Its not helpful in anyway or form into my learning. With out I-Ready I would have so much more time to do my school work instead of being distracted by forced I-Ready work.

As a student, I can confirm I-Ready is a horrific learning program. Their lessons have been the same, low-quality garbage for years and doesn't show signs of improvement.

Overall, this is a pretty poorly made learning system. They do not have anyone test the questions, and therefore they are left vague and confusing. Or they wont explain it at all, and just expect you to know what they mean. Iready doesnt really teach people new things, just reteaches what they already know. As someone who was an advanced kid in grade 6 (and they could not fit me into a pre-algebra class) the way it learned what you needed to know was bad too.

What i actually needed to learn then was geometry, and it gave me basic addition to start out with. The dionostic can actually get hard, but afterward you are put into a boring, slow, forced, "learning session" filled with things you already know. And then, out of nowhere, it switches to something you've never heard of, and when you fail it twice, puts you back on the basic premise of something. So not only are there angry teachers and parents, but a confused kid, basically left with whiplash.

Another thing, just a nitpick though, is that they try to be "funny" or "relatable" they try to teach these side lessons of you being yourself. And well, if you are trying to be relatable about something you dont know, thats not being yourself (pointed at the developers) It worsens the slow feel of the learning. And, usually, in the lessons that are "games" or "compositions" usually the group who has a black, or asian (no Hispanic representation) supporting the stereotype that people of color are incapable of learning, and are extremely stupid.

Seriously, if you are an adult on this website, PLEASE consult your school board to not use this website. Sure, its cheap, but that doesnt mean itll do even a cheap job. It does no job. Even if kids come off as off-putting on this website- theres over 200 1-star reviews. Yes, some kids might not want to learn, but 200? Please, as an 8th grader who had to suffer through this hell, please take our word.

Without a shadow off a doubt I-ready is the worst learning website off all time. The website barely gives any incite on what your supposed to do and if you get the same answer that i ready gets they will count it $#*! wrong. But the diagnostics are the most atrocious thing this site has to offer, for starters the site try's to give you questions that are right for you but gives you an 9th grade question when your a 5th grader. Over all -99/100, you are better off doing something on khan academy instead

So I was doing math in verson on i-ready and i clicked every singe number on this hard math site and then after i typed in 3 and I got it wrong and then it told me to type 3 LIKE WHY I-READY SUCKS MAKE YOUR JUNK BETTER

Every time i close my chrome, it makes lets me keep going until i'm finished with the first part, but then tells me to log back in and i start over again. I'm surprised to learn it has mostly 1 star reviews and schools still us it.

So here I am writing a more respectful review. I-ready SHOULD NOT be a thing just purely of the lessons and the way the website is designed. Schools chose terrible websites for their students like this one. Just going into this website there are many red flags such as the diagnostic. For the diagnostic, the lessons are repetitive and annoying. The diagnostic makes you view all the controls again and again and again. Yes, it may be helpful if you forgot but there should be a skip button if you already know the controls. I feel like the diagnostic should be re-designed in a more comfortable way for students. That's all I have to say. Please fix. Thanks!

First of all, the diagnostic that you have to take is probably the only thing that I can say is not absolute dogwater about Iready. In the lessons, you have these people that try to be cool by wearing "trendy" clothes and saying things like "calculicious". I have to do 45 minutes a week and pass 75% of my lessons. Oh and also, if you get 2 (emphasis on the 2) questions wrong, you have to do it all over again!
this website is dumb

Sometimes the lessons are excessively long. You do about 9 lessons before u do the test its ridiculous. It takes about an hr to finish the first part of the lesson of doing the same thing over and over and i thinks its completely necessary and excessive. Do better

Waste of time and a piece@#$&. Made me stay up all night and have the worst headache ever. It is super slow. I could drive to china and back while waiting for a lesson to start.

100% on a teacher math lesson and it says i have to redo it WHAT THE HECK EVEN IS THIS APP why does it even exist

Even though you think that this will be a fun and easy way to learn. It is definitely NOT! It gives you childish lessons and when you do the lessons and answer the questions on the quiz it gives you the most dumb answer ever. The best possible choice is wrong. Do not let your school use this app. The lessons are boring and long. Also childish. Many people I know say this is not up to par with highschool and middle school. Hardly up there with 3-5. DO NOT USE THIS APP. VERY WASTEFUL AND NO USE FOR YOU OR ANYBODIES TIME!

It has taught me the most valuable lesson in life; mathematics. The sad part is that nobody really appreciates the effort and love put into I ready.
