My very first and probably my very last time ordering from Lightinthebox.
I ordered a Mi Band 2 and screen protectors from this site on the 27th January for £20.88 (items) + £3.53 (shipping & insurance). The order stated 1-4 days processing time but my order never got processed until the 6th February and shipped on the 7th. When the UPS driver arrived on the 10th he would not release the item unless I paid £18.93 in "Import duty fees". I refused to pay this and the driver left with my package. On contacting Lightinthebox through their service ticket system I was told that they would refund 100% duty fees to anybody that had paid for "Insurance for duty and tax" and that I had not so my only choices were to pay the duty myself or refuse the item and accept a refund of £18.15 which is a lose of £6.26 for the pleasure of using their service. This is not a lot of money but I believe this is a matter of principle.
I replied to their messgae asking them to explain where the "Insurance for duty and tax" option was because when I went through the order process again I could not see this option available anywhere. I also sent them a screen shot of their order page to prove this fact. They responded again by just saying if you don't want the item then they will give me a refund of £18.15. They made no attempt to answer my legitimate question with regards to the "Insurance for duty and tax" option.
I have replied to them again but don't expect to get a satisfactory response from them.
My advice to everybody is to avoid using this dropshipping business at all costs. You would be better off paying a little bit more for your items and buying them from more reputable business.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS BUSINESS! They take your money and don't deliver the product. I ordered a flower girl dress - not custom made - and paid for expedited shipping on 4 January. It is now middle of February and no dress. Tracking report only states that it is processing! I need this dress by the end of February. Will contact credit card company next week and take any action needed if I don't receive the dress.

Update: After posting the bad review here, I was contacted by Pinni from customer service who offered to refund me and send a free gift and gently asked me to update my review. Amazingly quickly my money was refunded to my PayPal account. As for the gift I already told the nice girl I really don't believe anything from the store will ever reach my doorstep, but anyways my money is back.
So the 2 star rating (higher than before) goes for Pinni who helped. 5 star I would give only to sitejabber, since my review here helped solve my issue.
As for LITB I would never ever try again.
I initially bought a handbag. After the processing order indicated had passed, I received a ticket saying it was out of stock and they were sorry and they would refund my money into my account on their site, this is for me to make another purchase, not on pay pal.
Well, I thought it was just bad luck, so I used the money that was refunded to me and chose another handbag that said 3-4 days of processing. That was on Jan 11th! Since then, and after I have asked sveral times when will my order be shipped, i have received replies that said they were sorry and they needed more time, etc, etc. On Feb 6th they said tnat next day they would finally ship my order. Today, Feb 8, I suddenly received a ticket saying that my item is outof stock! One month after my order! As you understand this is a business of placing your money, then they after a month they tell you no stock, use your money on another item and so on... They just hope that once you use your money again on another purchase you will add some more money. Total scam. Don' t get fooled as I did.

Ordered some gopro accessories from them and was sceptical but the prices were great compared with original gopro items and while I got a lot of things in the kit I will probably never use the value still seems to be good and the things I have used are great.
Shipping took a little longer than advertised and often when they updated me with the tracking link all I got was a 404 error message which wasn't encouraging but after about 3-4 weeks it arrived.
My main issue with them is that I can't stop the constant emails arriving upto 4 or 5 a day about offers and specials. I have tried to unsubscribe for days but they are still coming

"I ordered a costume from LightIn The Box for a school play. Delivery estimate was 5-8 business days. The costume arrived well AFTER the estimated delivery date. I had to order another costume from a different company. All responses from customer service were generic, telling me only that the item was "on its way". When the item finally arrived, I wrote to customer service again asking for a prepaid mailing label to return the item and a refund of all costs including the initial shipping. That was over a week ago. Still no response. AND there is no phone number to call the company. Do not purchase from this company. There are many reputable distributors from which to order. I ordered some products from this company. Both were too small. One of them was a wrap around skirt, one size fits all. It barely would have wrapped around a leg. I am not large, a size six in fact so clearly this would not fit everyone. Their return policy is ridiculous. You have to send them a picture of what the problem is. So I was suppose to send a selfie of me with this skirt covering half on my lower body. The other product a blouse was also too small. I could barely get it over my head. I certainly do not want to send pictures of myself China either. Not a good idea for privacy purposes.

After my review as displayed below, Lightinthebox customer service team contacted me and advised me that my delivery would arrive in a few days and that they would reimburse me for the full amount of the item which I had purchased including delivery and asked if I could change my review to reflect my rating of their customer service team. The team were very helpful and created a positive solution to my issue. I am pleased that they have resolved this which is why I have changed my review rating. I hope that in future they can maintain this level of professionalism throughout the whole company.
This is the worst company I have ever ordered from. I placed an order on 13th December and was told that I would receive my order within 4-7 days after the 12th day I contacted the company and asked if they could track my order, they advised me as it is the busy Christmas period my order can take up to 35 days. I contacted them again as it has been over 35 days and they advised me that they had forgotten to send my order and they will try again, this was on 19th Jan. I have since contacted them again and I have been advised that it will be another 35 days. This website seem like they take your money and you never receive your order! DO NOT ORDER WITH THEM!

As a result of the complaint I made to the international consumers affairs, PayPal, credit card company and my review on jabber I was eventually contacted by a supervisor. My complaints were taken on board and a refund for the outstanding amount owed was issued.
I was asked to change my initial review and star rating as the issue has now been dealt with and resolved however I felt that this was inappropriate considering the amount of problems I encountered with my orders and the poor level of customer service I received. It should have never escalated to a point where I had no other alternative other than to send a complaint and involve other organisations. A supervisor should have intervened at a much earlier stage.
Even though this issue was resolved and the supervisor was helpful I would never use this service again and I would still highly recommend that other consumers stay well clear or read the reviews before placing an order with LITB

I paid for a WII handheld remote. They took my money and the parcel never arrived. I jumped on my account and found they were out of stock and closed the order. All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment.
