I ordered some items with a free gift. They sent me my items with no free gift. I contacted them several times via email ( as I was advised) my question was not appropriately responded to until the 5th email. I was advised they sent me a cheap free gift instead of the one they offered. They basically said that is our policy. Nothing is promised. Very expensive with not intelligent customer service. No longer a customer.
I had a very very bad experience shopping at Lancôme website. I brought a bundle with great discount and they happen to lost my package, and had to reorder for a higher price (uh huh, they will NOT honor you the promotion price even if they lost your package). For my second order, I sign up with another email and get a 15% off welcoming offer, and use it with the purchase with gift promotion. Beware that Lancôme's promotion CANNOT be stacked. If you use a promotion code, you cannot get the gift with purchase even if you double and triple confirm with the online chat rep. The gifts that were promised at purchase will NOT come, so the specials are not even worth it. There is nowhere in the web site tell you that you can't add your promotion code with gifts. No notice given, It's just a false advertisement. Called the Customer service and they can't do anything to help this. Never shop at Lancôme ever again! Greedy company and very unhappy experience.
I made the mistake of signing up for their emails. Get emails everyday and absolutely cannot get them stopped. Trying to unsubscribe is not even an option on the emails. I have contacted them many times and ask to unsubscribe and still cannot get it done. Do not make the mistake of subscribing.
Poor customer service
I feel like I was treated unfairly. I bought this as a birthday gift to myself. My delivery address was correct and yet it was labeled as my address was incorrect and I even called to have it held but it was still returned to sender after I was assured I can pick it up. While that is a UPS problem& best believe I called them as well. LANCÔME offered no help to the situation. I was told the package could not be intercepted or even reshipped to me. I bought the item at a sale price which I was told can not be honored due to sale being over. I was told to rebuy item & call back to try to get a percentage off after the fact. I feel as though that is not reasonable. Why should I have to rebuy at full price at the possibility that you may give me money off. I truly feel like this is poor customer service. I'm not asking for free product. I just want the item that I've paid for delivered to me!
Then after the fact they called me back and said they couldn't honor the 20% off
This is one of the brands I enjoy using. The cosmetics they offer is very good. I can't say that I buy it often, but when I do I enjoy it.
If you are so inclined to purchase a Lancôme product, do yourself a favor and go to a legitimate store and purchase it. Their entire website is false advertising. They do not send any "free gift with your purchase " ( in my case was a 7 pc gift set) nor do they send you free samples with "every order".
When you question it, a customer service rep will keep reading a script to you saying they "probably ran out ". She even said to me " If people call about not receiving their free gift or samples we are supposed to say it's only while supplies last so since you didnt get it, that means we ran out. EVEN THOUGH THE OFFER IS STILL A PROMOTION on their site. In spite of that, they refuse to take the promotional baits off their website. They only offer to "escalate the matter " for you ( which I was told was a supervisor will email you in 2 to 3 days (?!) and the conversation ends with there's no supervisor available for you to actually verbally speak with.
Because this company does not value its customers, I don't foresee myself ever buying one of their products again. I work too hard for my money to spend it with companies that bold face lie to the consumer.
I really like Lancome products but I have used Genifique eye serum for about a year and it had done nothing! It seems I am using water under my eyes, it couldnt repair even my fine lines!
Beware that Lancôme's offers that should apply (avoid the exceptions, of course) are not always as promised. The samples that were promised at purchase may not come, so the specials are not necessarily worth it. For those who use sales and promotions to justify the high price and to make it budget-friendlier, this is frustrating. There is no notice given, just your box missing the items. It's false advertisement. Customer service didn't do anything to help correct this.
I have ordered a few items here and everything was delivered to me on time. I apprecaite the speed and quality.

This company helped themselves to 2 payments out my account on 2 different days for 1 products they won't answer my emails, this has been going on since the 15/11/21 I've emailed them ever second day as according to their customer service note it will take 24 hours to hear back I've sent screen shots of my account to show 1 order and screen shots of them taking 2 payments on the 15th then again on the 19th, don't buy from them you can get better products else where!
Placed an order and never received it. There was a tracking # but all they'd done is create the label, never actually shipped it.
Contacted them after about 5 weeks and they issued a refund.
Better to order from somewhere more reliable.
I wasn't sent my free gift bc at checkout I was asked if I wanted to use my birthday reward and I did not knowing it would make me ineligible for the free gift that prompted my order that day. Customer service was not helpful and did not seem to care about me or my experience or customer satisfaction. I couldn't return it bc my fiancé had bought it for me with his debit card and it seemed like too much trouble to make him return it and then have to repurchase. Plus I later learned the customer is responsible for return shipping cost, so not really free returns as one may have thought initially. Once I realized I was stuck with my loss and it would be too much trouble to return I opened my Beauty Box and realized the zipper was broken. I was obviously not happy about that, and was even more upset when I finally opened the powder makeup and realized one of them was crumbled and went everywhere. At first they were rude when I let them know, but then they agreed to send a replacement and quit being so rude and uncaring. I was thrilled when I got the replacement in a timely manner today and the makeup wasn't crumbled. It definitely took way more time and stress dealing with it than it was worth, but hopefully I won't have these same issues if I order it again. Shipping was extremely fast on the initial purchase and replacement.
I got a Night Cream - Multi Lift (the purple one) and I got a horrible allergy after 1st use. It's ridiculous because it's not a cheap product and I've been struggling to get rid of the ‘burns' on my skins the cream caused. I know it says ‘don't use it on skin around your eyes' but I used it on other parts of my face and also on my neck and arms!
It's ridiculous as I was attending a wedding (I was a bridesmaid) and it looked soo bad, and the makeup artist couldn't even cover it!
I need to report it to some organisations as it's dangerous to use!
I ordered one product and after three days it was not shipped so tried to cancel and was told they could not cancel orders but it did not ship for 8 days. Several emails to them were ignored. Very bad customer service or lack of. They overcharge on shipping, it cost me far less to return the product even with tracking. Waiting to see how long it will take to refund. It arrived 5 days ago.
What I like most of all is their perfumes and mascaras. Both products are of a very good quality what makes me buy them regularly.
Bought several products and Rose Gift, found out Rose gift missing 2 out of 5 promised items. Customer service didn't notify me until I asked and they replied with really bad attitude and said items were sold out and it's normal to have things missing. I complained back with my disappointment. Then they said they would give me $15 credit back (which is much less than the 2 items worth), and if I want to return the products, I'll need to pay the shipping myself.
OH MY GOD. Best makeup product I've bought in years. It sets your makeup with no powdery or cakey look, gives your skin a natural glow look, and keeps your makeup in place all day, no matter what. I sweat profusely at work but when I check my makeup, it looks like I'd just put it on. Saw that Jaime French loves this and though I was skeptical about the price, gave it a try and it will remain in my kit forever
I would give a zero if I could! Order in May had a missing item. Order in June has a missing item ($100!) told they would ship it via shop runner - would arrive in two days. One week after, order of missing item hadn't been placed/shipped. Asked to speak to a supervisor and was denied request. Asked to cancel and get refund for item - it would take them 45 minutes, with a "narrow window" to cancel, so likely not able to... The customer service representative was rude and condescending.
I placed an order on May 3. I spent a specific amount of money to be able to qualify for the free gift promotion they were running. I placed the order and it arrived on May 6. There were no free gifts in my box and I contacted Lancome immediately. I was told "I have confirmed the gifts were not updated in the shopping cart at checkout." I was then told "Our processing time is 1-2 business days with 3-5 business days for shipment. You will receive an email confirmation once the gifts have shipped!"
Well it's now May 19th, no email, no package, and now I'm being told "Please be advised this request is still processing. Due to the promotion being expired if inventory allows the gifts will be shipped to you."
So now I gave them my money, did not receive what I spent money to receive, and now am being told it's expired and they may not have any inventory.
Poor, poor customer service and will never place an order on Lancome.com again.
I bought 3 sunscreen and after I received them it shows the expiration date is this year 2021! Is already 2021!So I contact them though email and chat,I didnot get any response from them by email and one of their member said yes they will provide a free shipment when I return. However,they didnot send me anything ,I have wait for more that 48h and I decide send the item in UPS then I paid 17dollars shipping fee. When I talk with another member through chat,his name is Genesis,and he is so arrogant when he talk with me. He said "is not impossible ". This is his response and he said he cannot give me any compensation,just understand me. How could he said "impossible"?I said another member have contact with me,but he said nothing record in the chat history!I am so angry about that he said because I sent the product too early,and I need to wait their response. I don‘t know I must use the free return lable and actually no one response my email at all!
