Going by the the chart measurements. Buy one size larger than you think you need. I'm 5'8" 200 lbs. with a bit of a belly. The XL fit like it was made for me. Including the sleeve length and waist. Very comfortable.

Great summer road trip jacket.

The mesh is very durable and has a satiny finish. There are 2 layers of armor. There is removable inner shoulder, back and elbow armor but the visible armor is stitched into the jacket. The elastic in the shoulders and elbows allows for easy movement. This is the third xelement jacket purchase i am impressed with.

Great warm weather jacket, plenty of mesh to keep you cool, and I have been using this daily. I commute on my bike, with occasional evening rides, and then longer weekend rides. The zip-put liner is perfect for cooler mornings. Plenty of pockets for wallets, keys, etc. I have a large cell phone (Nexus 6) that fits just fine in the right-side breast zip-up pocket. I am 6', approx 225-230, not heavy, but a little bit of a 'beer belly'. I bought the 2XL because I wanted to wear a hoodie or sweatshirt underneath on chilly mornings. The 2XL fits exactly how I wanted; a little big when wearing just the shell, comfy with the liner zipped in, and still a little room for an additional layer. The armor and armor placement seem just fine for this price, in fact the armor is more substantial than I had expected at this price. Overall a great warm weather jacket!

This is a fantastic jacket. It is great looking, fits perfectly. I'm 6'1", 215 lbs, 49 chest 39/40 waist. With the great Velcro slides on the waist, adjustment in fit is great. Without the lining, it is wonderful to ride with. The air, even on a hot day, flows through the jacket over your upper body and keeps you comfortable in temperature. I look forward to riding with the lining in as the weather cools this fall and early winter. The zippered sleeves are a real plus in putting riding gloves on. Love the firearm holster built in and all the other neat pockets. Overall a perfect jacket for me. Great armor everywhere but not bulky. Light weight. Have only wore it in hot weather so I wore it with lining removed. It is not too hot as long as you are moving. Air does flow through it to your skin (had t shirt underneath). Of course it is hotter than just a t shirt, but it will offer the abrasion protection should you ever need it. One of those safety items that you hope you never call on. I did use the coceal carry pocket. The elastic strap to hold a handgun could be designed better, but it works.

Good jacket for the price. Heavier than I thought (which I like). I anticipate it provide better protection than I expected when purchased. The first time wearing it a snap ripped out of the liner - I was able to sew it back in without a problem but it make me wonder. The zipper on the left pocket "sticks" a little. The jacket is warmer than expected with the liner. I wanted a tight fit so I could wear jacket over it in the winter, it's not "tight" but it fits like a regular jacket. I'm 5'10" and 180 lbs. I don't think my arms would have fit into a medium but the belly/chest would have fit more snug.

large was a perfect fit at 5'9" and 190lbs 34 inch waist, used it once on the bike at night when it was cool

now in the ninetys cant wait to where it again, lots of pockets and it hides your carry gun nicely

I have a heavy name brand jacket for cold weather riding and didn't want to spend another several hundred $ on a mid-weight jacket. I chose this jacket because it has a removable liner and had good reviews and the price is reasonable. I called Leatherup.com to inquire about fitment and ended up ordering the same size as my name brand jacket and it fit perfectly. I worked in a good dose of mink oil to soften and waterproof the leather and it looks and feels fine.

I bought this smaller(6mm pin)with the alarm for toting around while I'm riding instead of packing my HD alarm-less pig around.I like the alarm feature for my joint to joint pit stops.A sturdy little rig that'll definitely spook a thief when it goes off.Alarms loud enough to get your attention,I like the way you can adjust it's sensitivity by various positions on disc.The big ones are limited to where you can put them,rear disc on my scoot.Dump the battery that comes with it,save ya some headaches.It'll start going off with out even looking at it when battery is junk.A decent unit,good value for a portable alarm.
