We were told (by another Lyft driver) that if we use such and such promo code when we are new to signing up that we may receive a free Lyft ride. Okay great, that was a lie. I've never used Lyft and that sh** did not work, but whatever, we need the ride and I get it anyway (wasn't too much money). It was better compared to Uber at the time. Well we get this guy named William in a 2019 Red Toyota Yaris. Perfect, but no, it wasn't. This other group comes out of where we are leaving from, and I hear them say look out for a 2019 red Toyota Yaris. Well f*** me then. Dude pulls up and I open the door first, I said you know you claimed two different rides from here?! He said oh. Fuc**** "Oh". So this Taylor bit** gets the ride and I get CHARGED FOR THE RIDE AND CANCELATION FEE! LIKE IT WAS MY FAULT THE DUDE CLAIMED TWO (1+1=2) *no common core here* LYFT RIDES. I'm disputing the charge on my credit card and I will never use Lyft again. If that's how a company treats their customers that MADE THEM, I don't want it. I got legs. I'll walk my a** somewhere. They got buses, I'll pay three dollars to get on some dirty a** bus. I got extra money, I'll pay Uber to come get my a**. All just to avoid getting sh** on by Lyft ever again.

Thanks, don't come back.

Happy New Year!

Last night was New Year's Eve. We caught a lyft to our concert so we wouldn't be drinking and driving. Paid $24.74 which was responsible. After New Year's I went to select someone to take us home and the price had jumped to over $96. They should feel ashamed of themselves for doing that to people. I've deleted the app and will never use it again. People trying to do the right thing shouldn't be gouged like that. I understand bumping the price but not almost four times. Horrible company and I hope they go out of business.

Do not use Lyft
December 23, 2019

Do not use Lyft.

Would give zero. The company itself is cheap and doesn't treat their drivers right. Dropped multiple drivers with fake excuses however the hub tells the truth and doesn't bullsh*t. So forget Lyft. Trust me, do NOT drive for them.

They ripped me off of what could've been$700 because they termed my account with false information even Denver hub confirmed was false. It's all a scam. And I even drove FIVE hours and made $30 during 'busy hours'. Maybe Lyft is crashing.

Ruined Christmas
December 20, 2019

Lyft has no respect for people earning a living with their company. I was driving during a winter storm in St Louis on Sunday and got all passengers to their destination safely. I have put miles and time into Lyft and they deactivated me like yesterday's trash. I was a 5 star driver. I can't even change where to send my remaining money I have left in my account. Everybody I spoke with changed their answer on why my account was deactivated. They say do to safety reason they can't tell me about. I can't even defend myself against this horrible situation during Christmas. My children was depending on me now there will be nothing under the tree. People lie for refunds everyday. People lie for refunds everyday.

Review your charges
December 16, 2019

I clicked on a ride that aside one price but when I reviewed it, it charged me almost double! Contacting left does nothing. They will not reimburse. Poor costumer service. My advice is screen shot each ride at purchase price as proof and go to your bank because Lyft company are scum.

Lyft is the worst
December 13, 2019

Lyfts customer service is the worst. I took a ride from the airport to my house, the app quoted me $34, when I was dropped off the text said it was $59. After many emails with their customer service they said I was a liar and there was nothing I could do. I disputed with Bank of America and they said if I can't produce a receipt saying it should have been $34 then I loose the dispute as well. How does this system work? No recourse for me? They could charge me $10,000 and if I don't have a receipt I loose. Makes no sense and I have no way of fixing the problem. So hopefully more people stop using this fraudulent service so they will pay in a different way. I will not use them ever again. As well as Bank of America credit card, I have never disputed a transaction with the for 20 years and they didn't help me at all on this dispute. So that card is being put away, maybe even tore up.

Horrible experience
December 1, 2019

Horrible experience! I set up a remote pickup of my mother and sister and Lyft sent a driver than COULDN'T SPEAK OR UNDERSTAND ENGLISH! My mother is 86! I tried to communicate with him and he just said nothing! After picking up them he got lost and drive around in circles and then made them get out of the car! This was Thanksgiving! I had to call 911 and have the police pick them up and take them home! I complained to Lyft and they didn't even credit me the full amount they charged me! They just send me canned I'm sorry emails. This is a horrible company and I will never use them again! They don't care about the rider at all and they don't have a culture of trying to make thinks right like Nordstrom. Beware!

Dangerous drivers
November 29, 2019

Almost got ran over by a lyft driver! If you ever get a driver named Jahangir with license plate BZJH 220 in Toronto, canada. BEWARE! He is a dangerous driver and aggressive!

I hit his side window to warn him and then he gets out of his car and assaults me. Literally punched me in my face! A grown man hitting a woman! This company has horrible drivers and even worse customer service. When I called to report about the incident they handled it so poorly. The passenger in the back seat was shocked and even cancelled her ride.

Unsafe
November 18, 2019

My friend called a Lyft for me last night (November 16th at 3:35am) for me to be brought to Pearson Airport. The driver seemed to be friendly but during the ride, he was being overly friendly and curious towards me, he started asking me all these personal questions and when we arrived he started asking me if he could come visit me one time or get to know me better and he asked for my number too. I was too anxious to refuse because I was scared he might do something to me so I gave him a fake number just so I could get away faster. He then began hugging me more than once and saying how beautiful he thought I was. This is not what I expected to happen from Lyft, and I am very disappointed in this service. Fortunately, the driver did no physical harm me, but looking at the situation I was in, anything could have easily happened and my safety was most certainly in danger since not only was it very late at night and nobody was around, but also the driver's behavior was unacceptable.

Lyft not recommended. Simple 3 block trip to train station. Driver insists on wrong far away train station. When i point out wrong train station driver threatens to call police when i become insistent. Catches fare for his pay. Now doubles back to correct train station ( i am charged for this trip as well). I miss train and have to make a second costly trip to Fort Lauderdale Airport to catch flight ( $ 70 extra fare) Actually a very nice driver and good trip.
I write Lyft and follow through thoroughly.
First customer service answer. "Be reasurred on your next trip with Lyft we will not assign that driver to you". Follow through What of extra needless cost? Customer service answer... A whole $ 3 refund on the extra $ 70 trip.
Needless to say the Lyft app is removed from my phone.
The joke is when you ask for cancellation of lyft account there is a mandatory 60 day time period for deactivation
Final joke - customer service survey - of course we did well please rate our wonderful level of service

Really..
October 14, 2019

Had to cancel 3 different lyft rides from very recognizable addresses because we were pinged like 4 miles away from where we were. Called the drivers rach time right away to let them know that wasnt the correct location and give them the address to where we actually were and they didn't care. 20 dollars in cancelled rides and 6 miles later finally got a driver who could take us home. Would recommend ANY other kind of public transportation over lyft in the future

I had a phone that was left in the back of the car and as soon as I walked in the door of my home realized that while I could look out the window and still see the driver tearing down the street I tried to comedian Ali call him it was not answered message Tim messages went unanswered so I emails Lyft and customer service did email me back and ensure that they would look into the problem and I realized my phone was gone within one or two minutes if the driver had simply answered his phone or return my message I would have got my phone back he stole my phone because he told them finally two days later after they claim to have made first contact with him which was ridiculous that it took that long and he said that he claimed he couldn't find my stump phone so he he either stole it or the next passes the guy there but they didn't do any type of diligence investigation into it was never given any kind of satisfaction for that you cannot get in touch with a person for any kind of customer service issues so their customer service is basically non-existent then tonight I was requesting a ride from of reluctantly and after 37 minutes of waiting and being told that the driver was 6 7 minutes away 6 minutes 7 Minutes 6 minutes 7 minutes and the driver when trying to be contacted would not answer text nor phone calls and then I canceled the ride through the app and was still charged $5 with PayPal I left some very very nice messages for those people and they did refund my PayPal account $5 but I still do not trust him will never use them again they can suck my $#*! they're terrible they're they're thieves and they're f****** pieces of garbage I'm sorry that I sugar-coated it so much I'll try not to do that again

I tried every avenue to let Lyft know that a driver put me in danger. They refused to reimburse me. They ignored my reviews. I will now dispute with my bank because no woman should feel vialated or scared during her ride home and have Lyft ignore it.
I was a 5 year customer but because of this I have deleted the Lyft app and will only Uber in the future. When you no longer care about your customers, I no longer care to support your business.

I am so over this company. I use lyft daily and spend between $2,500 - $3,000 on lyft each year. I recently was picked up from the airport and my driver decided to make a last minute turn into the 405 literally doubling the length of my trip because I live in Venice. So, my 8 mile trip turned into 16... now here is the kicker - they charged me $43! That's literally double the highest fare I have ever paid from the airport- a trip I take twice a month. I reported it to lyft employees and a lyft supervisor, which must be a computer, because they assure me that I was charged correctly and refuse to give a refund. I even showed them my last 10 trips to the airport to prove why this is so wrong. Nothing.

Now I will tell my sisters story. She ordered a lyft to pick her up at 5 am the night before because she was flying out to Sweden. The dude showed up 30 minutes late and was yelling. She put her things in the back seat and went to put her things in the trunk and the guy took off with the passenger door open and her purse with passport and backpack. She called the police, but Lyft refused to give them the license plate without a court order. My sister called our friend who has a fast car, grabbed my moms phone, and tracked her phone which was in her purse. They followed the man all the way to the border of Mexico and when he finally pulled into a rest stop, they blocked him in and called the police. Local police arrested him and found out that he was intoxicated and driving WITHOUT A LICENSE. Best part. Lyft did absolutely nothing! Not one credit. Not one thing. I wish she brought it to a news outlet because this is way too dangerous to not be taken seriously. Please always take a picture of the license plate before getting in and be very aware.

Lyft - you should be ashamed. I don't like Uber, but I'm taking my $2,500 - $3,000 a year to them.

I use Lyft often and recently have had numerous drivers cancel rides when they realize that I'm heading somewhere far such as the airport. Riders get charged a fee for canceling rides due to the inconvenience to the driver. I have had numerous rides recently cancelled which inconvenienced me and left me with significantly longer waits. I think drivers should be penalized and riders should receive ride credits when drivers cancel on them.

I've been using Lyft for a good 2 years now. Going to and from the airport, events and other places I want to go but don't want to hassle with finding parking or walking through acres of parking lot after I've arrived. Love the convenience of being picked up and dropped of right at the front door and I've had such nice experiences with meeting the most kind and positive Lyft drivers. I've been around for a long time and am glad there is a service like this now. Sometimes I am afraid to go here or there because I'm concerned I'll get lost but with Lyft I no longer worry and just go! One more thing... ** If you want to sign up with coupon code JODI******* you can get up to $20 off your first ride. **

ZERO customer service. I got stuck at sna and needed a ride. I saw the promo code and thought great id try it. BAD MISTAKE. The promo code installed incorrectly. No way to change or cancel. No way to change or cancel the order. I GOT SCREWED. No customer contact number. The only way was email and ZERO response. As soon as they got my money, complete 180. Of course form letter responses and brush off. They could care less and the attitude to the customer is predatory. Ill go back to uber. NEVER AGAIN! These people are CROOKS!
