I have had a c-pap machine for about 15 years. I have been using Lincare for about 7 years. At one time they were fine. In the last 2 years, the wheels have fallen off with this company. I used to go to the local office and simply pick up my supplies. Now they make you call Florida for supplies. And that is the problem. 3 weeks ago I called them for a new mask and hose. Since I was entering the hospital in 2 days I asked if they could expedite it. "Yes."
A week later it had not shown up. I called Florida office. The order had never been shipped. I need it badly. Can you please ship it as soon as possible? "Sure." After another week it arrived and it was the wrong mask! I called again. They apologized, said they would send the correct mask along with free shipping for the return. Nine days later and I still have not received their mask or return postage. Over 3 weeks and Lincare can't ship me one mask and a hose. Which is o. K. since my sleep clinic took over and set me up with a new supplier. LOL
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU USE A C-PAP MACHINE. Apparently, they could care less about their c-pap clients.

You said medicaid would pay the rental on this machine. You never said I would have to pay it.
I am homeless with 5 dependents. I have called in SEVERAL TIMES over the past THREE MONTHS trying to find out why I was receiving a bill. YOU told me you were still billing MEDICAID. YOU told me to DISREGARD the bill. This INSULTING, THREATENING letter just shows how incompetent you people are. Or maybe this is intentional. Is there already a class-action lawsuit over this scam or should I start one? You just say you are billing medicaid so I will keep this worthless machine and you can scam me out of my hard labor? FAT CHANCE! You can have your POS back. I do not use it and I do not accept ANYTHING not covered by medicaid. DO NOT threaten me or my credit. This is all do to YOUR incompetence. I have done EXACTLY what I was told. You can just get out your little recorded phone calls and see. You are not SCAMMING me or terrorizing me, either. Do not send me any more harassing letters, either. I demand RESPECT! How DARE you!

My 77 year old mother ended up with Lin(doesn't)care in 2017. Since that time we have called repeatedly for supplies only to be told they were ordered or sent when in fact they were not. She uses an oxygen concentrator and an inhaler. We are in the process of trying to find another provider for the inhaler supplies because it is impossible to get any response from the Lin(doesn't)care representatives. I even went to their local office and spoke with the manager. For some reason they fail to grasp the importance of breathing. I will be posting this complaint everywhere that I can. If your physician suggests Lin(doesn't)care as a provider, you may want to question your choice of physician.

UPDATE: (5/25/2018) My mother had to be hospitalized because the machine wasn't working correctly. The social worker from the hospital called Lincare and said someone would come and check out the unit. That never happened. My mother is now home and using a portable concentrator because these people cannot provide service. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Terrible service

Called 2 days before for a delivery for the friday but couldn't get one which I have always done before, have to go to Temple on Sunday know I have to go with a couple small bottles which isn't going to be enough, was told to call a week in advance if I needed o2 at the gift of life and when I called a week in advance was told I have to call 2 weeks in advance, they have a big delivery on friday so the little guy doesn't matter to them, all about the money

My mother passed away, and we realized that we still had a small portable oxygen tank here that belonged to Lincare. Granted, she died a couple of years ago, but nonetheless, when we came across it, I called them. When she was alive, we were happy with them. Occasionally we had to call more than one time, but everyone was friendly and she loved the delivery man.
Today I called the number on the tank for Lincare. No answer at all,, not even a recording. Then I called a "866" number. I received (by a recording) no less than 5 "free" offers for road service, shopping sprees, etc. Frustrating beyond belief. Especially when it is an older person calling, they probably sign up for all of it! And I'm sure there is a catch.
I went online and found an "I Care" number. I was on hold for 10 minutes. I told the girl about the tank. After her checking things out on the computer, she could not find my mother's name (which she said should have still been in their system.) Then she asked me if I could drive it down to San Antonio. I told her I would really rather that they come get it. San Antonio is a nightmare to drive in.
She said they will call me to make arrangements. I will have to wait and see.
What should have been a 10 minute call has taken away 1/2 hour of my time and caused frustration!

This office is absolutely terrible. They do not care about their patients, you call a get hung up on because your needs are not important to them. On multiple occasions I've tried to get Shawna to send by child supplies and I always get the run around my child has been in the hospital more than once because of her negligence and The Columbus office do not ever do business with this company

Ive been a client of Lincare for almost 10 years and have experienced numerous problems, especially when it comes to their billing system. Since they are far behind in their postings when you receive a bill its months behind the transaction. Their statements dont give a running total of what you owe and what youve paid. Instead you get billed for your co-pay for individual orders which is confusing and makes it impossible to track. Years back I suspected overbilling and it took over a year and the intervention of my insurance company to get copies of all of my bills and payments so we could sort it out. In that process I was shocked that they could NOT give me a computerized report of my account, which is why I had to use hard copies. Now my issue is that I moved a year ago and they still dont have my new address in the system despite 2 phone calls to billing (over an hour on hold both times) as well as writing my new address on every payment coupon when I mail my payment. USPS has notified me that they will stop forwarding my mail next week so I wonder what will happen now.

Very rude customer service not helpful at all. They call me to fill my order then 4 weeks later it never showed up.the girl on the phone was rude and not willing to go out of her way to find out what happened to my order said the manager would call me back i never got a call. Finally changed suppler... TERRIBLE SERVICE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE...

My father in law passed on 3/5 and I requested pick up of the tanks. Many phone calls and promises to pick up later and here it is 4/6 and nothing! Horrible customer service!

I had to call to get my mother's oxygen concentrater picked up TWO times before the company actually showed up to get it... two months later they are still auto billing her and her insurance company for equipment no longer in our possession. Customer Service response when I called to get a refund both times was we will "try to get it refunded" What? NO! Refund my mother's money today! She lives on Social Security Income and is having a hard enough time paying bills for cancer treatment without FRAUDULENT CHARGES! SHAME ON YOU LINCARE!

4 months of mess ups and I still don't have a cpap machine! They lost every fax except for the one that went to the wrong state. Had to keep asking my doctor for another order! Then they lied and said they had no record I called. Taking my prescription elsewhere.

This service is slowly going out of business and it is no wonder. You would think with all the negative comments with this service they would do something to make it better. They don't care how they treat you or that their service is really bad. They can't go out of business soon enough. Nasty customer service. They can't even get their billing right and don't care to help if it is wrong. They'll talk circles around you and want you to do their work. Lazy, inconsiderate customer service!

I have been trying to get a portable oxygen concentrator for 4 months now. 2 months ago they claimed that it was on order. I called back last week and was told that they were waiting on doctor's notes from a doctor that I no longer see. I have tried to contact my representative in the office for 2 weeks now and no call back. I have asked to talk to a manager and she is always on lunch.

I have been with Lincare for 25+ years. Their service is now no existent. I have had to complain to BCBS, and have the agent call Lincare to get service. I am contemplating different actions to remedy this.

Almost killed my dad

Missed deliveries put my father in the ER and almost killed him. Multiple phone calls never resolved anything. Despite their name, they dont care at all. Im sure people have died on their watch.

STILL HAVE NO O2 BECAUSE OF COLLEENS GAME PLAYING.
SHE HAS PUT MY LIFE IN DANGER WITH HER ANTICS.
THIS USE TO BE A GOOD COMPANY, BUT NO LONGER.
I WILL TRY ONE MORE TIME TO GET MY O2, THEN ITS LAW SUIT TIME.
VERY UPSET AND ANGRY OVER LACK OF SERVICE.

Greetings,
Lincare is charged with providing (including delivery of equipment) Oxygen services. Unfortunately, I was not available at the delivery staff's convenience (unscheduled on a Saturday afternoon!).
Upon responding to the door placard, (Tuesday mid-day into the call center) and being TOLD I was unavailable - including having attempted TWO phone contacts - therefore, my bad or something. No Oxygen

Asked if I require immediate delivery best efforts, or scheduled Wednesday, I opted for Wednesday.
Then, 5 minutes later, an incoming call (to the phone number provided) by a Supervisor explained my Wednesday delivery is impossible - deliveries in my area ONLY occur Thursdays.

Lincare: *******700

Written on the placard "O2 setup. Phone # didn't work"

Who didn't work?

Just try to get someone to answer a phone at any location. ICare people promised to follow up and never did (after calling multiple times and receiving multiple promises). Took over 6 months to get an account set up and only got that done after two visits in person to a local site. They do not like people showing up in person. They send WRONG supplies even after trying to get last delivery corrected which they did not do. Ive never received a correct order. THis was the only company that Medicare would allow me to order from due to competitive bidding and I needed a national company.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I would detail my complaints, but they would simply be a repeat of ALL the negative comments on this site. The interesting thing is that this company does not care. For some reason, which I will explore further, this company continues to be recommended by sleep disorder physicians. If recommended to you, DECLINE!
