This coat is very heavy, but super comfortable. Even without the removable liner its still heavy and fairly warm. I haven't ridden without the liner in yet. Just got it in November. On the few times i have gone out in below 40 degree with some decent wind chill, it kept me plenty warm. I love everything about this jacket, with the only petty gripe being the zip out liner zipper can be kinda finicky, it wants to grab the main liner material. But a small dose of patience and its fine. The main zippers feel sturdy. For the price, this jacket is top notch.
Size wise, I tried on a Large, and it just didn't have any wiggle room if i wanted to put on an extra layer, so i tried the X-large and bingo. It wasn't that much bigger than the large.
