I have a large hand and I thought these gloves would make them look even bulkier and thought it would take away from the performance. Boy, was I wrong. I don't ride too much in the cold, but they were/are the perfect fit for those breezy mornings and afternoons. They also didn't take away from the performance of me operating my bike as I could still grab all my controls comfortably. Great glove for the price point. We will see how long they last!

I Purchased this jacket 6 months ago. Great Jacket. I was new to the motorcycle world my mother wanted me to be well protected while I was out riding. This jacket weighs probably 15lbs. Very durable. The only problem I saw with this jacket was that it was a little too big. I normally wear a size Medium of everything. I've got really long arms so I have a hard time finding jackets that fit me. Decided to go with the large. Fits well while standing, although it seems as though the shoulder pads should sit higher up. But when I sat down on my cruiser, the jacket would sit up higher and would become uncomfortable while riding because it would force the jacket up into my neck. I'm very tempted to get a size smaller because of the durability of this jacket.

I bought this jacket for my son to wear while riding his crotch rocket. He absolutely loves it and wears it all the time. The Vulcan is very heavy and the durability is superb! However, he wears a medium in shirts and clothes and I purchased this in a large. It fits him perfect! So, order a size larger when purchasing this item. Remember, you are wearing a jacket with a back pad, elbow pad, and shoulder pads. They take up extra room, so, the size larger helps allow the extra rom for the pads. This jacket is heavy weight and feels like more than 15 lbs, but there iare plleats on the sleeves and shoulders to allow some movement. The lleather is thick on the areas where most susceptible to abrasions. I am 5'-8" and wieight 160, and normally wear a medium but this size felt quite large, so I exchanged it for a small which fit perfectly snug as it should be to avoid shifting in the event of a fall...unfortunatley I had to pay return shipping cost, so make sure you get the right size the first time. If you are phsically fit (without a beer belly or unsual physique), you do not need a larger size like some of the other reviews say as motorcycle jackets need to be snug fitting to function correctly. The sleeves are just the right length when in a riding position. The only negative issue is the leather is stiff, unlike the Dainese jackets' soft/thick leather but they cost nearly 3 times higher price. But at 50% off MSRP that I got, this is a great bargain. Just remember that this lower price jcket should provide similar protection as the Dainese jacket and if you fall, it won't hurt your pocketbook as much. I nearly purchased the Dainese jacket until I saw this jacket on sale and decided to get this instead, and I do not regret it.
