Disappointed
December 11, 2020

If you don't pay for at least 1 yahoo subscription, forget about receiving assistance if you encounter a problem or need an information upgrade. I have been using my yahoo email for years and now that I need to update my info due to a change of my phone number, yahoo will not move forward with the upgrade unless I pay for at least 1 yahoo subscription. I am beyond disappointed and years of trust have been shattered In 4 minutes.

Yahoo just wants money
November 30, 2020

Yahoo hass started a thing of blocking access to your e-mail for 15 seconds if you are running an ad blocker. TO stop this you have to either allow ads or pay for a premium service. I can live with that HOWEVER if you are running an ad blocker you also can not clear your spam folder OR block e-mails!
I remember when yahoo was a great service but not any more. Even though it is a lot of work instead of doing what they want I will I will set up email with a different provider and just let this one eat up space on their server collecting spam and junl mail

One day i decided to log into my account from my phone can't sign in because of the verification. Then where it shows you an alternate email to verify but it gives me an email that's not even mine. Google couldn't prove my own email is mine same as yahoo. This is unbelievable and there is nothing more i can do. I feel like they just decide to say oh my own account doesn't belong to me because of suspicious activity. I don't understand all i use my yahoo mail is on my phone because i work alot and now i cant do anything about it they cant do anything about it either I'm so pissed off right now.

I have been with Yahoo! Mail since the beginning of time, or so it seems. My first account was free, and I was satisfied with it; then I paid a small subscription (<$20) annually and still was satisfied with it. Now, I am a Pro mail member. I do not object to paying the Pro Mail subscription, as I am still satisfied with it. That is, as long as I, not Yahoo!, decide which emails belong in the Spam folder. I pay for the email service, and you have NO right to direct all emails originating from The American Independent Party, The American Freedom Party, Reform, the NRSC, President Trump, etc.to Spam or Junk. You also have NO right to decide it is ok for me to receive all emails related to the Democratic Party and fake news. Your service is to provide an email platform, not force your political preference on your clients. I am extremely disappointed with Yahoo! And feel betrayed. What happened to Freedom of Choice, my Choice, to decide which party I want to support?

I do not subscribe to Mail Pro but receive many times a day an ad from Yahoo telling me I should remove an ad blocker I have had installed professionally for years. Yahoo's message is a pop up that they say will continue to come until I removed my ad blocker and get this: They want me to do that so I can subscribe to their service for $3.49 a month. If I do not, Yahoo threatens to keep sending the popups until I do their bidding.

Yahoo doesn't want you!
November 22, 2020

I see a lot of Yahoo reviewers just like me, we've had Yahoo mail for over 20 years, since back when they were good. Now they are doing everything they can to make people with free email accounts either pay up or leave. That is why Yahoo email breaks in a different way every other week, it's just part of the plan. My account has become nearly useless in the last 6 months. Too bad I can't give Yahoo a rating of zero stars.

Good Service Turned Toxic
November 21, 2020

I've been a Yahoo subscriber for almost 20 years, I was happy until they went to the dark side.
Among the worst customer service you'll EVER experience.
Very intrusive advertising.
Yahoo no longer has email as its primary purpose, it's more like a bulletin board of cluttered garbage.
Spam protection is very poor.
Looking for decent, free email? I've found a few out there, I'm going to gmail because I want simple, uncluttered, safe email with good quality service.
BooHoo yahoo - Good riddance!

Horrible
October 31, 2020

Terrible service there was no way to update your information if you do not log into your account for 3 weeks to 4 weeks they will lock you out of it and opt for you to have a security code sent to your last number on file if you happen to change your phone number or get a new phone then your permanently locked out of your Yahoo account because there is no option for them to update your information and you will be locked out of your banking as well

I feel sad because I see so many bad review rate to Yahoo Mail. I using Yahoo Mail about more than 10 years until now. Basically this mail provider never disappoint me. I feel safe with the mail protection. I satisfied with the email platform and structure. Sure Google mail is a strong competitor to him, but Yahoo Mail also not bad as the rating I feel.

Fake news
October 7, 2020

I just saw an article from Yahoo News about Donald Trump Jr. Wanting to stage an intervention with his dad. Have you no shame? No wonder Google ate you apart even though they are just as liberal. You have lost so much market share that you now are no longer a search engine but a leftist news source. We all now say "Google it" if we don't know something. We NEVER say "Yahoo it". You are a bunch of clowns that have lost the focus of your mission statement.

Dreadful upgrade
October 4, 2020

Yahoo mail is so unpleasant to use since the recent upgrade. Apart from the fact that it takes longer to navigate my mail, I can no longer forward attachments. Also, when I select the forward key, the address bar is now populated with the email address of the sender.

Propaganda at it's worst
September 28, 2020

At least when yahoo "allowed" comments to be written following its articles some of the truth actually got out. NOW, yahoo is an indoctrination machine for the far left Nazis, police haters, antifa and the democrat party. There is the First Amendment and then there is lying, under the guise of freedom of speech. Yahoo says it wants to make a safe environment for its readers and therefore closed the ability of people to voice their concerns. WHAT? Am I to be assaulted "online" because another party disagrees with my position? What became of their (yahoo's) view of freedom of speech? The real reason yahoo closed down its comments section is to squelch the truth from getting out. Isn't it funny how it happened while getting close to the general election? Yahoo is afraid of the truth. Don't feel bad, yahoo... Goebbels would be very proud of you...

I do not understand a company that repeatedly destroys its own product to the point that it just doesn't work any more. It is soooooo aggravating to want to check your emails and the service simply refuses to load. I am dumping my email account I've had for 25 years now because I just can't stand the amount of frustration that goes into just wanting to check items in my inbox. Sad.
