I use Labcorp in the building behind Wesley hospital that is located on the A level.
Stacy and Tina not only are very good at drawing blood but give the best customer service. My physician order was not ready when I arrive at 8:00 am and I had to leave Stacy took the time to call me when the order arrived later in the day. Tina on my first visit explained the check in process in a way that was easy to understand.
I will continue to use this location because of these two outstanding employees.
I am a physician who has used Labcorp many times. They have done okay until now. I realized their numbers for a specific kidney test were always very different from other places. They reported a single number for the eGFR when all other places have two separate numbers based on ethnicity. I asked them why they did not do that and if they were just choosing an average or perhaps one ethnicity and not the other. Twice I got the "we can't answer any questions" and "see our FAQa". Well, the FAQs are a joke and the test they do on kidney function is useless to me. I will not use this company again and would suggest some other company to others.
Labcorp 34 d medical park blvd petersburg va. Do not go here is if is at all possible. The wait times are ridiculous. I had a 10am appointment for a drug screen. At 11:30 I have not been seen yet. I was not allow to use the bathroom and had to leave after 1 1/2 of waiting use the bathroom else where only to return wait again to void in a cup. Absolutely poor customer service..
I usually dont have issues with my labwork, but so far this year (2022) I have had to retake 2 tests, the lab forgot to run 3 tests my doctor ordered, and this month 4 tests my doctor ordered 2 weeks ago still have not come back yet, and it only should have taken 3 days! All in the last 4 months! I have had a HORRIBLE time getting my results back, if even done at all, and I am HUGELY upset at how it has been not working! They are unreliable and expensive, and about as bad as the IRS! When it comes to payment, they want it now, but you get an: "oh, I forgot, sorry. Lets redraw blood and do it again" if you have to go have a test redone! They waited so long to run a test on one of my samples it coagulated and I had to draw blood and retest again! If you can help it, request to use Quest Diagnostics... LabCorp is a joke!
Lab corp closed the site in a Walgreen's where I had an appointment for a fasting blood test for over a month. I was never informed and didn't know until I walked into Walgreen's that day. I had to have the test in order to have a medical procedure. Could not get an appointment at their
Other sites near me. They left me in the lurch. Horrible communications. Will be switching to Quest.
My wife and I went approximately 15 miles on Wed. For routine bloodwork and had been advised by our doctor that orders had been sent. We arrived and were told rudely that they had no orders for us. Returned home, called doctor were told again that orders had been sent but would be immediately resent. Arrived on Fri. Had my order but not one for my wife. We had tried to call ahead of time to confirm. No answer but told to leave message. We did and had asked for confirmation. Received none. When told that her order was not there. My wife was told rudely that she should have called ahead of time. She pointed out that she had. The response was that they were too busy to answer the phone and that she should have left a message. Unbelievably, she was then told that they had not been able to retrieve phone messages for two weeks. Needless to say, we will never return to the Rochester, NH LabCorp facility. Incompetence is bad enough but add rudeness to it and there is no rating low enough to give it!
I've been trying to get routine lab work done at the LabCorp in St. Mary's Hospital. Every time I've made appointment something has gone wrong they've either been understaffs and running over an hour behind or their computers are down. Warning if you go, get your doctor to print out your orders as well as sending electronically. In the past I've also had issues with them not entering the diagnosis code, so I have to get my doctor to sort things out with my insurance.
There is one tech to draw blood and he is great but not enough. It's a shame it's a lot of stress if you didn't make an appointment online. He deserves help.
At first I went to Lake Oswego only to find out I needed an appointment. The lady said I needed to go back home and go online for a scheduled appointment. SHE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE. I finally got an appointment in Vancouver yesterday on the 11th. (it was 10 days out from the original date). When I arrived at Walgreens/LabCorp the store was closed due to the cash machines inoperable. I went to the drive through pharmacy and they finally let me in for my drug screening. The OLDER man that assisted me was RUDE during the entire process. COME ON PEOPLE IF YOU DON'T LIKE WHAT YOU DO SIMPLY DON'T DO IT... HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE...
Swedish Ballard Lab Corp. Terrible. I always make appointments and they don't mean anything. I often wait 30 mins after appointment time. Staff is rude and phlibotomist leaves bruise. The corporation doesn't seem to treat their employees well.
I am glad someone pointed out. The kiosk and how hard it may be for an elderly person. It is hard for someone that has a language barrier and the front desk people do not go out of their way to help. Either way, read your lab results. Make sure they are ACCURATE and you got all the tests that were ordered and not a test that was not ordered. How do I know? It recently happened to me: my son and his daughter. Two differnet states and 3 different LabCorp locations. My son had one test by LC screwed up three times. He is waiting for his 4th result. To add to this, his daughter had a lab done 40 miles away from the LC where he had his test. She had a UTI that was really bad, and about 4 days later (and she was in serious pain by then) LC asked her to return so they could take another urine sample, and they would not tell her why. Of course, this freaked her out as in, what did they find, what is wrong with me? It turned out her father called that LC and they "lost" her urine sample-so they had to redo it. LC has grown so fast and the infrastructure not solid-- enough to keep putting more of their labs out. Staff hmmmmmm
I am glad we were not having surgery and accurate tests were needed the first time around. Every city should have area LC inspectors drop in weekly to make sure the offices are running smooth. A patient of LC cannot get a live body online to even ask a question. LC needs to take a step back and firm up what they do have.
Low standard, uncaring, crowded. The hostility and low-grade attitude of staff means the corporate treat them badly which is reflected in their attitude towards the patients. Quest is of higher standard. Avoid LabCorp if you can. They do get the government contracts more often, which explains their poor attitude and low standard.

The male behind the glass shared my personal information (my name with spelling and my date of birth then reading of the order and why it was needed) with the entire waiting room while he was speaking to my doctor's office because no one in the office knew the urinalysis oder. He had no mask nor name tag. My "reservation" was at 3 and I left at 4:00. Sorry this is not a restaurant nor a hotel.
These ladies at the front desk were so very rude. The doctor sent me there to pick up a specimen container. The lady refused to help me until she completed all other requests even though I arrived first, before all other customers. The woman was extremely rude, told me to just sit down and wait until she completed all other requests. As I stated, when I arrived, there were no other customers. I was first in line.
Whenever my parents need a blood works done we always go to Labcorp Monterey Ave Palm Desert because of Carlos and his team (Maria, Shona and Gary). They are friendly in this location at ******* monterey ave palm desert ca *******. Carlos is the best. He is a nice person and very friendly. I had my Mom visit today for a routine blood works Shona was the person that took her blood and she is gentle she is a pro in this job my Mom says "no pain" she is good. All of them in this location is nice and friendly. They are all professional in this field and they know how to poke gently and painless. The reasons why my parents follow them whenever location they are. Even though they have a small space in this location Carlos Maria Shona work as a team today. In addition the employee at this walgreen location they also greet all the time you enter the store. It helps a lot to have a good vibes and good day. Happy employee means happy at work. Terrible service. Incompetent staff. Couldn't figure out how to open an email with my lab orders from doctor. Had an appointment and wasn't served for more than two hours. Took walking before serving us. Absolutely incompetent!
I was unable to catch my scheduled flight because they didn't send me results within 48 hours as stated on site or by Walgreens. When contacted about urgency, they didn't bulge and told me them it could take u p to 5 days, so I had no choice to pay $200 at an airport site to take a later flight which created an immense domino effect and nightmare of a trip, my worst so far. Even had troubles with my return flight from Europe because due to earlier changes that month, Miami/Tampa flight was cancelled. Needless to say it has been memorable! By the way, the results were finally posted on July 11th, or a week later. Unbelievable!
The most rude people work at this location. Unfortunately my insurance won't cover Quest if it did I wouldn't be forced to come here. If you have a choice, don't come here!
