Pros.
- Quality, Very well built with strong durable materials.
- Comfort. Certainly one of the most comfortable helmets I have ever worn, Padding is thick and very comfortable.
- Sun visor does the job
- Price.

Cons:
- Advanced Front to Back Ventilation System Releasing Heat and Humidity. The ventilation system does not work and is the reason I purchased the helmet. I made sure the vents were all open but my first trip out (105 degrees) proved the helmets ventilation and air circulation did not work. I tried adjusting to make sue I had not closed the vents but no difference at all. I sweated and was very hot. Upon returning home I actually had to towel dry my hair. My previous helmets all had better air ventilation.
- Flip-up front face mask. The face mask will not stay up on its own. This creates a couple of problems. The first being it makes the helmet difficult to put on without banging your own fingers and more difficult to buckle the strap. The next is that in very hot temperatures the front cannot flip up to allow for more air flow. Where I live even the police ride with the front face mask up for air circulation. I typically will only flip it up sitting still but am even unable to do that unless I hold it open. I ordered an XL as all my previous helmets were XL and had to send it back for a Large which fits great. I say this because the front face mask also would not stay open on its own in the XL. This indicates to me this is a likely issue with Milwaukee helmets.

Summary: The helmet is very well built with good quality materials and would definitely offer good protection. It is as good as you will get for the money. However in hot climates the air ventilation system is a bust. It is inferior to helmets that are not near as good quality. A great helmet for cooler climates. Good quality, well built, and as comfortable a helmet as you would ever get. In hot climates this helmet still offers quality and comfort, but unfortunately the Advanced Front to Back Ventilation System Releasing Heat and Humidity does not work effectively. And by that I mean it doesn't appear to offer any cooling or air circulation at all. In my hot climate the ventilation system is a total failure. To make it even worse for hot climate you cannot flip up the front to get any additional air because it won't stay up on its own.
Recommendation. If you live in the hot southwest then this may not be the helmet for you. In the cooler climate up north this should be a real winner for the money.
