You can't get worse customer service. No Response to multiple emails, texts or phone calls. Can't leave a message, Had to file complaint with Bank for refund.

I ordered two ss cleats 5 jul18.

Did not receive any shipping updates so I started sending e mails.

Then read reviews and figured I was screwed.
19th July 18, parts arrived as ordered to my address in Canada.
Thanks.

Lots of concern could have been alleviated by shipping info.

Wish I had looked into this company before ordering. Ordered in May, charged my credit card, got tracking number then nothing, zero, zip, nada. Thankfully small order. Have submitted dispute with my credit card. Buyer beware!

I've been buying stainless parts from Marine Parts Depot for the last 5 years or so with a good result. I'd guess there's been 20 or more purchases - never a problem until a few months ago. I received an incorrect part and was unable to get it corrected (I called and emailed) so I disputed the charge and was reimbursed. Since then I made 5 more purchases - all without a hitch until last week. Ordered $75 worth of various parts, CC was charged and nothing has been delivered and no tracking number has been provided. Calls go to VM with a message saying "Mail Box is full - goodbye" and no reply to 3 emails. Tomorrow it'll be 2 weeks since the order was placed which is my trigger point to dispute the charges via my CC. To bad - good product and a fair price but really crappy service.

I placed an order with them and it was mostly hassle free. Placed a second smaller order and all I got was a confirmation for USPS and never got anything. I called and emailed them and they won't reply.

However this is not over, I WILL pursue this guy and get him to talk to me. Once I have all his contact info I will post it online.

Unreliable

Do not touch this company with a 10-foot pole. Hardware selection and prices very attractive. Your payment will be quickly applied and a tracking number assigned. However, you might have to wait until hell freezes to get delivery. Zero possibility to communicate; will not respond to emails; voicemail is always full. Thankfully in my case I paid with Paypal. After a month with no product or responses, Paypal went to bat for me and a refund was issued.

Ordered 4 stainless rail fittings on Nov. 27th and received them Dec. 24th. The web site says 3 day priority mail shipping. The delay in shipment; however, is the only negative. The confusing part was that my order was charged on Nov. 30th and and I was provided a USPS tracking number at that time; however, the parts were not actually delivered to the shipper until Dec. 20th, but at that time they were in fact sent 3 day priority mail as originally stated. The parts received were of high quality, and the price was up to 50% lower than competitors, not to mention free shipping! So, the bottom line is that if you aren't in a hurry, it's a great deal. If you need your parts fast, don't count on it! I assume it's a matter of what's in stock (if anything) and what has to wait to arrive by the slow boat from China. I wasn't in any hurry, so was quite happy. I guess you save your money and take your chances.

Great for me

I'm surprised and saddened by the many bad reviews. I bought four 10" stainless cleats and two 6" stainless bow chocks from Marine Parts Depot. The price was low and the quality turned out to be extremely high. The cleats are unusually well-proportioned and exquisitely polished---perfect, really. The delivery was prompt (and free). I didn't try anything else, but the cleats and chocks are really a no-brainer compared to anything else I have seen.

Persistence paid off
February 20, 2016

1st order of $30 was great. 2nd order of around $200 was partially wrong. They sent the right number of parts but a handfull were not what I ordered. After 3 months of weekly phone calls and emails (all friendly), they finally replied and made it right. If you like to gamble and are willing to spend a LOT of time if they mess up, then you can enjoy some great prices.

I concur with previous reviewers: Use your credit card! This usually limits your liability to $50.00 and you will be able to recoup your funds (since you never will receive the merchandise). I have done a few hundred $ with this "firm" and had to claim refunds on about half of the items. You'll notice that there is no Pay-Pal option on their site... and for good reason! My advice... pay more and get something for your money.

Do not buy from these crooks! Will not return phone calls or numerous e-mails! Most of time mailbox is full. Debited account for parts and never got them. I guess they fell into a big black hole... If you buy here, better use credit card or pay-pal so you will have recourse. Best to skip these idiots! My order #yhst**************1828 if they want to make it right!

Sent the wrong item and charged me too much for it. Won't return emails or voice mail. Clearly dishonest... voice mail box was full the last time I tried. Stay clear of this company! The cheap prices aren't worth it. I was scammed for $20, but many more people have been scammed for far more. Read the reviews!
