I-ready is a corrupt website that makes kids burnout and ruins their motivation for any other schooling. The lessons are way too long, and if you fail a quiz, you ยด ll be forced to re-take the lesson all over again. The progress it makes after you answer a question is horrible on the math lessons. I feel as though this is not an efficient way to help kids learn, if anything, it worsens their learning. There must be another option for learning websites?

I-Ready in general just sucks. It's time consuming, repetitive, and boring and long! The whole process is really tiresome, and as a 5th grader, I think it's just a bunch of trash (and I've thought this since 2nd grade). I would highly recommend something like Reflex Math, or Khan Academy. I-Ready is nothing as close as unique, the style is seriously outdated, and I just despise the way they talk! I guess the creators had an idea back in 1996 to make them 'cool', but everything is really nothing unique or amazing, and the only fun thing (which are the mini games) cost fake tokens you get from completing lessons. Oh, the lessons. They are a pain in the butt to deal with, and they are so long and tiring, you die from boredom trying to complete them. So please, for your mental health and your enthusiasm for learning, avoid this "leArnING" website at any cost!

Lessons are seriously long, do not help, and cause depression and suicidal thoughts. Here is an article proving all of that. https://tultican.com/2018/06/27/iready-magnificent-marketing-terrible-teaching/

Iready is a complete waste of time while you rot your brain. This is a dumpster fire of a way to teach us kids. This "I-Ready" is rotting my brain, as well as my classmates. Everybody in my class has atleast 8 bad experiences with it, and it absolutely rips the "FUN!" out of it. This absolute waste of time, should be deleted and not recreated on any kind of site online. Kids should have the freedom to literally choose how to be taught.

I-ready study's HAVE shown that I-ready does not help kids test soars. All it does is bore kids. If you need a site to help kids, use Moby-Max. Moby-Max is an exelent site that you can set up in under 5 minutes. This image should prove it bores kids...

I-ready's questions are leaving out important informations which doesn't make it easy to solve a question for children, I've saw there was many bad reviews from students who also find this website horrible as well. If teachers want to use a website for students as an exam or homework I would suggest trying the website first and seeing how it would feel to be a student in this situation instead of using a website who can't formulate a proper question children can understand.

Terrible
May 14, 2022

Absolutely terrible. The website's overall aesthetic looks stupidly generic. The actual lessons are a pain to do NOT because of the questions but because the stupid animations will not shut up. The lessons without the animations are like 10 minutes long but the animations add another 30 minutes. There is so much more I could ramble about but I have like 10+ missing assignments to do.

Today we mourn Josiah Finkleton III, he sadly passed away while doing an iReady reading lesson. The lesson was "Determine Word Meanings Using Context Clues 1". Josiah had an extremely unhealthy iReady addiction, which is part of why he died. Josiah could not breath because of a panic attack while he failed his quiz lesson. Before he died, he asked me to say that, IREADY MAKES KIDS WANT TO DIE ITS WORSE THAN MY DEAD GREAT GRANDMAS CABBAGE SOUP. I HOPE THE CREATORS AND WORKERS IN IREADY DIE AND THAT THE VOICE ACTORS ALL LOSE THEIR VOCAL CORDS. DAMN YOU IREADY. R. I. P Josiah Finkleton III.

Ok so me and a few of my class mates are writing a whole essay about why i-ready sucks so bad why do we have to do it when It costs money to use it there are so many different learning options that we can use that are FREE. Like when are teachers going to realize that we are stressed and we are depressed from this unconvenent websight. Oh and don't get me started about how long it takes to do a lesson. One week i had over 100 minutes on i-ready just from doing a few lessons and it sucked so bad. Like our teachers force us do do a certain amount of lessons for a stupid little 1 hour treat that isn't even worth it for all the sweat and hours we put into i-ready. I don't get why i-ready is still out there because everyone i know absolutely hates it and wants it out of their lives. GET RID OF IT!

I-Ready: waste
May 12, 2022

I-ready... My experience with their reading program is... well... okay! I've actually learned something from it! But math... My math lessons are a waste. I am retaught things that I already know in the most bland and uneducating way possible. Imagining somebody trying to learn math just from I-ready is painful. So overall, I find I-ready to be a waste of my school time which I could use much more skillfully (I read history books often, which teaches me more about... well... SOMETHING better than any digital lesson!)

I enjoyed having my child use i-Ready because it seemed that he was learning alot. After a few months my child started having several migranes. We went to the docter and discovered he had brain damage. We told the doctor of what had happened and they said t might be because of i ready.
