It has been a long time now in waiting for proper response from MakeMyTrip.
I booked the flight tickets on 3rd Oct, 2014 and As I have informed your team earlier that there is flight timing mismatch in the return tickets due to your system mistake.
My return flight is from Goa to Jaipur via Mumbai, and the issue is that Mumbai flight will take off before we will reach Mumbai.
For that I have called so many times on your call center numbers but did not get any resolution to my issue.
You only people have to arrange the alternate tickets from Mumbai to Jaipur on Tuesday 20th Jan, 2015, and for that its taking so much time to give a proper response.
This is very strange to me also to see this type of behavior / response from MakeMyTrip, and I have now very much frustrated with this behavior.
Till now I have called for 10 times on customer care number but every time I get a single answer that the issue would be resolved in next 48 hours BUT I did not get any response call.
Its been so frustrating. I am definitely going to take some legal action.

In 18 years of travel, I cannot remember such inefficiency.
All I asked for was a change to my ticket.
I called 8 times, sent 5 emails, even visited the local office.
They kept saying yes, we will, then did not even bother to call back.
I had to endure 7 hours more on a 2nd connecting flight and collect and recheck in my bags twice!
They are slow, inefficient, not knowledgeable, untrained, just give any answer to end the call.
Managers do not get back to you on time.
Be prepared to have a lousy, frustrating experience if you use them
If it goes smoothly, it is just by chance, not because of the company.
Use the airline website directly, much faster, better customer service.
Worst service, i had booked my holiday by makemytrip. My holiday starts from tomorrow and i called hotel today in order to confrim my booking and hotel is saying my booking is not confirmed. I called makemytrip many times and got no reply.
I want to share a recent correspondence with MMT which highlights what all is wrong with MMT. Very poor customer experience. See the conversation below:

I wish to draw your attention to many deficiencies in service by your company in respect of the above tour.
1) Your sales staff is least interested in servicing paying customers once the payment is made. They simply toss matters to the backoffice team and take no ownership for sorting out issues. The sales person was very rude and condescending – almost making us feel that she was doing a favour to us.
2) I had to send several reminders to your backoffice team for issuing the tour and train vouchers. Your person had falsely stated that the vouchers were sent by courier including providing me with a fake consignment number of Blue Dart, two days before commencement of the trip( I can share all mail correspondence/SMS if required). After repeated follow-ups the tickets were sent by air cargo( I had to spend Rs 3000 towards petrol, warehousing charges and toll) to pick up the Euro Rail vouchers. The mental agony and torture suffered by us a day before the journey is not something that we will ever wish.
3) Despite three reminders that we need vegetarian meals, this was not updated to the airline. Last night, while traveling from Venice to Dubai, no meals were provided as your company failed to inform the airline that we need veg meals. This is simply unacceptable. Going hungry for 8 hours – all because your team goofed up.
4) The hotel provided in Florence was seedy and in a very bad locality. The room was small and broken down – which is unacceptable when three ladies are traveling.
5) We have been your regular customers in the past – we will never use MakemyTrip again for any of our vacations. Your team is not simply interested in servicing customers.
When i try to book a ticket through make my trip from Bangalore to Katmandu, they deducted money from my card and did not issued the ticket, i have called their customer care number and got informed the money will be credited within 10 working days, they made my money stuck for 10 days which i am not happy with!
Had a kuala lumpur/malaysia holiday package thru MMT for 12 passengers. Dont wanna write long stories, just wanna say its your money and don't waste it on MMT!
I booked ticket and got booking confirmation but did not receive Eticket. I tried calling their Bahrain number which always says "all lines are busy" from morning 7 to 1 pm and i stopped trying. Their email ID "*******@makesmytrip.com" is not even receiving any mail, it fails to deliver everytime. Then I called their India number which takes ages to connect to a person who said in two hours my ticket will be sent but from next time they did not answer call from my phone. If I had read the reviews i would have never done a ticket booking from makemy trip. It's very sad that my family lost the entire mood for holidaying. Be careful guys.
I had taken a holiday package to Sri Lanka through make my trip and my worst fears came true. It was the most disorganized tour managment ever and the driver and guide cheated us on every single chance they could. Openly taking cuts from shops and small time vendors where we shopped. Taking long routes and avoiding major highways... making us pay tolls and Verbal abuses... that was the last straw. The driver cum guide had no idea about any tourist sites. Sub standard hotels were provided which located far off. Had to call make trip several times on the tour, send emails etc... had to pay a huge mobile bill... thanx to make my trip. Its been several weeks no one has even replied from their costumer care cell. One thing is sure I AM NEVER USING MAKE MY TRIP AGAIN
I recently experienced that, MAKEMYTRIP is worst travel site to book air tickets. Very Recently while booking the tickets my wife by mistake swapped the boarding ports. For this mistake I need to cancel the complete booking and I got peanuts in return.
I tried everything from calling Makemytrip CC to Jet Airways and finally on my request Jet Airways second support level team informed me that this is a complete blunder from makemytrip team.
Therefore, I humbly request all the mates reading this article, please don't get attracted to foolish offers provided by makemytrip team they are all only eye catching offers. Please don't expect any kind of support from makemytrip Customer care team and don't get trapped.
I request you to share this article/incidence with all your friends and family and make them aware about them.

Useless site and useless employee. I have been asked to pay ******* for a date change of my air ticket. I got date change from airline directly by paying just *******. Employee have no experience and not compitent.
Do anything but never use makemytrip.com. They should be awarded as the worst customer service company. I made one booking on June 14 2014 for flight to Delhi from Tokyo on Aug 15. Their system generated two bookings - one with correct flight time and one with incorrect flight time. I called next day on June 15 asked that i need tickets only for correct flight timings but their customer care center cancelled correct booking and gave incorrect timing. I have been calling from that day till today on July 25 2014 but not resolved.
Some number to understand their level of service... issue not solved after:
-- 40 days issue not solved
-- contact customer care more than 35 times and spent average of 20 mins --totalling 700 mins

ALL INCLUSION MENTIONED IN VOUCHER WERE NOT THERE, EVEN WELCOME DRINK WERE NOT AVAILABLE.
& WHEN I CALLED MAKEMY TRIP CUSTMERCARE SHE TOLD THAT
IT NOT HER MISTAKE & START ARGUING & CUT THE PHONE CALL.
DONT KNOW WHY THOSE PEOPLE WERE DOING LIKE THIS.
IT SEEMS TAKE AFTER PAYING THE MONEY YOUR VALUE WILL BE

One honest advice to anyone planning a trip through make my trip, please don't even consider it! This is the first time I am actually writing a review on the net, but I am determined to do so cos of the way my holiday plans were screwed up by these people! They seem to be pocketing a lot of our money by compromising on quality standards. Inspire of making it very clear to them right at the beginning that we would like to be put up in 4 star hotels, on our trip to Kashmir, they put us in lousy, stinking rooms! If we are paying for a room@ 6000 per day, we are put in a room@ 2500 or so! So, we actually pay much more for rooms and even flight tickets. Our family of 4 coughed up more than 2 lacs for a 7 day trip to Kashmir, whereas our friends had a pleasurable trip for half the cost! Their staff is also pathetic. Least interested in even listening to our grievances! I wonder if any of their staff ever goes through these reviews to better their service! Readers, please avoid planning through" make my trip". They actually " damage" your trip!
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have been calling for days. Firstly, they take ages and ages to get you actually talking to someone. Secondly, mine was a booking made in the US so they told me they'd have to get the US office to call me, which was never processed. I have been calling them for a week to get simple information and no response. Absolutely not recommended by me.
Booked thru MMT for Himachal tour of 7 nights and cab. Paid 60k for hotels above 3 stars. Given hotel Heritage village resort@ Manali. Actuaaly the hotel is 18km before Manali. Also allotted Hotel Siddharth@ Shimla, a two star hotel. When I saw Tarriff plan of hotel Siddharth, I was shocked. The room allotted me was of Rs. 2600 per day. They charged 17k for cab. And more than 6k per day for rooms. And allotted me a room of 2600.
Horrible, I would not recommend to anybody. I don't even feel like to give one star. Unfurtunately there is no negative star.
Very bad experience with make my trip. I had to cancel my flight because of my surgery and even after waiting for more than a month I haven't got my refund.So please think twice before booking with them. They will either disconnect or keep you on hold so this is the response you get. They don't deserve the rating 1 it should be 0.
IT WAS VERY TERRIFIC HOLIDAYS IN MY LIFE. I HAD BOOKED HOLIDAY PACKAGE WITH MMT 3N/4D AT SRINAGAR. BOOKING IN1403B6S*******.AS WE REACHED SRINAGAR TWO TRANSPORT GROUPS ARRIVED CLAIMING THAT THEY ARE REAL REPS OF MMT AND STARTED FIGHTING EACH OTHER. THE PACKAGE WAS INCLUSIVE OF BREAKFAST AND DINNER. HOWEVER THE TEAM NEVER INTIMATED US IT IS PURE VEG AND LIMITED QTY FOOD ONLY WILL BE SERVED. HOTEL ROOMS WERE FILTHY NOT AT ALL STAR RATING THEY DISPLAYED. AT PAHALGAM INITIALLY THEY BOOKED IN SOME HOTEL AND THAT HOTEL IS NOT EXISTS. AND THEY MADE US TO STAY IN FILTHY LODGE, THERE NO RESTAURANT WAS AVAILABLE. AND FOR MEALS WE HAVE TO DEPEND SOME OTHER RESTAURANT AND THEY WERE ASKED FOR MONEY FOR THE DINNER EVEN THOUGH IT WAS INCLUDED IN OUR PACKAGE. EVEN THOUGH I REPEATEDLY CONTACTED MMT REPS NOBODY RESPONDED PROPERLY AND RESPONDING TO OUR PROBLEMS. FINAL DAY WE DECIDED TO STAY OUTSIDE SOME OTHER HOTEL AT SRINAGEAR PAYING MONEY FROM OUR POCKET. MEMORIES ARE UNLIMITED BUT IT WAS VERY HORRIBLE AND DISASTROUS
This company was the biggest waste of time and money! DO NOT USE THEM- I made a detailed itinerary of the places I wanted to go and when, so they didn't have to do much but they still managed to mess our trip up! They wasted our time by putting us places we didn't want to go to and took away places that we did want to go to. They gave us a driver that had no idea where he was going(although he tried his best)- the company should've provided him with a GPS or given us someone who knew where they were going! We spent most of the time on the road due to their poor planning!
When I went to their office to complain, I asked them if they had any standard for customer satisfaction- the "manager, " Hardeep Singh Chauhan replied by saying "Kind of"- Would you use a company who "kind of" wants to make their customers happy? I sure don't! On top of that, Mr. Chauhan and the rest of the Vadodara staff did not seem to care about our concerns what so ever and was even so rude by talking over me the whole time I was trying to voice my complaints! TERRIBLE COMPANY, TERRIBLE SERVICE! They have absolutely NO concept of customer satisfaction.
First time i booked my ticket, no bording point mentioned, not valid phone number. What a joke this biggest private company has no direct customer care support! If you fill complain, it will take atleast 3 days, within that you can not query again. Now they will charge money if i fill refund form, but for what? Now i am not able to make another booking because of holy. This holy $#*!
Answer: I had a tough time getting back my refund as flight was cancelled. Flight cancellation hassle was due to airline which was a different story, but they surely did not help in refund. Finally got refund after 4 months. Cant comment on other aspects but getting Refund from them was painful and difficult, to say the least.

Answer: It is better you raise a request through make my trip website if you had any recent booking with them. Simply log on to their website - go to my trip section and then select the booking id and press on need help/connect. You can also write at [email protected]. They do connect pretty fast.
