Site seems like a scam to me and you cannot apply for say Voice Over work if you are an Actor. Most Jobs pay abysmal rates of pay or nothing at all. Stay clear!

Used to be free, now extortionate, can't even read the job descriptions without it costing an arm and a leg. I get that you have to make some money, maybe job hunters could pay a couple of quid to apply for something but the current model is ridiculous. Shame on Mandy!

New to the program - so far looks like it will provide valuable information. It would be beneficial if paid memberships were for shorter periods than 12 months. 1-3-6-12 months options with varied memberships fees should be considered.

I signed up for the entry level account. Within 24 hrs got an email said there's a match in my area (I'm located in a rural part of California) identical to my profile but to apply I needed to upgrade to the paid account version. Paid for the upgrade and responded to the post. The post went down within a hour with no response from the poster. Did Mandy just fleece me for a paid subscription account?

I use to love this site years ago but something changed. The new management have RUINED it. No matter what your email setting is they wont stop sending you emails and there is no way to delete your account. Do NOT use this site.

I don't know anybody, ANYBODY, in the industry that's gotten a crew job through mandy.com - it is definitely not worth the £20 a month fee. You will not get enough work through mandy to cover the costs.
The acting side of the website is even worse. Generally there seems to be absolutely no vetting process on this site - the quality of jobs posted is just not high enough. Avoid.

Prior to Mandy charging a fee to apply for paying jobs, I secured film roles through their listings. Some roles didn't pay, but some did. It was a good way to build my reel, as I was coming from a theatre background. I have not signed up for the paying subscription because, frankly, not too many roles are in my age range (45+).

Sadly, this page has become a cash grab site. They now split acting unto different branches, and forces you to pay full amount to apply for separate "fields", such as acting and Voice Overs.

Update on a past review because I've actually paid for the annual subscription fee so time for some more info. It's awful. Truly awful.
Send apps for loads of low paid freelance jobs and Mandy actually tells you that they haven't been read! The jobs posted that say "email directly" also don't get a reply.
Applied for approx. 20 this year... heard nothing back. I'm experienced, good broadcast and film credits, loads of corporate work.
This site is riddled with amateurs taking the piss with ridiculously low pay and high demands.
SAVE YOUR MONEY! DON'T PAY FOR A PREMIUM SUB BECAUSE NOTHING GOOD WILL COME FROM IT.

In the beginning CCP was a great forum. But since changing their name and the site, well its simply a money pit, you pay for both listings such a con. The jobs now are simply low paid scrape the bottom of the barrel jobs and to be honest i have not had a response to a single application in over a year. Total waste of time, I have now removed myself.
Please do not waste your money or time.
