Attorneys, ask for my business, request supporting to documents and did nothing after getting my money.
On two different occasions, same court matter, which I began on they're platform over 18 months ago.First attorney who took deposit and did nothing more than tell me,take my info, and never was able to reach him again, just his secretary, who told me that they didn't do heirship s and inheritance recovery etc.Yet the attorney was calling me at 10 pm and later Texas time to convince me that he could help me recover my inheritance. But after that 500.00 was paid. I never spoke to him and was told they no longer represented me,when I called the office to check on progress after 4 months of sending documents, and asking questions.A total surprise,as I got no letter saying they was done with my matter, until after I called the office and got on they're case for an update.Other wise if I had not called the office, they would have let more time be wasted.
The second attorney/ firm.tauts offices in several cities.Baseicy same rip off.Sarcasim and critical of my efforts to provide documents opposed to honestly evaluating the the documents so we can move forward...They're comment was the print type is small on the "chain of title",so they couldn't read it...could I enlarge the print.Wow! What a waste of time.Certainly it's readable. As it's online/ Rusk county courts. And even what they received was perfectly legible. The man was so condescending and critical of this client. He very well could be a bigot and or have a personal investment in the matter. That surely if the info was incorrect. He would of called it garbage immediately. He went so far as to ask who gave me the "chain of title",Why would he want that information.Dose he plan to tell the trustee defendants whom I thought your office supported bringing a law suit against.
I also have his emails which contains more of his out of place comments and statements.
Appreciate that 975.00 deposit to be returned asap.
Your office intentionally took my money and wasted my time. Therefore purposely caused me stress. What a cruel thing to do when I trusted you with my family's personal history.
I sent a case to them which got almost no views, even after I added details and paid for an extra service they offered. One would think the fee would get more exposure for your case but that didn't happen. Zero new views and no responses at all. I asked the company for a refund and was ignored. I contacted the BBB and the company claimed their service was entirely free. So I sent a screenshot of the charge on my credit card statement. I got my refund the next day with a note claiming it was a beta program only available to some people. They went on to say they don't guarantee, as I had supposedly "claimed", case views or responses but they stated that they refunded my money "as a courtesy" and I could keep the case evaluation. Ahem...
A) I never got a case evaluation of any kind from them.
B) what are they they trying pull with denying charging me until I showed proof?
C) If not more exposure for your case submission then what would anyone logically expect they were paying for?
D) Their emails say "satisfaction guaranteed" and I was not satisfied.
This is just me speculating but I sense this site is run by a bunch of douche-y pharma-bro types running their law biz with daddy's money and key people in their pocket taking care of things when things start to go sideways.
Legal Match is a waste of money. This site collects $700 a month from attorneys over a 2-year term. Legal Match says its system filters out people who can't afford or are unwilling to pay for services and are not in need of immediate legal help. Truth is they get the lazy, uneducated, broke and bunk questions that people google and submit into their site. These cases are normally dead cases. You will have to go through 50 leads to get one case and after considering the monthly fee paid to Legal Match you are still at a loss. They assign you an account executive who changes about every two months and they are all horrible. The only thing you can count on with Legal Match is their billing department calling you each month hounding for payment of their monthly fee. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! DEFINITELY PASS ON THIS ORGANIZATION
I signed up on Legal Match to find a trust and will attorney in Spokane. Received calls from all over the country and now I am getting spammed by them with numerous email every day. Not only that but I am receiving all kinds of other spam since signing up and can only conclude that this website exists only to collect email addresses and sell them on.
LEGAL MATCH SENDS CLIENTS THAT HAVE NO MONEY. THIS SERVICE IS A WASTE OF MONEY. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR IT. THE MAJORITY OF OUR CALLS ARE FROM PEOPLE WHO ARE INDIGENT.
Was a great help very quickly made things happen for me. Very grateful for him he was confident and efficient Highly recommend Steve for anybody that is having Family Court issues
I filled out so much information for my simple uncontested Divorce just to be sent 2 lawyers that doesn't even specialize in Divorce. I was sent lawyers that specialize in business law, criminal justice & everything else but Divorce. No I don't want to pay someone tons of money that know more about criminal law vs Divorce like c'mon man.
Legal Match is a waste of money. This site collects over $400 a month from attorneys who get the lazy, uneducated, broke and bunk questions that people google and submit into their site and then they say you have a match, you have a case. These cases are normally dead cases or nothing to jump for joy about thats for sure. They trick you into thinking they guarantee you cases or your money back after two years... hahaha we have tried their "help" since June and got NOTHING. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
We are a firm in Colorado and have been contacted multiple times by people stating they are from Legal Match (It also appears on the caller ID) and they have been very rude, unprofessional, and snarky (to say the least). We have called to request to be removed from being contacted by this headhunting business.
These attorneys are nothing but ambulance chasers. I had been bullied on the job for many years and searched for an attorney to help me. Only one responded. Because it didn't have to do with discrimination due to sexual harassment, gender, race or religion, the attorney turned it down. These lawyers don't want to work for their money. They want to rattle the cages of the other party with a discrimination case to make quick, easy money. Don't waste your time with them if they have to work a little bit to win a case. They are lazy, wannabes.
My identity was stolen and since then public records has been trying to verify all the debts that the suspect had are mysteriously my debt because consumers keep validating it to be me. I am myself and the person who has stolen my identity has different name/birthdate/race then me. I tried disputing time after time just to hear or be told that there are public records indicating it's me Wich it is not. Andrew ran off with my money legal match is a joke don't waste your time or money please they will not help you on here
I had a Legal/Estate issue that I did not know how to resolve. I used Legal Match to help me enlist an attorney. On March 25th I posted my case on Legal Match. I saw their Satisfaction Guarantee and felt safe using their website. After talking with this attorney I signed a Legal Representation Agreement with him and sent him $1000. He has never contacted me again. I have left him multiple voicemails and sent numerous emails. This has now gone on for over 3 months with no contact from him. The problem with Legal Match is that I have now left them Numerous voicemails and and sent 2 emails to customer service and they have not returned a single call or responded to either email. Their Satisfaction Guarantee clearly states that they will assist and even compensate in some cases up to $1000. I cannot even get them to return a call or email. I would like them to honor their Satisfaction Guarantee and/or at least return my phone calls and emails. The quote from Legal Matches Guarantee is "Notify us immediately in case of a serious dispute with your lawyer and opt to try to resolve it through our channels first, before going to the courts or bar associations". Unfortunately they do not honor this. They do not return calls/Emails and they do not help resolve issues. Their guarantee is a complete Lie and misrepresentation.
Was a huge mistake to waste my money on this program. Hardly any leads and the individual responsible for my account did nothing to assist me (sierra something). Very disappointing and really regret wasting my money on this.
I put a case out there because a living trust bank trustee sold a house for ******* less thans it value. After taking a 2500 retainer with no contact. The lawyer kevin connell call the trustee, found out little, then quit because i asked him to do what i hired him for. Tell them the house was under sold. Thats nice he quits after cashing my money orders, of thank you legal match for creating a new problem, Just what I wanted.
Same as other reviews. My first time using this service and I could've been scammed. I am in New York and had one match in Texas, Shaniqua law firm? The website didn't work and when I called the number that just went to a Verizon voice mailbox no secretary or answering service. Hundred percent a scam and this website was worthless.
Legal match is a bad solution for both attorneys and their clients. For attorneys they sell you on their 'hundreds' of leads, before locking you into a expensive, worthless contract. The leads they do provide go nowhere, have no money to pay for services, or were told by legal match that the attorney would handle the matter as part of their relationship with legalmatch - Probono.
We've all but begged Legalmatch to remove us from their call list. Regardless we get multiple calls per day, and numerous attempts by their agents to be as manipulative as possible.
This referral service is a scam. It has no credibility. Stay away.
The company scams lawyers and harassed my firm for years. I didn't want to spend any of my reserves so they continue to email me dail.
Long story short, I hired a bum attorney through LegalMatch that grossly overcharged me ($1000. For a demand letter) and then couldn't provide any proof he actually sent it. Stopped answering my calls, and only called and told me to "do the right thing" when I reported him to Visa.
I only got one other response and the guy was literally screaming at me how people like me (profiling is ugly like that) can't pay.
So I tried to contact LegalMatch and they don't answer phones, return phone calls, or respond to emails. Then I contacted the BBB and the grifters at LegalMatch had the audacity to post this PR nonsense about how they have great customer service and a $1000. Guarantee.
Meanwhile I am months behind dealing with all the clownery around bum attorneys, LegalMatch, and BBB.
Wendy was very professional and helped me get my divorce. She always took my calls and responded to my emails when I had question regarding the case. She came to court with me and was with me through the entire process. I would recommend her services to others and use her again if the time was ever needed. Thanks Wendy!
I am an attorney who pays legal March now $417 per month to have access to leads. I agreed to a 3 year contract in order to increase my business. However, having been with them for almost 2 years, I would not recommend this service to other attorneys. First, they refuse to tell you how many other attorneys are seeing the same leads. They will tell you they're not over saturating the area you have access too, but won't tell you how many other people are reaching out to the same clients. Second, they have switched account managers on me a ton in the time that I've had them. Every time I get placed with a new account manager, they reach out to me once, say they're going to follow up with people I've responded too, so it for a few days, then stop. And I never see them following up with potential clients again until I complain. They won't let you out of your contract. But they won't do their part in following up with clients on a consistent basis either. And they're constantly letting in people on their website who don't have any money to pay attorneys and want a free lawyer or free legal advice. Their screening should be stopping this but it doesn't. I've given them suggestions on how they could more effectively get paying clients. Yet, they still haven't changed their system. This, I am paying for access to people who don't have money to actually spend on medal services, which is a waste of thousands of dollars. Needless to say I won't be renewing my contract. But hopefully this helps other people make an informed decision before they decide to sign a contract. There are cheaper ways to increase your business that don't require 3 year commitments.
