I found that the best way to get the most from Mashable is to download their iPhone App or follow their feed on Pulse. You get the lead of the story and can sort through the large volume of articles quickly. It also provides you with the most recent sampling from each section.

I have seen the mashable logo on sitejabber ever since I joined but never bothered to go to that website. It really is very interesting and has great new sites there. I think I will follow this site and try to keep up to date on the latest and greatest websites.
The site takes forever to load and is far too crowded with flashing hoverable stuff. Yeah, there's a lot of good stuff there, but it half-crashes my browser whenever I go to it. Honestly I'd rather get the news from rss/twitter than go to the site itself

The number 1 spot for Social Media updates and news. You shouldn't go to just one place but this should be on your favorites. Love this site to peices.
While no place should be the only place one goes to, or subscribes to, for information on the rapidly spinning social media scene that is changing our lives, mashable is at the top of my heap of places to start. My only complaint: I spend too much time reading what they post.
"ONLINE MEDIA GOD": 400+ Tools for Photographers, Videobloggers, Podcasters & Musicians - Just as the title reads. It's allowed me to accomplish quite a bit for my colleagues (when im in a pinch and not at my recording studio), and in the near future will do so much more for myself as well.
