Find another lab if you can. Their billing practices are deplorable. I paid my bill the day I got it which happened to be 9 days after the invoice date. My bank posted the payment to them the following day. They didn't post the payment for 16 days and subsequently sent me a collection notice. I called them at least monthly due to problems with the bill and they would promise to make a note in the file and didn't. If you have a choice of labs to use, don't use LabCorp. It's obvious by reading the reviews that their billing practices are terrible. When I called today, the girl said they probably crossed in the mail. Mine was an electronic payment...kind of hard to cross in the mail. They are incompetent and do not post payments in a timely manner. If you have a great credit score that you want to keep great, stay away!
At check in staff person said I had a past due balance, never used them b4. It was for today's service. Staff took me in, she was curt, not friendly at all. She actually checked a text that came in on her watch in the middle of drawing my blood. When she was done, she mumbled something I perceived to be "have a good day's but I wasn't sure. I got up and walked towards the door and she rudely said it again. I responded the same and said I was not sure what she said because she mumbled. She rudely replied "I did not mumble". $600 for standard blood work. Gotta love it. The insurance company already takes hundreds from my check before I ever see it, then I pay my copay to the doctor, and I'm still stuck with a bill. I don't have any issues, I don't have any prescriptions. There is only 1 reason that it cost $600 to get blood drawn. GREED. It's a great racket they have going. They get paid from the insurance and then a bonus from the patient. They don't care about people they care about profits. If you can avoid them please do so cause they are just a legal scam service.
I don't want to have to listen to a long message when I call, and then they don't pick up the phone. I tried several times at more than one location.
Tech turned me away as I attempted to drop off a specimen by the lab corp tech - the woman was readily visible and the door was open. I believe I was 3 minutes after closing.
I explained to the tech that this was our third drop off because we didn't get the correct specimen containers the first two times.
She did not care.
Had Quanterferion Test done on 03/16/2023, received email from labcorp in stockbrige saying that my test results were back and when I log in to my account to see the results of my test it said my specimen was not labeled properly, then when I called labcorp customer service they tried to blame the mistake on my agency, my agency didn't draw my labs labcorp did. I won't return to this place ever again.
This company is not good. We had no idea it was out of network with our insurance. Why would a lab be out of network since there are only 2 lab companies anyway? They billed us $700, the whole bill. Bad business ethics.
I had separate orders from two different doctors. Both orders were drawn and only one set processed. The orders were for different things. I had to go to my local hospital and re-do the second set and pay a much higher hospital price. Lesson learned.
I have never been to a more unprofessional, filthy and RACIST lab company in my life! I've been to several Labcorp's and they are LITERALLY ALL THE SAME! God forbid you need to ask the "person" at the front desk a question, especially if you aren't the same skin color. The racism is rampant and should be addressed by corporate immediately! They claim "DIVERSITY"? Well, if you are a certain color, you're fine, if not -- THERE IS NO DIVERSE CULTURE! And for God sakes, take a mop to the floor once in a while. Seriously! If I could give less than 1 star, that would be my choice!
I have been to several different lab corps in PA, They all seem to share the rudeness of their staff. In addition, the wait times usually go from 30min to 1 hour. Not to mention their hours are awful, they close super early. I just witnessed the employee not accept two patients claiming they are no longer taking walk ins. However, on the website it says saturdays are walk in only and the hours are until 11am. These patients came at 10:45 am and were not able to get their blood work done. I wonder if the management know what actually happens in their labs. This is just sad!
I went to the LabCorp on Lake Chabot Rd. San Leandro. The male technician started yelling at me when I put my urine sample in the cupboard that says to put it there. He was VERY RUDE and seemed really angry. THEN he says "YOU'RE GETTING A DRUG TEST SO I HAVE TO SEE IT!" This was said loud enough for EVERYONE waiting in the lobby to hear. The receptionist told me his name is Torin. DO NOT GO THERE IF HE IS THERE!
What is the point of booking an appointment and over an hour later you still have not been seen? Richmond VA Boulder location. People are walking out! Others have no choice but to stay. Elderly, diabetics and people who are holding their urine for drug tests
Went to a lab corp in Baytown that refused to service me due to an old bill from a physician that I've never heard of. Literally wouldn't draw until the payment was made and continued to refuse me service. Called number for customer service and rep was yelling and screaming at me over the phone. I will NEVER go to labcorp Again!
I had a good experience at LabCorp in Worcester. My form for my test was screwed up; the technician told me to call my future employer and have them fix it in the computer so I wouldn't have to come back. She was helpful and professional.
Staff at labCorp are very unprofessional and rude and there is no way to file a complaint unbelievable one star is even more than they deserve!
Was told two weeks ago lab results were ready.when I contacted labcorp to GET the results I was told someone would be in touch with me shortly,, Two weeks later.no contact.no results. Every Time I go they have problems. They are the worst I have ever seen. If you can go somewhere else. The waiting area is standing room only.
Simply don't go, Place is open until noon we got there before 11.30 and they didn't allow us in. Plus very rude receptionists, Johan and two more senior ladies who wouldn't even provide their names. Freezing cold reception, smelly and dark. Let me correct myself: just go there if you want to feel really sick
I asked Labcorp in writing four times why there was a charge for "Drawing fee" on a bloodwork invoice. The blood was drawn at the doctor's office, so why did Labcorp charge a drawing fee? Instead of answering my question they bombarded me with digressions about which tests were performed, how prices are set, cash discount, etc. Literally page after page of irrelevant text. I called the doctor's office and finally found out the phlebotomist there is a Labcorp employee. Why the f*&^@ couldn't one of those Labcorp customer service reps tell me this? Since Labcorp appears to be illiterate idiots I hope they performed the tests correctly, but what more can I do?
I went yesterday to have blood work done. I had multiple test over multiple days and the Lab had all my paperwork. When I arrived the only lady there was exceptionally nasty and had the nerve to call me stupid not once but twice because I didn't have my paperwork and I should have magically know when she worked because she didn't have it. She yelled at me for not fasting even though my doctor said it was a non fasting test. I got so upset I walked out with no blood work done and no idea what will happen to labs already done. I have now cried at least 4 hours over something I was paying for. There is NO excuse for that kind of behavior on your job. If she hates her job so much she should find a new one because she does not belong dealing with the public.
