one has been able to help me. The absolute WORST problem solving and customer service offered here.
Disgusting customer service, they don't know what they're doing and they keep hanging up on my face and each time i get on the phone with a different agent they act all nice and "helpful" and the same things happens again! Ryan needs to upgrade his customer service team they suck
"Activate your device" "Registering the device with the network" These are the messages I get every time I power up my phone. This activation/registration always fails with a Connection Error 6601. So every time I power up the phone I have to wait over two minutes before using it. I have spent hours on the phone with mint mobile support. They have never fixed the problem but constantly put me on hold always being polite but just trying to wear me down. I was just told I could only get my money back within the first seven days. I have spoken with ten or more mint support people only to get an endless run around with the problem never being fixed and constantly being put on hold.
Do yourself a favor and go with another carrier. They pretend to be customer friendly but they are not. The last time I was put on hold they eventually hung up on me. These people have NO SOLUTIONS. Go elsewhere it you do not want endless run arounds and you want a phone that works correctly.
Worse tech support in the world. A rip off stay away. Don't want to give this company anymore time. Takes more than some Hollywood type to make a company!
It was too good to be true, $15 plan? For a teenager was great I supposed, but, not, I have this plan for my daughter you cannot CAN NOT pay by the month, minimum of 3 months plan, well connection looses at times, too much hustle for just a line with low quality, really slow connection.
Dont bother, little to no service. Call into customer service and all they can do is patronize you and read off a script. Made over 27 calls and chats. Lied to almost everytime. Sent me defective phone and i paid to fix it. Have no service at home and very little at work where i spend 90% of my time. Of course no refund. But of course they claim to have excellent coverage in my areas. I would caution anyone to stay away and avoid all the headaches and lies.
For starters, we had lousy reception. In fact, most of the time we had no service at all. Then, when we tried transferring back to our previous provider, they required us to give them "5 local numbers that we regularly call." Not sure why this was needed, but we would never share friends' numbers just so that they could call them and say that we referred them to Mint Mobile. That would be absurd. Additionally, the online "Service Agent" that we chatted with had a horrible grasp of the English language. It was so horrendously bad that we could not understand what they were saying. I wouldn't recommend Mint Mobile to my greatest enemy.
Mint mobile succubus. It will suck you in with you-know-what and give you 2 days notice that your subscription is renewed. Uh. No way in he'll to switch. So. You're stuck for another 3 months. The service is substandard which you don't know because you are used to sh$tty service. Get out while you can. She will suck you dry until you look like the cryptkeeper.
4 DAYS NO PHONE SERVICE AND ALL THE REPS SAY IS... YOU NEED TO WAIT UNTIL MY TEAM GETS BACK TO ME... WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW... I GOTTA FIND A NEW COMPANY NOW.
I HAVE NO WORKING PHONE
Don't count on getting a refund or changing to a high capacity plan like 4gb to 10gb per month without charging $30 versus $15. A few other tricks so I favor Tello. Next step is to try Boost $12.50 unlimited plan as Tello drops the data connection and bandwidth depends on the time of day. As it appears Mint does as well in my case (LTE only). The Boost deal has not let me apply thus far. Could be 5g territory only.
I was customer for Mint Mobile for little over 4 month I do purchase international Rooming when I was visiting BANGLADESH I purchased $20.00 + tax it cost more then $76.00 but it never work in Bangladesh, MINT mobile never gave my refund,
Answer: NO, NO, NO! They have limited hours, even for "chat help". If and when you get ahold of someone, they're inconsistent, inconsiderate, robotic, and they have no record of your previous attempts to get resolution! They make you start all over from the beginning each and every time. Plus, they LIE to you when they say it's "all taken care of."
Answer: If they're legit, I'd like to see them prove it. No brick & mortar, mostly robots and simps for support. No wonder Ryan Reynolds took the money and ran!
Answer: Yes us mobile is better if u can use CDMA type phone on the Verizon system it is faster although it is nothing to jump up and down about it is better.
