I had ordered a blazer made with Napoleon New York wool fabric. After a week or so after ordering, I was informed that the fabric I chose was out of stock and won't be restocked. I chose that fabric because I wanted a certain texture for my jacket, which is a replica of an existing jacket. Why even have that fabric as a choice if it is out of stock? Flannel wool was actually my first choice, but it wasn't available in black. I had to choose another wool for my jacket which was the Napoleon black wool. I believed it would be passable because of the photos on the website. The whole process since ordering had taken about a month and a half. When I received the jacket, the packaging was great, but the fabric used looked like rayon it was so smooth. Usually this would be a good thing, but this was supposed to replicate a jacket I had wanted. The lapels weren't as slim as I would have wanted. The lapel had a buttonhole which the pictures I sent to replicate did not. The fit is alright, but not as flattering as I had imagined. Overall, they did a decent job but I am not satisfied. I have to spend more money to get it made by my other designer because I want this jacket to be perfect. It's a shame since I was planning on placing other orders with MYOJ...

Being a person with a disability and in a wheelchair for over 30 years it's very hard to find clothing that will fit my measurements. It is a constant struggle but MYOJ makes it easy to accommodate all shapes and sizes. Sometimes it's hit or miss in terms of fit because you have to be in charge of precise measurement, but at least it gives you the option to customize your particular body shape and needs without the cost of tailor-made. Just put in a new order for shorts for the summer. Hope they turn out!

Ordered a made to measure jacket with 26" waist. Specified in order notes that the measurement given was for the jacket, not a body measurement. They e-mailed me to confirm this.
They send me a jacket with a 34" waist.
When I complained, they said that unless specified in the order notes that the measurement is for the jacket, they treat waist measurement as a body measurement and add a 'small' amount for comfort and told me to get it 'tweaked' by a tailor at my own expense.
I said I had specified in the order notes.
They asked me for proof the jacket was 8" out.
I sent proof.
They repeat that they treat measurements as body measurements unless told otherwise and add a small amount for comfort. What I have learned is that they can make your clothes any crazy measurement they want, no matter what you tell them and refuse to follow their own policy of re-making it by mechanically repeating 'it is a small amount added for ease' even though no tailor on earth would add 8" onto one measurement for ease, even if they did believe 26" was a body measurement WHICH WOULD STILL HAVE BEEN THEIR MISTAKE TO RECTIFY. I am now seeking a full refund through paypal, which as I have emails from them confirming they received and understood my order notes and that this is the correct procedure for having a jacket made to specific measurements I will probably get. Absolute circus of an organization, I hope their own clothes fit as badly as the ones they make.

I have been doing business with makeyourownjeans for 11 years. My favorite jeans were the Mighty Marcus but they were discontinued for whatever reason. The quality of the jeans have also diminished over the years. The last several pairs I bought all ripped in the crotch area in a fairly short period and the shipping time has increased significantly. I keep doing business hoping the quality and delivery will improve to what it once was.

Order another jean (#5) using same measurements from last order. The jeans came out a little tight. Contacted support to see how we could fix this. Terry from support stated they followed the measurements provided. They offer me a $25 certificate for next order? They really think I would risk another $80 dollars to order another jean with same measurements and have it come out uncomfortable again? It seems they don't value customer satisfaction or loyalty. So I am moving on and looking for another company that treats its customers better.
