STAY AWAY!
August 30, 2020

Ordered a "bargain" subscription from them. 2 issues came then stopped. Tried to contact them by email and the only response was to be put on their mailing list to get numerous offers to subscribe for other "bargains." If you don't want to throw your money away, stay with the publisher! I appeealed to "Time" mag and they have no record of my subscription!

I've literally been a person who's read your magazine and loved it since I was 10 years old. As of the past 8 years I've noticed a complete downhill turn of your magazine because it's always dark, evil connotations and just didn't look like it was about fashion any longer and has all this odd esoteric illuminati symbols all the time. I will never buy your magazine again because you put that criminal, liar, horrible person Dr. Fauci on the cover of your magazine. Huge mistake because this man should be in prison for all the disgusting lies he's been telling people since HIV came out in the 80's and all the insurmountable lies he's told over and over again I've lost count he's lied so much. He literally ruined careers of people who had found cures for HIV, yet this loser only cared about fame and money and this 80 year old creepy jerk also has had this position since Reagan stupidly hired this sick, narcissistic, racist jerk. I've got many Drs, nurses, biologists etc., that all know him personally and so many things to warn Trump about this guy and how he should have been fired years ago. They all are going to file lawsuits against him and during discovery, the world will finally see this sick bastard for exactly what he is. A criminal, a pathological liar. The list again is endless... It's over. You apparently don't care about how you come across at all to the public. This issue of acting as if the world likes this guy is a sick joke. So because I've again noticed the incredibly awful downfall of your magazine. He's saved zero lives. He's only worried about making money from a disgusting vaccine that will ruin people's lives. This vaccine will change people's DNA and also chip people like some kind of dog. This was never and still isn't a vaccine that this creepy bastard who again, once all is, 100% out in the open about Him, Birk, Redfield and Collins, they'll all have their medical licenses stripped away from then and along with some clown who came from a billionaire family, Bill Gates, why is some tech nerd suddenly going around the world stating that 7 billion people need to be vaccinated, meanwhile this $#*! isn't a Dr., or any kind of scientist. And his benevolence is crap. He's just isn't this hero that the garbage mainstream media is making him out to be. Some kind of hero. He ruined Dr. Judy Mikovits career who worked with him for over 20 years. Look at her interviews you can find all over YouTube and the book she wrote an incredible book called "Plague of Corruption "... she'll describe or outright tell people what he did to her to ruin her career because she refused to do unethical things he demanded she do or, because of all, unfortunately he slipped under the radar, he's still at the White House and it seems that president Trump is finally and hopefully listening to the Dr's and nurses who have all written him and explained to him about how terrible of a person he is and it gave me hope that since I heard Fauci state that Trump hasn't talked to him in 2 months. This gives me hope that a fantastic Dr. That he is listening to these amazing Dr's that are all telling the truth. Trump is taking Hydroxychloriquine because one of the Dr's who wrote to him advised him that he had a 98.9% success and recovery rate of his using Hydroxychloriquine, Azythromycine and zinc. It costs only $20 dollars and what did Fauci state the minute her heard that Trump was taking it. He said that this 75 year old drug that's been incredibly effective to all patients per ALL Dr's who tell the truth. Fauci says this bs that was done over 75 years ago. Testing via placebo effect, test trials, peer review studies. He had done none of this at all for any vaccines via the CDC, etc... They've paid off BILLIONS for all these vaccine injuries, autism being the worst and on the rise. How did vaccines go from 6 vaccines to 75 since 1989... Get real... this is more than proof that this has been the main cause of autism because Big Pharma is just like the mob. All they want is people sick as hell to keep making money. Fauci was a horrible choice for a cover and you better believe I'm not the only person feels this way. Worst mistake ever. While you're at it, put Charles Manson, Jeffrey Dahlmer and all these other murdering trashy people on your covers because you have Atlanta actual serial killer on the cover now. He's a low life. He's a liar. He's going to get $350 billion dollars from this disgusting vaccine they're trying to mandate. So I'll never, ever, ever buy your magazine that I've loved since I was a teenager in the late 90's... it's over now. Again your agendas, your insane issues will never come into fruition because there are more of us than all of you NWO garbage. Its just over. The entire world knows what's going on... Believe me, not even that made up BLM crap didn't work, this Corona crap isn't working. It's just over... These people are sickening, old as diet and they'll all be dead soon enough. Fauci =POS... never again. You just $#*!ed up your magazine worse than ever. It was already teetering on the edge. Now it's just OVER...]p)

Fought for a Refund- Rip Off Company
July 4, 2020

This company profits from unethical business practices. Ordered subscriptions I never received and customer service is nonexistent. It wasn't until I wrote a poor public review that they contacted me and gave me my money back. At that time, they told me they have no way to follow-up with the subscriptions once they are placed. So if you choose to believe them, you are crossing your fingers when you order with magazines.com. Too many similar stories to be coincidence. They no longer have a bbb rating and my review was removed.

Used to be a good company
May 4, 2020

I agree with the former negative review! This company was fairly good until Merideth took over! Right after the Merideth company took over the site, i could not access any page that would tell me how long my subscription was for. Magazines.com used to have this page available. Then the page that SORT of showed my subscriptions was totally dis organized and i could not get an answer from customer service except that another company took over! NOW i cannot see anything about my account at all except that every time i try, i'm told that i'm already signed in!
Looks like now i'm going to have to tell PayPal to block any payments to Magazines.com! And by the way there is no PayPal option to pay anymore either! Buy your magazines somewhere else!

Crooks
April 21, 2020

I ordered a subscribtion to magazine but never received it. This place took my money and sent the free magazine they were giving away. I informed them that I never got my magazine, they told me that I would receive my magazine April 1. When I didn't receive it then, they told me to contact the magazine that I ordered when I ordered from them. Magazine.com is a rip off. Beware...

Not the good company they used to be
April 18, 2020

Used to regularly get coupons and have 50% through Rakuten. Since new owner Meredith took over they've gone down the toilet. They also ruined their website, as it is now hard to navigate. Lack of coupons and low Rakuten %.

New owners
January 31, 2020

This company used to be wonderful. They would send out coupons on my birthday and on other occasions. I could go to my account and check if I wanted to have auto-renewal or not. Now, all that has changed with new owners who I believe is Meredith.,. Such a disappointment. I don't dare order any longer.

Ordered a magazine for my son and never received it. Got an email from magazine.com saying to email them at a help address if magazine was not received. Did that but got no answer. Tried their other email addresses with no response. They are however very good at sending spam emails several times a week.

Can't process renewal correctly
December 26, 2019

Every renewal for me has been a problem. They treat a renewal as a new subscription which means you get duplicate copies as your old subscription ends and your new subscription starts. And the renewal ends early. Very disappointed.

I ordered four separate magazine subscriptions in September and have only received one of them, "Coincidentally" it was the cheapest one. Two of my subscriptions almost automatically renewed before I even have received them! Trash

Waste of money and time
December 21, 2018

Placed an order in the beginning of September that was suppose to be a Christmas gift... of course they did not arrive in time. Customer service is ZERO help while they give you the run around of upto 12 weeks for delivery even though it has been way over 12 weeks--ZERO follow through with their supplier to find out where this subscription is or when it will be delivered, if ever. You are better off to order direct from supplier (who will stand behind their service) for just a couple dollars more- this price is WELL worth not having the poor service and aggravation from magazine.com. I will never again.

Ive been using Magazines.com for many years and have never had a problem. The prices are low and the service is very good. Other reviewers have complained about the auto renewal of subscriptions. I recommend that as soon as you place an order, go directly into your list of magazine subscriptions and turn off the auto renewal for your magazine. If you forget to do this, Magazines.com also emails you about a month before the subscription will be renewed so you can change/cancel it if you want. Also, Magazines.com sends emails with specials, discounts and coupons $5 - $7 off.

Deceptive Renewal Service
January 12, 2018

When you place an order they sign you up to have your subscription automatically renewed without telling you. When they renew the subscription they send you no notice they are going to do this until AFTER they have renewed it. If you try to turn off your automatic renewals, they will not turn off the current renewal, they will only turn off next year's renewals. This is a very shady way of doing business. Also, if you call you are put on hold for at least 15 minutes before they will answer. When they do answer, they try to sell you more subscriptions!

I tried this service twice. The first time, after many weeks, I got a letter saying "for some reason that we won't explain, your subscription couldn't be processed." So I tried again, this time with a different airline's miles. This time, I called after the magazines didn't arrive during their extremely long 3 month waiting period. When I called, they again said that they couldn't apply my Frontier miles to the magazines. But they did not bother to inform me at all and they did not offer any solution whatsoever to repair. These folks are a scam! Put them out of business!

magazines.com offers tons of magazine subscriptions. Some priced quite inexpensively and some not. It definitely pays to look at the prices here (they often sell the 'over prints' from the publishers). The magazines are the originals and getting them for 25% - 50% off list price is the way to go!

I have been buying for myself, family, and friends for years and they have always delivered/renewed. Dependable and good service.

**As of 12/2014 they have been part of the ebates.com money rebate program for years giving anywhere between 20% and 40% of your purchase price back to you in an ebates check!

Cons: 1) Some of the magazines are auto-renew only. It is made clear but it is still a pain to change it to manual renewal only. It can be done but you have to know how!
2) Cancelling a subscription must be done via phone/customer service rep or email rep. They will cancel it, but you have to make the effort to do it.

Call me old-fashioned but I still subscribe to Cosmo, Elle and US Weekly, and I also like to get friends magazine subscriptions for presents (it feels like a bit of a treat!). I usually get my magazine subscription either from my frequent flyer miles or through Magazines.com.
