Always helpful, you've already saved me a fortune by cross referencing a part number
From a discontinued Volvo Penta number.
I like you guys!
I'll be back!
Easy to find the correct part. Many option choices also.
I made a recommendation of Marine Engine.com on my Fishing Clubs Newsletter; Walleye World. lscwa.net
Site was easy to navigate, easy parts ordering, quick shipping, will order again if I need more parts!

Good response from marine engine. Com. Recieved parts. Great co. To buy from. Always there to help answer questions to solve outboard engine issues
I own an older Johnson outboard motor that someone deleted the thermostats out of I prefer to have thermostat in it so I was able to completely order everything needed in order to re-install thermostats works excellent
Fit like a dream in the middle of a lake with the rod in the water. Glad to do business with you. I have a 3.75x12 inch prop, any bids on it?
Found a hard to find part on your website... and it was shipped the same day I ordered. The part fits perfectly and what I was expecting. Thanks!
Easy parts look up, fast delivery. Very pleased with your overall experience. Would highly recommend, and I will be using your services again! Thank you very much.
Good place to find info on old marine engines and it was shipped very fast. Thanks a lots for this site, you will be hearing from me again.
Marine engine has done an excellent job supporting my old OMC outboard hobby! I will continue to use their convenient web site.
. They sent a defective part. When I called to see if under warrantee. The said it was and sent me a shipping return label. 4 weeks later. Not only did the keep the part. They gave the refund to the person who gave it to me as a gift whom I don't see. Now in the process of taking them to court for not only the $600 for the part $2500 for non refundable dock fees, storage fees. Fees, etc. all for non use of my boat since they stole my part. Steer clear. Their website is nice but that's about it!
-These people knew it was a gift when I called.
I called in October to see if it was under warranty. They sent ME the return label. When I said the boat was in storage and could get the part taken off in April after winter. They said it was fine.
-The guy below that responded is the president whom I had never talked to. He doesn't even know what's going on in his business.
-They asked my address to send it to. Sent ME the questionnaire.
-The emails said they would send a replacement to me.
-When they found it was defective some other guy who I never talked to sent me the warrantee which I would have never seen.
-I did find a local lawyer to them that is working on the first phase of the lawsuit.
-If they have kept your part. Sent defective parts. Which by other reviews. Common.
Contact me and I will give you the law firms name.
Here's why he is an idiot. IF that was the manufactures warranty. I would want the part back. They took it upon themselves to issue a cash refund without even consulting me. I would have contacted the manufacturer myself. NEVER. Did they mention a cash refund. ALL correspondence was replacement. I think all of the reviews after mine they wrote by themselves and fake. NONE of them have their photos. Just random pics. All of the previous reviews until they responded to mine were bad reviews, too. Buyer beware!
I called marine engines.com to order parts clearly asked them if my order would ship ups and they said yes so i get a shipping conformation for usps? Does that eaven sound like ups? I called marine engines toll free number looking for a rectifier for my 1985 motor. They were VERY friendly and very knowledgable and the price was excellent. They found my part and had me off the phone in 5 minutes. Shipped in 3 days... Highly recommend this site...!
Wanted to charge me a whopping $10 shipping when the part I needed was six bucks! I had ordered from them before so I figured I'd call and try to get help... all they care about is the money, NOT customer service. In all the time he spent arguing with me he could have processed my part. The part I wanted was a small 3gram (in weight) plastic screen... ever heard of envelopes and the post office?!?! Look around first.
I was looking for a real good website to get outboard parts. Never really found it. I had to call to order the part, but Richard was very helpful. It seems the problem with ordering parts anywhere is the information provided by OMC is not organized in a reasonable fashion, so there isn't much the websites can do to improve on that. marineengine.com is a good place to start
Answer: Very possibly it could be the starter. Make sure your battery is at least 13 volts although a weak battery usually would not click the starter but just once. Check the connections at the starter. Have someone tap the starter with a heavy wrench or hammer while you turn the key. Follow the starter lead to the solenoid or relay.

Thanks for the feedback, but Linda is not a customer of ours. A former friend of hers bought a fuel pump from us about a year ago. It was returned under warranty. The warranty was approved and the refund was issued to the original purchaser as required by the terms of the manufacturer's warranty. Thanks.
