I hadn't intended to borrow, but was curious what the current interest rates might be from various lenders. I had not even finished with giving my information and my cell phone started ringing. It was AmeriSave Mortgage. I did not answer the phone. And, THAT is really PUSHY, which I detest. "We received your request for a home loan"
So far I've answered a few questions so far so good.
I wanted to see my options without being contacted by lenders. If I want to go ahead with the estimate, I will be the one contacting them.

It took about 3 months of paperwork, verifications, and bank back-and-forth, but I got a big chunk of my money back. Not all of it, but way more than I thought I’d ever see again. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up — there are people who can help, but be careful who you trust.
