My recent experience with you was incredibly frustrating. I paid for a booking that was never confirmed, and when I sought assistance, their customer service proved unhelpful in processing a refund. One of the worst and unimaginable experience with MakemyTrip. In short, there can be no company worse than MakemyTrip. The clearly know how to take large sum of money, cheat and ruin the experience for their customers.
Ours was once in a lifetime experience of Do Dham Yatra (Kedarnath and Badrinath). I planned it for months but unfortunately booked my trip through MakemyTrip in June 2023. I live in the USA and coming all the way to Uttarakhand required handling lot of unknowns, so thought I would take their help from Delhi.
They did not do anything as mentioned in itinerary. The driver was one of the rudest and loudest and a rash driver. We came back alive, and that's a miracle.
The guide (or so called) knew nothing about the trip, in fact not even the places we were going on in the trip. All he would do is eat and sleep in the back seat.
During the trip, I called a MakemyTrip to lodge complaint about this, but they said they will look into it, NO Action.
Of the do dham, we never made it to Kedarnath. Because it was so poorly planned that we reached Kedarnath parking area around 2pm. It had just started raining heavily and there was no way we could cover 16kms plus the jeep ride and be back by 11pm. The guide told us to be back by 11pm as we would start back early morning. How is that possible!
They booked cheapest of the hotels but charged us for 3-star hotels.
After I came back home, I asked for partial refund of my money, as the trip was a total disaster, but they refused to give. Their customer service is the poorest and worst.
If I could give zero rating, I would have done that.
My request, please NEVER book any trip through MakemyTrip. They are frauds.

DO NOT ever use this fraudulent site. We are still waiting for a refund of over 400AED for a duplicate booking( caused by their own gateway technical issue) since May 2023. Fraudulent Company. DO not ever ever use them.

We recently booked a family vacation to Darjeeling through Makemytrip.com for 3N/4 days. MMT presented us with multiple options for activities to book during our stay and we chose multiple activities during our stay. Our flight and hotel were fine. Local planning was horrible. The travel agency MMT used in Darjeeling(Arbhi Travels, Mr.Sharma) and their drivers were very unprofessional. MMT offers so many options for local activities but some of the activities are not even available. I called MMT customer service multiple times and that is another disaster. MMT's local travel partner, Arbhi Travels lies about giving us the tours that they did not give. Tried to talk to MMT customer service about it and to request a refund for the tours that we did not receive but I realized its not worth the effort. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this company

I had booked my Singapore trip but due to medical emergency I had asked for refund or date extension. We were just on discussions with company meanwhile they took their own decision and cancel out my 3 lakhs paid amount trip without my concern and confirmation with zero refund. When they come to know its their blunder fault they asked me shamelessly to take the ticket by paying again. Not just that the moment they come to know my husband is in ICU they started chasing me crazily so that she can cancel the trip and sell it again and make more money and I was further surprised when they cancel the trip (fully paid 3 lakhs) without my concern. Totally fraud company,no business ethics and protocol,just want to have business without any concern for customers, playing with emotions of customers.Heights of the harassment they had done by taking advantage of our situation. BEWARE!

MakeMyTrip has been deceiving its own customers and engaging in fraudulent activities. We've lodged complaints multiple times through phone calls. We booked a hotel, paid in full in advance, received confirmation, and shared the hotel's location. However, upon reaching the location, there was no hotel as promised.
When we contacted customer care for assistance, the customer care executives were apathetic and failed to arrange alternative accommodations. They assured a full refund and even offered vouchers for the inconvenience caused, but neither has been provided thus far.

Made the Booking from make my trip but select the wrong booking call customer support...they helped me really alot as the told me about the policy I was expecting the refund of almost 10-20% but they gave me more than half of my amount really appreciated

When it comes to my experience with make my trip it was all good and fantastic as it was an unplanned but in the peak hours they provided us with the best hotel on our destination spot with other facilities.

Honestly the worst experience ever. The worst customer service call centre in India with no solutions and so rude reading from a script. No help at all. Did not even try. Lied on call and on messages written on system.
They cancelled my ticket partially. Could not find another flight would not refund told me the morning of my flight that partial refund no return flight after promising they would get me a return flight. Absolved all responsibility by saying not us not us its the airline. Blame everything on airline saying its out of their hands. Sorry makemytrip offered a service so they must fulfil it.
Literally they had 16 days to sort out my ticket and the night before cancelled it without refund. Spent more than 8 hours on call with these people and nothing. Going in circles. Drove me insane. I was going mad.
Save yourself don't do it. Never using again ever. Requested my bank to reverse payment.

I spoke to many agents asking for management / complaint email address and they refused to provide. I see from the replies they do indeed have an email address. They then lied and said they called multiple times. Makemytrip pls dont bother replying to this review if you could not privately help on the 12 phone-calls i made and 10 emails i sent.

I booked a ticket by makemytrip app (Dubai to Amritsar). I booked 30kg/7kg luggage bag.and in my ticket also clearly showen 30kg/7kg. But check in time airline staff told me only 20 kg carry to allowed. And he said me it's makemytrip mistake. And now I'm never use this site in my life.

I booked the Hotel Walnut Creek Nainital for 8th sept from Make My Trip on 3rd September and due to some medical issue i tried to cancelled it on 6th Sept but they showed me their 0% refund policy on their Hotel booking.
I Paid Rs.4730/- for this booking and I received 0 amount on cancellation.
This is the kind of service Make My Trip provides by being such a brand.
It is unfair to keep the entire amount without providing any service. It is our Hard earn money and i can not waste it by giving it you, I am not demanding a full refund, but at least 80% of the amount should be refunded, with the remaining 20% being deducted.
As a reputed brand, it is your responsibility to provide quality services to your customers to ensure their mental peace. Providing such services can cause trauma to customers, which is not desirable.
I am disappointed and ashamed of the disgusting services provided by Make My Trip, and I hope that you will take appropriate action to address my concerns.

When contacted they said my bank over debited instead of admitting they submitted different amount to my bank than invoice resulting in VISA fraud. There is no customer service. One of the phone number posted is not in service at all. No other way of communication such as email etc is available. Everyday people are reporting frauds committed by them I am surprised why the company is not black listed and on top of that their executives are invited for public speech.Highhly disappointed but will try if a group of persons who are victims of their fraud can join hands to get thjs company banned

I missed ma flight abd requested for date change nut they asked for 3000Aed. I unintalled the app coz i used 1900aed for around trip, and then asked for 3000aed for direct flight to rebook for me. And also they can make u talk to like 8 of their agents and end up not being helped

Worse experience with MMT. A agent named Naziya Tarranum is worse customer service provider.she planned a trip without looking into the customer requirements detail. Later she refused to cooperate and didn't received our calls, when we required her help in between the trip. Initially she was rude and unprofessional during the call. I'll give 1 out of 10 in rating. This will be my last booking from MMT.

Never ever book any of your holidays with this disgusting company as they will make sure you have a pathetic & a very disappointing experience from.the beginning.even before your trip commences! They charged 8k each for direct flight & when the flight is cancelled will refuse to refund giving silly stupid excuses blaming it on the airline indigo! Never fall for their honeytraps! Huge Scammers! Wish I could rate them a -0! Everyone is a scammer, a liar beginning with the customer care to airline team named renuka to your travel consultant! They all will raise their hands, won't help you at all! I had clearly mentioned we have a diabetic senior citizen hence would prefer a direct flight, paid 8k extra each ticket & now when the flight is cancelled they don't care at all! Answer: I had a tough time getting back my refund as flight was cancelled. Flight cancellation hassle was due to airline which was a different story, but they surely did not help in refund. Finally got refund after 4 months. Cant comment on other aspects but getting Refund from them was painful and difficult, to say the least.
