Worst "Customer Service"
September 14, 2022

Dr. sent a prescription for a readily available walker 15 days ago. After hours spent chasing this down, including over 30 minutes at a time on "hold," I was told that delivery would be this past Monday. No delivery. No call. Finally got through again to Mary in the Boston office. Without any explanation, Mary informed me that delivery would be "Thursday or Friday." When I expressed my displeasure, Mary hung up on me!

Recreational oxygen
September 8, 2022

Apparently oxygen is considered a recreational drug by Lincare. I've been told numerous times that I use too many B tanks. Too many is 24 in 2 weeks. Recently I was told that "people are using too many C tanks". Just can't make them happy. I guess they think we should give up any semblance of a life and stay confined on the oxygen concentrator.

So they have called aleast 20 days out of 30, and when I answer the phone someone ask for me and say will you verify your by your full name and birth date like they're the FBI. My response is you called me you ought to know who you called. Their response I need you to identify yourself to order supplies, my response is why not find out if I even want to order supplies before demanding that I identify myself by birth date that's personal information not to be shared with some random person claiming to be my medical supply company.

In February 2022 I called lincare to come pick up the E0431 Gaseous portable tanks because I no longer needed them and had never used them. The Linare rep, assured me that they would be picked up in march. In March I received a phone call from lincare saying that a lincare delivery associate would be picking up the Gaseous Portables. They were picked up March 2022. Today is 08/26/2022 and My insurance and I are still being billed. My insurance Company wants me to switch med supply company's. My insurance company Hummanna Has been trying to resolve this issue with Lincare but they are getting the run a round from lincare also. I need this problem resolved ASAP. I refuse to continue to pay for something I turned in to Lincare. And I'm sure Lincare owe my insurance company for continued payment on this item.

Don't seem to care

One star is way more then this place deserves. The Plymouth Ma. Office dropped off tanks a month ago. I used the oxygen for 3 days. Then called to get all these tanks removed. Called and spoke with Cynthia and was told a Dr. order was needed for release, which our Dr. said was not needed after waiting the first week for pick up. We called 2 more times asking to get these tanks removed and nothing happened, not even a call back or confirmation. On the 3rd week spoke with Scott who reassured us the tanks would be picked up on Tuesday, that was their Centerville area Day. I waited all day because there was no set time available. Needless to say, no one came at all. Not to mention every time you call this place, the call wait time is more then 15 minutes. You would think if they are that busy that they would need their tanks back for other clients. Its all a crock. I finally called back again and once again got their service. I informed them all their tanks would be on the back yard deck and I will not be waiting for them any longer. Even their answering service people are rude. If this was the only company left on earth, Holding your breath is a better alternative. I can not confirm this with a receipt because the company never gave us one.

I am a CPAP user and changed to Lincare in 2022 for my supplies.
The first order I submitted was billed correctly with my MEDICARE insurance coverage.
The second order was NOT billed correctly. I tried to contact Lincare to resolve the issue of the billing amount but the only way is to call the 800 number and WAIT ON HOLD for over an HOUR! And when someone tried to pickup my call they dropped me and I had to start all over again for over an HOUR, till I just hung.
My Insurance company representative had the exact same experience with me on the line waiting for over an HOUR and then get disconnected.
Lincare has no online way to submit for help to have them call you, so if you plan on using them and have a billing issue, expect to wait over an HOUR to talk to someone.
And while you and your insurance carrier are trying to contact Lincare for weeks at a time to resolve the issue, Lincare will send out a LATE PAYMENT billing with no way to contact them except by the 800 number and HOURS on hold.

Cannot Provide Care

For over for any activities outside of the home. It is said from the manager and employees the the reason is because corporate had made the decision to eliminate the 6N tanks and thus creating a shortage of "C" tanks. While I feel for the local employees for having to deal with this, I'm not sure everything is being done by the manager to resolve this problem. After contacting other Lincare providers throughout the country, I am told by them that this reason is simply not true and that they are not experiencing a shortage of any tanks. Lincare simply does not care about the fact that oxygen patients need oxygen in order to not die. I have contacted my insurance company and will also be getting advice from my doctor on finding another oxygen supply company. I have told the Beaumont store and they don't care that they will be losing a customer. I don't have proof of purchase because this is covered under my insurance.

Spoke to a Mike Woltest (?) x *******. He took great care of my issue regarding a cpap that has taken me to 3 different employees. I thank him for spending the time and solving my issue to receive a new cpap!

Who is managing this call center. They call you and don't say anything, then hang up. It's like they are only reviewing dials and time on call. I called, sat on hold, someone picks up eventually and sits in silence, I can hear them moving around in the background. Back on hold, picks up, does the same thing, sits in silence. Back on hold, picks up, sits in silence and then hangs up.

I assume these people are working from home and stealing money from the company. But I still blame lincare for hiring these types of workers.

I need to find a new provider ASAP

They billed me for supplies after I notified them that my recalled machine had been replaced. They said it would take a while to get a return slip and 5 months later I have not received the return slip but instead they threaten to send my $173 bill to collections. I sent a certified letter to their headquarters and it was returned. Their address on the bill is a PO box so I can't even send a certified letter there. When you call the number on the collections threatening letter, you are on Hold for over 30 min. No recourse whatsoever.

DO NOT use these people. The equipment is fine, but the accounting and billing is a nightmare! They do not understand Medicare guidelines and will not answer the phone when you call. I have been on hold for over 2 hours with no success. Someone suggested using autopay to pay your bills but the bills are never the same from month to month and they do not bill on a regular basis. The amount of time I have spent trying to resolve this dispute is worth the pay of a full- time job. I have called, emailed, and sent numerous letters with absolutely no response.

Stay away

Probably the worst oxygen supplier in Southwest Florida. Staff lies and doesn't follow through. And that's if you can reach them. 60 min hold time not unusual. Trust me when I say that revenue first, customers last. I wish I could use the language I really want to describe them.

THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO CLUE!
On Medicare. Had them in Ca. Moved to Mo. Quit using oxygen machine. Called, come & get it. A BLOODY YEAR LATER, still here after repeated calls. Then I get a bill for $471.92 for one year. Now I'm calling repeatedly to come & get it. Why do U not bill to Medicare? Then I'm calling Medicare, U R being charged, do something! Nothing! Finally call Medicare & hook up with Ca. Secondly Medicare & they call Lincare. Bill us NOT HIM. 2 months later another bill. On phone for hour 1/2 (which is basically the standard time, or more) fighting with these idiots that transferred me 5 times.
Called Medicare secondary again. Put on hold. Then 5 minutes or so Pedro comes back, said he confirmed it with LINCARE & gave me ref. # if they send another one.
RUN CAROL ANN, RUN FOR YOUR LIFE. DO NOT USES THESE PEOPLE

Dr ordered cpap machine though Lincare. 5 days after the order was placed they claim to have called me, but no one answered and no voicemail was set up. An outright lie: I have voicemail and a check of call logs on that day show no call from them. A month later I called to see what status was. They hadn't ordered the machine and informed me it will take an inordinate time due to shortage. They sat on their hands without trying to contact me for well over a month. If I didn't followup, this order would be sitting at Lincare forever. By the time the machine gets here it will be well over 4 months since my doctor ordered it. Totally unacceptable. Their incompetence and non-caring attitude makes me wonder how they stay in business.

DO NOT USE LINCARE!

My dad had Lincare for his medical supply needs and these people were the WORSE people ever. The customer service is awful, they never know anything nor do they even care to find out for you. My dad is on oxygen and one day the power went out and the tank they had brought him was only half way full so of course it went out and when we called to let them know their exact words were "Well I don't know what to tell you, maybe you just need to take him somewhere where there's electricity" like they didn't even take responsibility that if they'd brought him a full tank of oxygen he would've been fine, they basically just brushed us off and didn't even care... there was another issue where he needed a cpap machine and when it stopped working, they basically said there wasn't anything they could do. So please please please DO NOT use Lincare for your medical supply needs, there are plenty other suppliers that have great customer service and will help you with your needs, we have now switched to Aerocare and they have been wonderful! As far as the rating, I would've given a negative rating if I could've.

Avoid this company

At the end of December 2021 I started the process of acquiring a new CPAP machine for my husband whose old one was giving him a warning that it was about to stop working. I made my first call to Lincare, talked with a seemingly competent man, who made it sound like replacement would be simple. 6 months later and it's proven to be anything but that. I have spoken with multiple people in the local branch, everyone has a different story. Earlier this month I was assured that everything was fine, all the documentation from ourprescriber had been received, and we were in the queue for a new machine. Received a call this morning saying they needed more information and it was the doctor's office's fault. My mild mannered was so provoked he shouted at the person who called. This company should not be in the medical field.
