Bought a wallet style case for my iPhone XR that just didn't work for me. Tried to return it and was told the shipping back to them would be more than the cost of the item. Instead of an onsite credit for the full value of the item they offered me a $15.00 onsite credit or a $5.00 refund. This site sucks. Not sure why that surprises me since it's out of China.

I recently purchased two cycling jerseys from light in the box I haven't ridden seriously for 15 years so I hoped the sizes were consistent with my build and they were along with my chest measurement the shirts were long enough and wide enough for me without me looking ridiculous the fabric was quality and well printed the shirt was a very good fit and the pockets in the back and zipper are very handy on a day out without excessive weight on my road bike the material I found both accommodating and tough especially getting it off after a good ride and I would highly recommend them at the price point delivery was prompt and I even had a chance to insure them if I wanted I will be buying from them again purely on the basis of quality and price! Sent me a broken product, kept telling me it worked fine wouldn't exchange or return my money, even capital one, my card company got involved and got nowhere with them. Terrible company to work with. Order from any other company, Walmart has the same items for less money and stands behind there products.

This is one of those companies we all laugh about. You order what seems to be exactly what you're looking for, only to receive something that has no resemblance to the item you ordered. Hilarious! You contact the company to organise a return and a refund, guess what, you have to return the item to China! They know this would probably cost more than the item itself and is likely to get 'lost in transit', so nobody ever bothers. It's a scam. Please please don't order from these types of companies, if the price seems too good to be true, it is! They sell everything, but deliver nothing... a lesson learned!

This has now been resolved after writing this review a supervisor(Rebecca) from LightInTheBox got back to me and with further discussion I have received a full refund and don't have to return the item. This is why I have changed it from 1 Star to 3 Stars.
1920s Flapper Dress arrived to small even though I followed their size guide lines. Due to this being ‘cosplay' no returns not great when they send the incorrect size. They wanted me to take a 20% money back or 30% towards another item and keep the dress I think they misunderstood me as I wanted a return/refund would have to pay myself to return the item(not happy due to being their fault) said I pay then they changed tactics say no return of goods. Be very weary of this company buy at your peril.

Very dishonest company. If you are told the shipping is free don't believe. And you will always have custom fee to pay even when they are yet to ship your order ( I will paid 2 custom fees on two orders now). I don't recommend this company. Please stay.

This is the fourth time I've ordered from Light in the Box. Their shirts are so light and comfortable especially when you're out in the sun I live in the desert so it really helps to Wick away the sweat. Their sizing are a little different always order one size little bit larger than what you normally wear
Ordered shoes on line because of covid and having to stay at home, arrived ok but far too large for size stated.
Told to return them to China, explained difficulty of getting to post office and having to seek courier collection for returned items which would cost more than the shoes, Danielle at customer services disappeared and no answer to e-mails. Had no idea that returns had to go to china, if we had we would not have ordered through this company, no return labels supplied which is normal with online purchases. I ordered a pair of medium unisex summer, waterproof motorcycle pants for $99 and unfortunately had no idea what a completely deplorable, rip off company this is - worst company ever! 3 weeks after ordering my item, it came with no invoice and it was a child size. Like many others who received the extremely ill-fitting, unusable size, there was no invoice and no response to my emails. When I resorted to making a claim with PayPal I finally received an email from Light in the Box urging me to drop the claim and I would then receive a partial refund - with absolutely no mention of the amount of refund. VERY SHADY! I kept with my PayPal claim and Light in the Box emailed me that I would get a refund once I sent the item back to China and it was received. Fat chance that would ever happen! I decided to cut my losses for it is very clear that I would be shelling out more money to return my item to China and I would not be receiving any refund. Shame on Light in the Box for ripping people off and PayPal for allowing it!

Bought a website for my 13yr old Daughter after measuring her, checking and re-checking the website size detail on the product. Decided on size L even though it might be slightly big for her measurements.
Lured by website claims it was a £300 wetsuit being sold for £40+ shipping (I'm a chump!) it took over 2 weeks to arrive and another week and a half to get my Daughter to try it on (was at her Mom's for the holiday.)
For this reason I was unable to seek a return.
We have had loads of wetsuits. This product is not terrible but is very average. Not glued or taped stitching inside, and 2/3mm neoprene.
The product is simply not long enough for my slim 5ft 8 Daughter who could not get her shoulders inside. The sizing said it was good for heights of up to 5'10.
I managed to find an email address for Light In The Box but they fobbed me straight off, referring me back to the original method I'd already been rejected by, apparently ignoring my recommendation that they review sizing info on that product.
I am £50 out of pocket with no recourse and feel such a fool for not checking reviews of the site first, as they have terrible ratings. Easy to see why!

I ordered 8 t shirts July 4 and paid $50 express 2 to 5 days shipping got i on Aug 28 5 on Sept 4 they arrived in Canada customs and delivered in 7 days as for the product its nothing like pictures and the quality is garbage so i am still waiting on 2 more liners for my dog kennel.

I have purchased four 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles from LightInTheBox. Twice they have sent me the wrong jigsaw puzzles. Furthermore, their prices have a ridiculous price tag attached for what you actually get. Shipping costs are extremely HIGH. So actually you are paying an ARM AND A LEG for their products. Then when the product arrives it is in a DODGY BOX that you are not even able to see what type of puzzle picture is in the box. Their customer service is unhelpful. I am sitting in SOUTH AFRICA and they suggested I enter into a CONSULTATION to resolve my problem - with them sitting in CHINA! I recommend STAYING AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
