Seller is so arrogant and refused to have his defective product returned and refunded. This is still under dispute. I hope LAZADA will listen and defend the buyer.
I am not against Lazada, I even bought some good items in here. But last month I purchased an oven worth ******* which was paid using my lazada wallet. Well in the beginning it was good. But then they cancelled the order and tagged it as refunded. I never received my money and it's been a month. I always make a follow up but not getting any resolution. What kind of service is this? How long do I have to wait just to get my money back. The refund policy on the website is definitely as scam. I ordered a phone, cashed in 7500php on June 6,2021 to my Lazada wallet and I was attempting to process the payment but it was unsuccessful. I called your Customer Service and asked what happened to my order. He said the item was no longer available and he told me to request a withdrawal instead. He processed the withdrawal request on June 6 and said it will take 7-10 business days only but 10 days has passed and I never received an update or callback. I contacted CS via chat and the rep said he would follow up my withdrawal request. Days has passed again and nothing happened. I tried contacting CS via chat again and while I was typing my request they just ended it. I spoke with Sheila, a supervisor, who I thought would help me. She requested another 7-10 business days and promised to give me updates but she was lying. I didn't receive any update from her. This is very unprofessional. I then received a call back from a gentlemen and he assured me I would receive my money within this week. He was very confident and told me that my withdrawal will be released within that week.
Unbelievably terrible customer service. You kept lying and do not pay attention to customer's request.
One of the supervisors sent me an email with the following statement:
Please expect for the LBC remittance code to be sent to your registered email address on or before July 23,2021.

Why do you advertise things you can't deliver? I order something only to learn that you will not deliver it two weeks later. I need the product; I would have got it somewhere else. I'm done with Lazada.
Also, you sell so many fake products. It's an awful platform. I wish Amazon sold more products in Asia.

My update and message to the Lazada rep.
Thank you for your reply and the only reason that you have responded is because it is on a public forum, I have been promised by every customer care specialist that someone would get back to me with a legitimate answer why all my orders are getting cancelled at the courier and I'm still waiting for anyone to contact me and not just from this last 7 orders cancelled but as far back as March 2020. This is disgusting customer service and support and has to be stamped out. Things in our area are so bad we are forming an anti-Lazada group to post everything on social media until we get the same delivery services as metro Manila. We are all Owners, Managing Directors or Managers of resorts and businesses in and around Siargao and not one of us would have our customers in the same situation that Lazada and their delivery partners do to their customers and sellers. Give me your email address and I'll send you all the order numbers and information you need to get the real reasons why they were "ALL" cancelled.

Lazada what a joke, in the last week I have had 7 orders cancelled with lie excuse of "unexpected technical issue". How amazing that all orders have the same bull$#*! lying excuse. The truth is that if you order something heavy or large from Lazada you will not receive your order, even after countless conversations with thier customer service specialists assuring you that this order will not be cancelled and thier specialist team are investigating nothing ever happens and no one contacts you with any reasons why. It's very clear Lazada have a disease infesting thier delivery partners and haven't the guts to fix the problem.

Product searches on Lazada feeds you products they want to sell you... not the products you ask for. Go ahead and specify a brand or style or size or whatever: they probably have it but that's not what you'll get. It won't be just what you're looking for. It might be there but it's usually not shown first. Want a specific brand? Too bad, you have to sort through all of them. Want a specific style? Too bad you have to sort through all of them. Want a specific accessory for your phone, computer, TV, guitar, or whatever? Too bad you have to sort through all of them.
Obviously, it's this way because that's the way they want it. It's entirely reasonable to show what you want first, THEN related items. Something so blatantly unhelpful can't possibly go unrecognized by them. After all these years, they obviously don't give a hoot.
I have one word for them: COMPETITORS.

Lazada is the main online shopping service in the Philippines. Having lived here for several years, the shopping service was welcomed by myself and other expats. The company is usually reliable and most orders arrive on time. However, if and when a problem arises due to shipment from the logistic centre, don't expect a prompt message regarding an overdue item. Unfortunately, like most developing Asian countries, the Philippines is the birthplace of "sorry ma'am", "we apologise ma'am", "sorry out of stock ma'am". While these platitudes sound promising, they rarely mean the company will actually do something concrete to address the issue. The call centre trains the online "helpers" to repeat the same information ad nauseum! Logic and critical thinking is unheard of in the training. I recently ordered an urgent item. I finally found out that the item had been damaged and returned to the warehouse. No information had been sent advising me of the problem. The tendency to avoid rather than confront a problem is a major problem. If Amazon ever starts up here, it will eat these companies alive! As I said, mostly reliable and prompt. However, the Filipino attitude of "hurry up and wait"is ingrained in some areas of the company.
I made a purchase on lazada with credit card purchase. Delivery is supposed to be on the 01st April 2021 but until we chase them, they told me no stocks and offered to compensate me.
Very terrible to purchase items. Will not use them anymore.

If there's a rating lower than 1, I'd choose this. I cashed in to my Lazada Wallet so I could purchase and use the Vouchers available, only to find out I can't do so because my account was endorsed to be blacklisted. I did noy even know why, I asked for details and they could not give me the exact details. They asked me to create a new account so my fund can be transferred there. I cannot even withdraw this. Totally frustrating.

Company sends me spam every day. Someone else used my email to sign up. Seems like its very easy for someone else to add my email to their system with no checks whatsoever. Impossible to get my email removed from the account or mailing list. To remove the email on the account you have to confirm a new email address. Support don't ever help. Say they will get it resolved but never do. Why don't they just have a simple email address to contact to get issues like this resolved. Terrible company. Stay away.

Lazada has the worst customer service. I have one experience where the customer service staff left our conversation abruptly. I am happy to decide never to buy any product from Lazada Philippines again.

According to Lazada, they do not sell "pirated goods, counterfeits, or fakes". I recently purchased a mobile phone from this outfit. The brand was global, well know and reputable, but it stopped working after 14 weeks; these was supposed to be a 12 months warranty. I contacted the (supposed) maker who assured me that although it "looked like" one of their products, it certainly was not. It was in fact a cheap Chinese knock-off. Did I get a replacement? No, I did not. Did I get a refund? No, I did not. Lazada could not care less.

I paid over 16,000 for a 65" Samsung Curve TV with "free sound bar". After receiving a message from Lazada customer service saying they won't accept COD and for us to send it via M'Muehler. We sent the money and the TV never got delivered and no money back! We have all the messages from Lazada and they refuse to reimburse us our money. I refuse to ever use them again.

Answer: You can't tell from online usually. It's why have to purchase from reputable reliable vendors. Someone selling knockoffs, counterfeit and fake products will usually use the OEM specifications and often use the original OEM photos. I always read comments, reviews and most anything else about a seller/vendor to get an idea about what previous buyers had to say. I also look at the OEM website for a list of authorized dealers. Of course there is the "gray market" as well. Vendors who import authentic phones but they are not authorized so they wont have the OEM Manufacturers warranty. Many of these sellers/shops offer an in-house warranty and will repair phones in their own shop. Just realize they won't stock parts so even if they are decent people you may wait weeks for repairs to be completed. Most authorized dealers and repair shops will often just give you a replacement phone (usually remanufactured in pristine condition) or, if a simple repair, may have the parts in-stock. So your best bet is either use an authorized dealer or research to find one of the reliable 3rd party sellers. As the old adage (saying) goes "if it looks too good to be true, it probably isn't. If the price is well below what an authorized dealer or reputable shop, then it's likely it's not an original phone. You may have to save up a little longer to buy but in the long run its usually worth the extra money. Finally, I often look at the OEMs who either sell directly or use one of the bigger retail or online websites (for example, Lazada selling Xiaomi smartphones. At least you are dealing with a seller with written guarantees and refund/return policies that (somewhat) protect the Buyer. The only alternative is to either buy the lowest cost phones that won't break your savings if they break quickly OR buy from one of the Mobile Carriers (Smart, Globe, etc) Hope this helps. Good luck.
