Same story - charged immediately, no shoes. Got one delivery date, no-show. Got second delivery date - nothing came. Messages ignored or "mail box full" message. Got a UPS tracking number - UPS says no such number.

Crooks. These guys charge your card immediately and never ship the shoes. They do not answer calls or return messages. They do respond to emails with endless promises that the shoes will ship, have shipped (but no tracking number), etc.
I'm just another sucker who ordered shoes 12/19/10 and my credit card was charged that day for "back-ordered' shoes promised to be delivered by 1/14/11. It's 3/3/11 today - since I canceled my order in early February, have only received e-mails (three times over the last month) acknowledging my cancellation and that their credit dept. will notify me of a refund. But no refund - they are keeping our money. They don't answer their phones. This is a scam at its best - hard to believe this isn't white collar crime - I'm going to contact the Wisconsin attorney general's office.
My husband ordered two pairs of shoes through MENSHOENET.COM on
11/2/2010. The payment cleared our bank 11/4 for $111.90 and have yet to receive shoes or a refund. We received an odd email on 11/5 that said it was a 2nd email of
Confirmation which said it was "in case we did not receive the 1st". We tried to contact them by phone and could not even leave a message because their voicemail
Box was full throughout the holidays. We finally were able to leave several voicemail messages in January. We placed an official complaint with the BBB (Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin) and were advised they would contact the firm. In recent followup with the BBB, they say that the company does not respond to them either. In January we ordered the needed shoes through AMAZON.COM. My husband is on permanent disability and I am retired, both of us on limited income. Since the BBB is unable to assist us further, we have to face the permanent loss of $111.90 because we cannot afford an attorney to legally pursue the matter.
I ordered 2 pairs of shoes at the end of November and did not receive them until early February. In their defense, however, I point out that menshoenet responded to every one of my 4 or 5 inquiries during that time; and they ultimately did deliver my shoes. I had ordered shoes from them on 2 prior occasions with no problems whatsoever. Although their order fulfillment was dismayingly slow this time around, I don't believe this to be a fraudulent company. They are apparently at the mercy of their suppliers... and it appears that they don't order from the supplier until you place your order with menshoenet.
I think I've been screwed... dang it! I should have read these reviews before buying from this website! I ordered a pair of dr. martens from them a week ago, I'm trying to find out about my order, but they don't return calls or emails... I've decided to cancel the order, but once again they don't answer the phone or emails... I don't know what to do... I want to get my money back!

I should have done my homework first before purchasing. Now I believe I have lost nearly $100 by never receiving a refund for a product that was out of stock. I ordered the product ( men's shoes) on 1/25/11 and was told the product is out of stock. I requested a refund and after leaving 3 voice messages and 5 e-mails (the first was ackowledged) but have not received it as of 2/15/11. Based on the other comments, I doubt if I ever will.
I intend on starting with the Better Business Bureau then take legal action through the city attorney, state attorney general and then the FBI for possible wire fraud.

Get the impression they don't stock anything. They charge you now, order it from somewhere else, and ship later. I ordered, received no confirmation, then received an email a few days later saying my order couldn't be completed. I ordered from another site. Then received an order confirmation a day or two later (five days after my order). Won't answer their phone. Emailed saying I wanted to cancel but they still charged my card. Disputing with my credit card to get my money back.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I ordered shoes, they took 3 weeks to come in, eventhough website says 4-7 business days.
I returned the shoes the day after i received them, had to pay shipping back.
I still have not received my refund. That was in August. I have contacted the BBB of Wisconsin and they never responded to them either. Crappy customer service and theives, they basically have stolen my money.
All the comments say it all. Ordered a pair of shoes the day after Thanksgiving and it is now December 29th. It's a shame when you order a Christmas gift for someone with plenty of time for delivery before Christmas and you get no product or response. I will take this to hilt with whoever to solve this. It is no longer about the shoes, it's how they can get away with it.

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes on September 3. Sent several emails and received terse response that they would "notify shipping" - finally, had to complain to the consumer affairs bureau which is also located in Milwaukee where Van's Shoe Shop is located - that's who MenShoeNet really is. Their phone numbers are just voicemail systems, no one ever answers. Finally received my shoes on November 29. I'm happy with the shoes. It would have been better if they said up front that it would take 3 months. I have to admit - I am still not sure if they are legitimate and have a 3 or 4 month delivery - or if they are bogus and my complaint to the Wisconsin consumer bureau forced them to send me my merchandise. All I know is that I had to make several complaints, but finally received the shoes I ordered.
LOUSY service. Their web site stated 7-10 days free shipping. It took over a month for my shoe order to finally arrive. POOR customer service while I was trying to find out where my order was.

I ordered shoes on Sept 18,2010 and never got the after 10 days I called the company and was told my address wasn't recognized which was a red flag for me. So after trying to call the company several time and emailing with no response, I decided to check for reviews and this is what I found. WOW I just got taken never thought it would happen to me $159.00 I will be calling my credit card company ASAP. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Everyone here is correct. My situation:
Ordered 9/13, a Sunday knowing these shoes are discontinued and shocked that they were on the Menshoenet website!
No automated confirmation arrived -- immediately suspicious.
9/14 sent email requesting confirmation, and it arrived.
9/23 received another, unsolicited, confirmation repeating data from 9/14.
No one answers any of their numbers, ever.
My credit card was NOT charged, however.
10/1 sent a cancellation order via email to the gmail account.
We'll see if I ever get charged or receive a cancellation acknoweldgement!
Same comment as the others. I order shoes over 6 weeks ago. Still no shoes. They called me - told me the shoes were on backorder and would not be available for another 2 months. I said I didn't want to wait - they said they would refund the money - 3 weeks later, still no refund. Tomorrow, I'm sending my credit card company after the money. My guess is that this website is a scam.
This website needs to be shut down! If only I had read these reviews before ordering. I have had the same experience as so many other reviewers. They charged my card immediately, did not ship shoes, did not communicate with me and now I cannot get my money refunded. They are totally fraudulent. There must be a way to stop websites such as this. Do not use Menshoes.net ever!
Same story here. My credit card was charged immediatly, no shoes have been delivered and it has been 2 months! They only answered the phone twice in 30 or more calls. They have promised delivery but the promise date goes by and still no shoes. I have filed a complaint to stop the charge with my credit card company.
EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED TO JOAN P. HAPPENDED TO ME. LUCKILY MY BANK/ VISA HAS RE-IMBURSED ME, I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE IC-3 FBI WEBSITE FOR INTERNET FRAUD, HAD MY CARD CANCELLED AND ISSUED A NEW ONE WITH NEW ACCOUNT NUMBER SO THESE RIP OFF BASTARDS ARE NOT HOLDING MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION. I HOPE THEY GO TO JAIL AND THEN DIRECTLY TO HELL. MY ORDER NUMBER WAS 403, MY "TRACKING COMPLAINT" NUMBER FROM THEM WAS 282. AMAZING--282 OUT OF 403 COMPLAINTS---THAT PRETTY MUCH SUMS IT ALL UP.
Answer: I did not receive a credit but I did finally get my shoes and they even asked about the previous order I did not get over a yr ago and told me if I could give them any point of reference they would fill that order too. I did have all my emails for that one but told them if they would fill this order I would be happy. They even called me back after I received my shoes and told me in the future if I wanted to order to keep their email and email them so they could check to be sure the shoes were in stock. I sent them emails everyday telling them what I was doing as far as comments on this website and others about their company, posted on my facebook and told them I was also going to post on our company facebook page. I then sent email and told them I contacted Georgio Brutini and I would not stop there. Fortunately Georgio Brutini responded immediately and followed thru so I would suggest you contact the shoe company for the brand of shoes you ordered. Hope this helps
