I recently purchased a range of bathroom products from LightinTheBox. I was pleased with the arrival time due to international Covid19 restrictions of travel and uncertainties associated with that. The products were well packaged and the image and descriptions were as shown on the website. Overall I couldn't fault any of the process and product received.
Ordered l dress few months ago, it was great. I ordered 3 more and they were terrible, done with this company. Dresses were an XL and looked like they were petite. The pictures on their website are nothing like what you receive, very, very cheap. Done with this place.

This company deals in nothing but fraud and lies. From my first email complaint to them - and I will gladly make public the full email chain - they have changed their story (and even my order details!) too many times to mention. They make a show of trying to resolve the issue, but in fact are dreaming up lies to cover fraud - with the intention of frustrating the client to the point that they give up. But I won't give up until I am fully refunded. WORST online buying experience ever, and a colossal waste of time and energy.

Customer service rep "Oneal" would not answer my questions. I was chatting with Oneal online about a smartwatch. Almost every answer to my questions was incorrect. He said the watch operated strictly by Bluetooth. I told him the watch was iPhone compatible and there must be an app for the iPhone. I asked what the name of the iPhone app was. I wanted to see the rating on the app before I bought the watch. He said the name of the app is in the box with the watch and I would have to buy the watch to find out. He said I needed to "open a ticket" then terminated the chat. I did not order the watch, therefore I could not give an order number to open a ticket. There is no phone number available, no e-mail for customer service listed. How do I contact this company? I tried chatting again in 2 hours and Oneal came back on, then disconnected immediately. I have been waiting over 90 days for my items. They finally acknowledged my package is lost- asked if I wanted a refund. I said yes I want a refund and they have gone back to please wait. I ordered 2 dresses and two sofa covers, which was £220+shipping of £20, total £240. My surprise was not the cost of the items, as these were clearly shown on the website when I ordered, but the cost of the shipping. My invoice showed a shipping cost of £20, so when I was asked to pay an additional £16.11 by DHL I was very surprised and even more so when I only received the £18.75 dress - my order had been split. I then received a further message asking for an additional £77.63, what for! Well, this was a second parcel charge, an incorrect duty calculation based on furniture! And VAT on the whole lot calculated on an incorrect value of goods. LightInTheBox had split my parcel, quoted an inflated value, selected the wrong category code for import duty and after already charging me shipping costs for my order, then made me pay all their shipping costs or under their terms of business, I would be charged extra for refusing the parcels. I have just been blackmailed into paying their flipping charges. I am incredibly hacked off and after 2 hours and 4 depratments on the phone, if I now die with a stroke or heart failure I hope my partner sues these muppets for every last penny they have!

These people are thieves. I was sent defective products and they are giving me the run around about a refund and return. Daily I have to go to their site to argue with CS. They do not respond via email directly, so you must go to their site, which I sure adds to their "hit" count. Can't get a refund. STAY AWAY. Don't give them your card at all!

I ordered a bike shirt in January. Using their online chart, I ordered a L (large). Six weeks later I received the shirt in a S (small). I requested they correct the mistake. Since then there have been many communications from them -- primarily saying it was my fault. Like: I ordered Asian size, not American size (I ordered from their size chart); Either I should return the shirt at my cost, insured and certified to China, or they would give me half the cost credit toward a new order. Bottom line? It's August and I am still waiting for either the correct size shirt or a refund.

I ordered a telephone case and it did NOT fit my phone. I tried to return it and they said they would have to deduct postage to China, refused to submit a return label (but, wants the return postage), the return label address is in Jamaica, NY but they do not accept returns and refuse to provide the address in China with which you return their merchandise. I have experienced similar problems with these Chinese vendors of deception and the do not let you know the company is outside the US in their misleading ads. They are scammers in the first degree.

I paid for a men's cycling top, payment was via PayPal. They wrote to me weeks later to see the product was finally being shipped, it is now a month after that, no sign of it. All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
