Hubby liked this jacket as soon as he saw it, but ordering online is a gamble with getting a good fit. I read other reviews about the jacket running small, but the price was right so we took a gamble. Hubs is 6ft tall, 250 lbs with a long torso (and a bit of a beer belly); typically, he wears a XL Tall.. I ordered the 4X and it fits perfectly! The arm length is generous, and he has room for a sweatshirt underneath, if needed. He was VERY HAPPY! Heavy leather, not the thin stuff. Quilted removable lining is nice.

Fast shipping - I ordered this on a Friday night and it arrived Monday. I took the free shipping option and was pleasantly surprised. OVERALL, IT'S A GOOD DEAL!!

My review is going to be very mixed. First I want to state that this jacket appears to be very well made and looks great. The zippers don't feel as high quality as those on a couple of other jackets I have, but this jacket only cost one third as much. The zippers may be fine in the long run, only time will tell. The leather seems to be heavy enough and of a quality that looks very good. No ugly blemishes, Everything about the looks and feel of quality make this jacket seem like a smoking deal, the problem lies in the fit. These jackets run VERY small and the sleeves are cut for extremely slender arms. I ordered one size up based on other reviews and have found that I should have ordered two sizes up. I don't yet know what the return policy is, but anticiapte that added shipping costs for the excahnge are going to diminish the value pricing. Should you order two sizes up? I don't know, I certainly didn't think I'd need to and therein lies the hazard of online shopping.

The jacket appears to be well made and the leather is good. The sewn in holster also includes a loop for a spare magazine. I'm 5'6" tall and weigh 175 pounds. I ordered a medium and it fits ok. I have a little bit of a gut, but the leather laces on the side allow for that. Being short, I knew the arms would be long on me. It's expected for the sleeves to be long since you're reaching forward to hold the grips when riding. But the sleeves were also snug in circumference even up on the upper arms. The quilted liner is vest only and that is good because the sleeves would have been really tight. In my case, I won't be needing to put on a fleece or sweatshirt or other warm garment underneath, because I have no desire to ride in seriously cold weather. I have the leather fitted 5 pocket pants also, and the combination looks pretty good, even on a 66 year old. It's a good jacket for the money, or even for twice the money if you can get one that fits. Most people will want a much looser fit like the guy in the picture. On me there are no ruffles in the leather on the body and the sleeves. It's snug except for the length of the sleeves causing some bunching between the elbow and shoulder. I like the extra patches of leather over the elbows and shoulders, too.

Ordered this jacket without reading all the reviews, so I ordered large (I'm 5'9", 175 lbs) even though I had ordered a mesh jacket earlier and got XL and it fit great. Needlest to say, the leather jacket was too small. But Leatherup's return policy is very good, so I returned the large and the XL I needed was sent to me immediately. The jacket is exactly as described, or maybe even a little better. Fit is perfect (make sure you use the sizing chart, and if in doubt, go up one size!). Just went out today for the first time with it, 50 degree day, it was perfect without the liner. Can't beat it, especially for the price!

Great jacket at such an unbelievable prize. Ordered as suggested next size up. Fits perfect to my over-sized body. 6' - 245 lb - 46 waist - 47 chest - 6.5 holder short body with that wonderful bulge mid drift. I went for the 2 XL with no regrets. I suggest if in doubt go 2 more sizes up for more closing in colder weather. Found zipper fine and with no problems without gloves on. Mesh fabric is soft and comfortable and sleeves are great even though a bit tight , but then I don't like them flapping in the breeze at 80. Quilted liner is great and easy to remove and re-install. I doubt I will re-install the liner as I live in Southern California and only fold a newspaper inside front when cold as the bicycle riders do. If I ever have to buy another I will return to LeatherUP.

I had not had a leather motorcycle jacket for over 25 years until purchasing this one from Leatherup. Back in those days it was not unusual to spend $600 for a good leather motorcycle jacket. Then along came the microfiber jackets with Kevlar protection which I went on to purchase. These jackets looked OK but they didn't stand up to ware the way a leather jacket did if you took proper care of them. I've only had this jacket for over a month but for the money it's exceptional in comfort, warmth and appearance for the money.
