I saw this months ago and put my name on a list to be notified when it arrived at leatherup. When I got the email I was right between medium and large on the measurement and ordered medium. It fits perfect. I am blown away by the detail and scope of the art work. After many years of feeling outcast by the public from being a nam vet, I have started taking pride again to stand with my brothers and display an important part of my life. This is a great looking helmet. I am a Life Member of VVA and now I can display my pride in this great organization. I ordered an XL and the fit is perfect and the snap to hold the end of the chin strap is a terrific idea. On my other helmets I've always had to put velcro to keep the strap from beating me to death while cruising. Great Helmet - Great Price You can not go wrong with Leather Up.
I ordered three of the Vietnam helmets, two for myself and a Nam vet bro of mine, then one for his wife. Fluffy and I were in Security Police in VietNam. When I first showed him his helmet, he said, man, this helmet says it all. Another Nam bro, that doesn't ride, said that for the price, he may want one just to hang on the wall. This helmet is everything they say it is. It looks and fits great. Have only been able to wear it a couple of times (bad weather) and already had several compliments on it. Have bought several things from Leather Up and will do more business with them.
