I-READY IS HORRIBLE!
January 23, 2024

I-ready does not teach you, engage you, help you. Interact with you, attempt to make learning fun, or even care about your well being, as a student I can speak for us all when I say it is stressful, if i miss one single lesson, my grade will drop an outrageous amount. No kid likes it. The diagnostic SUCKS. It's boring. The lessons just get longer and longer. The games aren't even fun. Stop making us use it. Thats it. One request. Please guys!

Horrible for my daughter
January 23, 2024

My kid HATES I-ready. She is very advanced at math and reading yet i-ready shows she's behind. The state test shows she's 4 grades ahead. Schools use this for grading-but its INNACURATE. It's super annoying, too. Intro takes and hour, and she misclicked and it gave her an hour long lecture. It treats her like a kindergartener and she's a third grader. In the "diagnostic preview" the woman was like, "TRY AND YOU WILL LIVE TO TELL THE TALE." Like, isn't this for kids? And the girl was droning on and on about grades and how to try bc if you don't "oH YoU WiLl GEt eAsY LeSsOnS!". They give you 30 second "Brain break" and then back to 50 more questions! Kids need a break! Teachers assign 20 i-ready lessons a day and my daughter is getting anxiety because of this irresponsible coding! The "games" aren't even fun like, a jumper game! Oooh, a game where I LITERALLY TAP MY KEYBOARD! So dissatisfied! They call this learning but it's totally brainwashing my child! She's better off with her tutor coming to the minka! The ELA is always "CoMpReHEnSiOn!" She knows how to comprehend without this horrible, horrible app! She cries every day because of all the I-ready! In my opinion, it should be banned from Japan.

I-ready is absolutely atrocious. So many teachers assign it and it's so freaking boring. Like how bout instead of assigning i-ready how bout u actually teach us stuff. It's kind of comparable to the IRA.

F*ck you, curriculum associates. I hope you fall into a trench and die. Your website is the absolute worst piece of sh*t i've ever experienced. It is nothing but a tool of TORTURE. Your excruciatingly long diagnostics and disgustingly shi**y lessons teach me nothing, and the only thing i accomplish is successfully gaslighting myself into throwing myself off a cliff whilst eating a tortilla chip vertically. Stop abusing kids and gaslight yourself into pregnancy now

Iready is honestly awful
January 19, 2024

Iready sucks. All of the lesson percentages are unrealistic and you have to get almost everything correct just to barely pass. Not only is it unrealistic and a scam but it takes so long just to finish one lesson. There are 2 lessons in 1 and it takes up atleast 10 minutes to complete one. No one in my class likes iready and it is 100 percent a scam. I recomend using kahoot or something to replace it instead of putting a screen infront of your students and making them do work nonstop with no reward. Overall, iready sucks, please do not use this.

January 18, 2024

Not very helpful and a waste of time. The lessons take forever and you have to restart the whole lesson and reading if you fail a couple of questions. I do not recommend teachers to use this platform. The color choices used for the tests hurt my eyes.

I am an 8th-grade student at a small town school that has recently started using I-Ready for math and reading. I-Ready was first introduced with a pitiful diagnostic test. Students were informed by teachers that I-Ready is a more accurate way to see your level and your strengths and weaknesses. I will say that with all my other diagnostic tests, I have tested at around an 11th-grade level, which is three grades above me, but with I-Ready's "more accurate" diagnostic, I scored right on level. The diagnostic test itself is a bore. It starts with an unskippable video about trying your hardest and doing the best of your ability. It continues with a few more unskippable videos about how to use the tools on the test, things like digital rulers and protracters. The diagnostic continues like every other diagnostic would, but every so often you would get a brain break. The brain break is just a little minigame that pops up every 10-15 questions, but it is just one game that doesn't change, so after a while, the brain break gets a bit repetitive.
The lesson side of I-Ready is terrible. The program reads each question aloud to you, teaching you as if you are a kindergartener. There is also no feature to turn off the mundane AI British voice that reads you every question. If you get one wrong it will explain how and why you got it wrong, which is nice to see every once in a while, but every time? This leaves one lesson taking around 35 minutes to complete.
In summary, I-Ready is a pitiful way to learn. Most if not all students would rather stick to regular textbooks and pencils than start using I-Ready.

First of all, Iready is boring as FVCK! Second of all, the diagnostic is literal TORTURE! Third of all, IT LITERALY MAKES MY WANT TO JUMP OF A CLIFF WHILE EATING A TORTILLA CHIP VERTICALLY! Fourth, the lessons repeat themselves 1,000 times! And if you fail ONE LESSON, YOU GO DOWN A GRADE LEVEL! IREADY IS LITERAL HELL! DO NOT BUY EVEEEEEER BUY IREADY! WHOEVER MADE THIS NEEDS TO GO TO HELLLL! IREADY IS SH!T!

Absolutely HATE i-ready
November 6, 2023
Previous review

Every time I would go onto i-ready, the lessons were below my grade level. That is not very strange at first but all the other tests I would take showed I was above or at grade level, particularly in reading. Reading it showed I was at grade level but I am above grade level. Math I am at level but it showed me that I was at below grade level, but I am not. The lessons were also painful. In reading it would always explain things I already knew, and never let me be independent. That was really annoying, even for me and I am a very patient person. Same with math. Thank you for your time. Also I included a screenshot of the app in classlinks, I am a student so I kind of have to.

It makes 0 sense, like they say, "What does secure mean?" and said, "feel safe" and marked it wrong, we are not using the iReady meanings, I just wont make sense, the questions I got wrong were just common sense words that iReady corrupted, so yeah F#ck this Bullsh!t. Also, My Lang Arts teacher just doesn`t teach alot and let iReady teach us useless info, I would rather hear My teacher yap about Books and words that were written from the 1900`s :(

My son got a severe headache from the psychotic repetition of iready and then one day while doing it, he snapped and went insane. He was never the same again and his brain had been permanently damaged. He even stabbed me three times with his finger nails.
