The helmet itself is nice, and got here very quickly. The finish isn't as durable as I had thought. It fell from a foot high to the ground, and has a number of nicks and scratches that I wouldn't have expected from a fall onto linoleum. I also had to get a size larger than what I normally wear, and while I like that it doesn't give me hat hair, I'm not sure if it's as protective as it would have been. But that was my choice, since they were out of my size, and I wouldn't recommend anyone to do the same.
I am pleased with the Balaclava. it is just what i needed to cut the wind. I wear a full faced helmet because I wear glasses and the only part exposed to cold and wind is my neck. this solved that problem without being too bulky or tight on my neck. Still didn't solve the problem of my glasses fogging when i am at a stop so I have to crack the front visor a little and put it down once I get moving again. I really should have bought another one so I'd always have one clean for riding.
Very good fit with glasses under the knit hat or the helmet. Not bulky but good thin close fit and kept my face and neck warm on a cold morning ride at 28-30 deg.s. Highly recommend.
It looks and fits well, but it is kind of thin. In 37 degree weather it took the edge off of the cold air hitting under the helmet, but I wouldn't say it was very warm at all. I went back to my Gator.
Wow, super excited to have this helmet! Arrived within 4 days, nicer looking in person than it looked on line! Fits great, looks great! Had someone asking me about where to get it at a local biker gear store not an hour after getting it in the mail. Very happy with this purchase.. measure your head first and you can't go wrong!
I agree with the previous reviewer that it is expensive for what you get, but just wearing it outside seems to block the wind on my neck. Haven't worn it yet on the bike as my bike is stored for the winter.
Its pretty awesome!!! Very thin, but wind resistant!!! Works out really well for covering my neck where my jacket does not cover it up. I love it!!!!
It's good, nothing to write home about. A bit pricey for a small piece of nylon.
However, it's soft and comfortable.
Weather isn't cold enough yet to see how warm it will be. Will update when weather gets colder. Leather Up is asking for this review a little early.

I have several of the Motley Tube's, rotate them so I always have a clean one to wear when I ride my Springer which has no windshield. The Tube is light weight and can be worn in warm weather which is great on the hot days riding the freeways here in SoCal. Keeps road dirt out of you face and allows you to breath with no restrictions.
LeatherUp price can NOT be beat ... half the price that you find at other sites. Fast delivery and great site to purchase from.
Dave.... So Cal
It's better than nothing on your lower face / neck. Not a whole lot better, but better.
This tube is awesome for desert riding in hot weather. It is thin and doesn't overheat you. I use it to cover my face to keep from burning. It's breatable and works great. I also use one as a head cover and then roll up a bandana and tie it around the tube to keep it on since the tube isn't tight enough to hold on against the wind. The tube is lighter and thinner than the bandana, which helps keep your head cooler. Great for hot weather but I suggest something thicker for cold weather.
Very thin piece of cloth. Can be modified in many ways. Help to keep you neck warm in cool days. I don't think it would work on Freezing days though. Overall I like it.
I was looking for turtle neck sweaters to cover my neck. The Motley tube works great. I purchase two. I love them.......
Fantastic! Not only does it keep the bottom half of my face warm in cold weather, it actually helps keep my ear buds in place when I put my helmet on and prevents them from ripping out of my skull when I take it off!
Protects face from wind, makes you look cool! Worth $13? No, but I haven't found anything like this for less. Stretchy thin fabric, one side fits all. Good not great.
As others have said, this tube is made of thin material. Having said that I find it to be adequately warm with a 3/4 helmet on my Road King with the windshield on. On very cold days you will want a neoprene face mask, perhaps even over this. The fabric is very nice, though, and comfortable. I like it alot. I'll be buying a few more.
This has kept me warm during the colder mornings, fits great
I can understand why it got sold out. Absolutely love the Motley Tube. Versatile in how such a simple tube can be worn. With just a bit of a chill I just leave it around my neck. Below 45 I start to cover my face and neck with it. Last week it dipped below freezing; so, I used it to cover my ears, lower face, and neck. Material is so thin I hardly notice a difference when putting my 3/4 helmet on. And it works so well, that I don't even feel the need to bring my helmet inside to keep it warm before riding.
Highly recommend this product. As soon as it is back in stock I'll be ordering one for my wife.
Purchased this for my wife and she uses it every time she rides. And we are in FLA and it is a hot summer and she said no problem it does not add to the heat it actually protects her from the glare and wind on her face. Great price!
Used this tube when I rode in to work in 40 F weather, the ride takes about 25 minutes where 20 of those minutes were spend riding around 70 mph on the highway to work. I do have to say the tube DID help out and kept my neck and jaw from completely freezing in the cold wind, however my jaw did feel very cold when I arrived. So I would have to say that the tube is good, but it's definitely not made to withstand high speed riding at temperatures below 50 F.
Answer: Leather can be stretched some what if it's wet. But you should seek a professional cobbler to see if they can be stretched before you try it. Quite honestly you won't have much luck with customer service I found. They're very obnoxious, unhelpful and generally not pleasant to deal with. I wish you good luck
Answer: This is why Revzilla.com, denniskirk.com, and motorcyclesuperstore.com are so popular. I called each of these companies before and spoke to an actual person who had the product in their hands while talking with me.
Answer: You unfortunately made a bad choice doing business with this company. Go check their reviews. They are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I'd be amazed if you get ANY response from them at all! Sorry to tell ya.
