I have very high standards. I am very particular and highly critical. I ordered a custom Steelcase Leap Chair V2. The chair is flawless. There is absolutely no indication that this chair is not brand new. Not a scratch... Not a blemish. I do not ordinarily take the time to leave good reviews... but I could not be happier with this purchase! Highly recommend!
Madison Seating gets five stars from me for their follow-up, credibility, and excellent customer service even though my experience with the company was not without some issues. I am a college professor, working from home since the start of the pandemic, and I decided to finally buy a good office chair. Madison Seating's prices were good, and they had the chair I wanted.
I ordered the Caper Multifunction Chair by Herman Miller, a chair I had loved from an office in a previous job. When I initially did not receive a tracking number for my Herman Miller chair purchase, I emailed my concern, and Madison Seating's customer service got back to me immediately. That day!
My chair did arrive, and it looked beautiful - yes, it was an "open box," but it looked pretty much new. However, the tilt tension mechanism on the was completely nonfunctional. Serious bummer.
I did my own research in trying to rectify it before contacting Madison Seating with the information that the chair was irrevocably broken. Again, I got an immediate response. Customer service reviewed a video I supplied of the broken chair and got back to me within two days. Imagine my surprise when Madison Seating offered to replace the chair! They are sending me a new chair!
All in all, while this was not a completely smooth experience - and what is these days? - I believe Madison Seating did all that could be done to assure my satisfaction as their customer.
With the time many of us spend at our desks these days, having comfortable, ergonomic, and reliable seating is more important than ever. Being in the education profession, though, I did not have the money to be able to afford such a great chair. Madison Seating provides the very best office chairs at the best prices anywhere. Ordered Herman Miller Aeron chair in Mid May of 2021, received order email stating it would ship in 10-14 business days and an email would be sent with shipping details or if delayed an email stating so since we are in COVID season. Inquired again after that date range went by, and received a rude response to check for updates on the website - more COVID delay statements. Website had nothing specific other than the COVID delay statement. Another check, and more rude responses via email. After over a month and a half I sent another email fully expecting the same response and was then told they never even had the item in stock when or since I ordered it and didn't know if they would anytime soon if ever! But you can still today go and order it from them! Asked me if I wanted something different? Are you kidding me? I shouldn't have been able to order it if out of stock, or if I could be told up front the truth. Not this crazy "read the website" which doesn't have any updated information and to be treated like trash! Cancelled my order and moved on, but beware out there! This company is NOT where you want to spend your money at. So dishonest it's unbelievable! Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. I can't even imagine how you would be treated after they get your money... If there was a negative star option, this company would get it!

The chair was an Aeron chair from Herman Miller and upon seeing it in person, I can say it was well portrayed on their website. I was completely satisfied with my purchase from the first click to their website until the chair arrived at my apartment.
This thrilling tale does not end there however. My chair was damaged. And it was damage that clearly happened during transit. I did not, and do not, hold Madison Seating responsible for this. Especially these days, we all rely on different services to transport and deliver our goods safely. Things get damaged as they travel, it is bound to happen at times, and I was unfortunate to end up on the receiving end this particular time. I was sincerely disappointed. That being said, what was important to me was how Madison Seating would respond. I emailed the address given to me in the shipping notice email on Saturday. First thing Monday morning I had already received a response. After a few reply emails and Madison Seating's prompt responses (from real people), my issue had been resolved and a new chair was on its way. It took less than a day for the company to respond, react, and work with me to find a solution.
I look forward to receiving my new chair, and I also look forward to purchasing from Madison Seating again.

Just writing to say madisonseating.com provided me with my purchased Leap Chair V2 as soon as possible. Great wheels, sleek base and the fabric was grade A and clean. They also have fantastic customer service who email promptly and address whatever issues may be had. I had a slight issue with a chair cylinder and they very hastily sent me a new one. I look forward to recommending these guys to any one in need of a relatively new chair in mint condition.
I recently ordered an office chair from Madison Seating. The chair was sent promptly, and was packaged well. Unfortunately, the chair had a small defect (the raise/lower hydraulics were stuck). I got in touch with the company's customer service; they sent me a couple of suggested remedies, and when those didn't do the trick, they decided to send me a replacement item. Really appreciate their responsiveness and their willingness to fix the situation.

I bought two Steelcase Leap 2 chairs for a new home office. The website was easy to navigate and I got a great deal. I ordered and received the chairs in about 2 1/2 weeks, slightly longer than advertised but reasonable. We received the chairs via FedEx, packaged very well. The chairs were exactly as described on the website, very comfortable... I was very happy.
Unfortunately, one was damaged in shipment. I corresponded with customer service which took a few days to get a response (prob for Covid-reasons). When I did hear back though, customer service was very helpful and agreed to send a replacement. The company was very professional and helpful. I would definitely buy from Madison Seating again.

My order with Madison was easy as I was offered a new replacement chair when the one that was delivered was damaged. They set expectations about the delivery and informed about the progress of the shipment. But when the shipper broke my chairs and I told Madison, they had a solution for me within one business day. It's an amazing chair, and when I had issues with it, they were fast, courteous, and able to solve my problem in record time.

I purchased a Haworth Improv HE chair from Madison seating because they had the most competitive pricing. The chair shipped quickly and the company kept us informed throughout the process. The chair arrived quickly. The appearance was in perfect condition but unfortunately, it did not function properly. I notified customer service and they quickly responded by offering to send a replacement at no further cost if I posted a review. We are appreciative of their accommodating customer service and would order from them again.

I ordered a chair with upgraded casters that were advertised on their website as "Deep carpet". However, the casters I received were not rated for high-pile rugs and carpets by the manufacturer and do not work on deep carpet.

I ordered a Steelcase Leap V2 office chair, which was delivered within 3 days of ordering (with free shipping, no less), which I thought was pretty impressive. I quickly discovered that there was an issue with the chair, so I reached out to customer service, and they immediately offered either a partial refund or an entire chair replacement – I didn't even have to ask!

I recently ordered an office chair through Madison Seating. As I searched different websites, I found their pricing to be extremely competitive. Once I ordered, I was updated regularly by email. The chair arrived, but FedEx during the shipment had beat up the box pretty badly affecting the chair. I took pictures and contacted service. They responded quickly and offered a great solution. I bought a Steelecase chair from Madison Seating at a very good price. Even when it arrived well packed, it came with a part broken. I contacted their customer service by email, they answered me immediately. I sent them a picture of the chair with the defect, and they offered either to send me a new chair, or refund me. Very good cusmer service, makes the company turstworthy.
Last December (2020), I purchased from Madison Seating a "Leap V2" chair (manufactured by Steelcase). The chair was purchased online and delivered to my apartment in New York City, two weeks later. Initially, the chair appeared in good condition (clean and easy to assemble). Unfortunately, however, as soon as the chair was assembled, I noticed that one of the chair's structural joints was broken: on the left-side of the chair, the plastic joint where a metal screw connects the actual seat to the back-rest was "snapped" (see attached photograph). I reached-out to Madison Seating's sales and customer support teams by e-mail, and one their members (Annie) immediately replied to me, offering to send me a replacement chair at no cost (and offering me to keep the broken chair). Given the relatively high cost of this chair (and the logistical hurdles that would have been involved with returning such a large item by any carrier), I was very relieved to receive such offer. This is great customer service (prompt reply and honest business policies). I look forward to receive the new chair (and then update this review accordingly).
Ordered a supposedly in stock chair at the beginning of December, with their site and order confirmation saying in stock items should ship in 10-14 days.
By the start of January I had received zero communication from the company as to possible delays or any status on the order. I had to email them asking where the order was, and their response was it will be delivered mid to late January, despite specifically trying to order an in stock item.
Filed a BBB complaint about the misleading advertising and poor communication. Their response to this was to outright cancel the order in retaliation.
Save your money, time, and energy. Ordering from this company is a gamble that you'll ever actually receive your items, and if you do, it'll probably be next quarter.

We offered to pick up the chair at our expense and issue a full refund as we are now sold out of the blue Aeron chair. We did not intentionally ship you an incorrect color chair. Mistakes happen. This was an honest mistake done by a packer, probably due to the holiday rush. The color black and blue are hard to discern on a mesh chair. Please return the chair at this point as your reaction to the error has been a tad excessive.

The first order was processed successfully with the payment you provided and shipped in a timely manner. You were emailed a confirmation of this order along with an order number assigned for that transaction. On the second order you attempted to place you provided a new email address and an invalid credit card number. The order was flagged as a potentially fraudulent transaction and subsequently canceled. Again, an email confirmation with a DIFFERENT order number was emailed to you along with a notification indicating there was an issue with the payment provided. This buyer received the correct casters per her request. The casters will only work on commercial grade carpet. We advised the buyer that she would need to buy a mat if the chair was being used on deep plush carpets or rugs.
