The description of the battery was very confusing. It is the right one for the ThinkPad T500. The warning that it is not for widescreen is apparently for another ThinkPad model.

It took a full week to arrive, not the expected 2-3 days, but that seems to be the Post Office's fault.

The battery fits fine in my computer, but after discharging it once to about 85%, it would only charge to 92%. After another cycle, it charged to 100%, but its reported capacity was 51Wh, instead of the design capacity of 56Wh. After a couple more cycles, it dropped quickly from about 40% to 0% and the computer lost power. Charging it from that state reset it to reporting 56Wh capacity and 100% charge, but I will have to cycle it a few more times to see if it really delivers that capacity.

I may be requesting a replacement for this battery soon.

I could not use Paypal to pay because that payment method did not include the shipping cost in the bill.

The received product (Powerbank MP-*******) is OK but it is different from the one I asked for (identified as model PB-660A in the manual downloadable from the product web page in the "Technical Specs" tab). There are some differences between both products. For example, the tips to fit different wall charger ac adapters for the purpose of charging the external battery are not included in the Powerbank MP-*******.

The website was efficient and the battery was received in less than a week. Unfortunately one of the tabs on the internal battery was broken which does not effect the performance. When I installed the battery it is not recognized by the Dell computer. I thought the problem may be the ribbon so I reinstalled the old battery. I know the old battery was dead but it was still recognized by the computer proving that the ribbon is still functioning. I am not sure if the problem lies with my computer or with the new battery. Not sure what to do now.
