The overall reputation of the company reflects a significant divide in customer experiences. Positive feedback highlights attractive pricing strategies and a broad product selection, particularly in apparel. However, numerous negative aspects emerge, including frequent complaints about inconsistent pricing, poor customer service, and inadequate handling of returns and online orders. Customers express frustration with staff training, particularly regarding ADA compliance and return policies, which often lead to lengthy processes and dissatisfaction. The prevailing sentiment indicates a need for improved customer support and operational efficiency to enhance overall customer satisfaction and loyalty.

I just purchased a couple of shirts from Kohls and had them shipped to my home. The service was fast and accurate and the value was great! Good job Kohls. Keep up the good work.
I went to shop online I placed my order it went through they charged my card but then I got a email stating that my order couldn't be processed yet they charged my card. So I call and they tell me my card can't be verified even though the payment was processed. I asked how long until I get my money back so I can order elsewhere and they had no answer but whenever my bank approves the transaction. I will never order from this company again!
I'm a 55 yr old black woman and I just wanted to tell you about the commerical with the little girl and the chalk. That is a beautiful commerical. It makes me smile everytime. I know it's a kohls commerical but it's so much more with everything that's going on. Thank you for that and never stop that commercial. Yet you can always make more like that one. Thank you. Tanya Andrews, Augusta, Georgia. Have a great day!
I've complained b/4 about the awful carts. You get your choice of pushing around a clothes hamper bag or a small plastic garbage can with a long handle to push or pull. Would be hard to disinfect them. They hang down to floor & you practically have to crawl inside to retrieve items. God forbid if you buy pots & pans or any big box as they don't fit in bag. Try & find someone working on floor to help you with that. Please get an upright wire cart to use that is useful & can be sanitized. I'm tired of throwing things over side of cart!
Bought several pairs of Converse sneakers on their website. Excluded from literally EVERY. SINGLE. DISCOUNT. Then they ship them in thin plastic bags so the boxes get all beat to hell. If you're going to sell a brand as a "premium" product to justify excluding it from any and all promotions, then package and ship it in a way that doesn't look like it's fallen off a truck in some back alley - before being run over 15 times.
Two pairs had stains as well - and NONE of the ones I ordered are available within reasonable driving distance, so I either keep them or send them back because I can't find them in my size now. POS website and company; definitely wouldn't recommend and won't shop at ever again.
Be aware that if you sign up for a Kohls card to take advantage of coupons, and immediately pay it off, should you need to return item, you will paid back in store credit, not the cash you intended to pay with and used to pay off the card immediately.
Kohl's unethical credit practice
I was an excellent customer of Kohls for more than a decade and I had an exceptional credit history with my Kohl's charge. Last September our home was damaged in Hurricane Sally, we had to move and change our address and regretfully there was a delay in getting our mail forwarded. I made an $85 charge in November, didn't get a statement in December but I since I knew I had a balance, I went online and made a $50 payment (the minimum would likely have been $10). Busy with renovations, etc, storage units, etc. I didn't notice that did not receive a statement in January. In February I finally received a statement in the mail. I had a $15 balance with interest and late fee for a total of $65.92 which I paid immediately. In March, I applied for a mortgage loan and learned that Kohl's had reported me to the credit bureau and having that negative report would increase my rate of interest on the loan. I reached out explaining the situation to Kohl's and they declined to remove this negative report. So... I was a great customer, excellent credit, experienced a hurricane and since I didn't receive a statement, yet they reported me to the Credit Bureau... for $15 without ever attempting to call me about a past due account. I have never experienced anything like this so I feel it my responsibility to warn others about Kohl's unethical business practices. Since this is how they treat their good customers, I suggest you find another place to shop.
I think Kohl's is one of the latest companies to forget who their loyal customer base really is... I give them about 5 years tops left of actually turning profit. I guarantee you that during lockdowns it wasn't anyone BLM-related shopping at their online or in person stores... so, go ahead, push BLM down our throats, add way more products that is truly sustainable (Sephora now too? Really?), take away free shipping AND coupons for cardholders that have shopped there for YEARS... and... umm. Well, good luck with that! Also... supporting BLM and getting rid of MyPillow? Did BLM do ANYTHING to help Americans during the PPE shortage? No... but they did loot a lot... especially from stores like KOHL'S! Meanwhile, MyPillow was producing masks... I'm paying off my credit card and I'm done with them, bye Kohl's!
They have quality clothes at affordable prices and they have Kohl bucks. Nice clean environment to shop.
I ordered SO jeans online and received 2 pairs with security tags on them. I called Customer service and was told I had choices based on how far I live from a store. I could bring them back and have the tags removed, throw them away and get a refund or get more pant shipped and the customer service rep apologized. They were AWESOME!
I love kohl's department store. Place always has something you can find. There's usually a sale going on 95% of the time. Their coupon exclusions aren't made by corporate. It's by the company that makes the product. Kohl's also has the best kohl's cash problem. They always have rewards you can earn without having a kohl's card. Having a kohl's card has benefits. Most coupons apply when you use the kohl's card. The cloths are better quality, and last much longer. I highly recommend kohl's cof all you'd shopping experience. Also the employees is makes the store it. It changes the whole environment.
I am new to Kohl's and was excited to open a charge so I could shop on line and have items delivered to the store during Covid. My first item was a comforter that was clearly returned as it was stuffed into the original packaging and it smelled like perfume and body odor. Surely someone had to notice this before passing it onto me, the customer. Second item was an iron who box was so damaged that I was afraid to keep it as clearly it had been through a rough journey on the way to to store. My third item, a toaster oven never shipped but it was billed to my account. A month later and after multiple inquires, it arrived. Apparently I'm signed up for paper statements, but none have ever arrived, to which the company admitted there's been a problem sending them out. I forgot about a 22.00 purchase which is now $39.00 due to late fees because of never receiving statements. (I had originally signed up for paperless an never received an email either) Customer service agreed to drop the fee and charge me the original 22.00. The next day they charged me $39.00 after all! I call to have the error fixed and hey said I can only get a refund by a paper check. Paper in 2021... how cute! When I called customer service it took me almost ten minutes to reach an actual human. I was forced to answer a survey which was clearly tying to sell me car insurance. The menus are confusing and circular and I kept returning to the main menu. The products are fine, when not slept in or dropped. The customer service people are nice, but clearly have no clue. Shipping is not in ship shape. This company has a lot of work to do. Sadly, I'm cancelling my card and returning to Macy's. The same products on a one day sale are a better value/savings. Don't even get me started on the Kohl's cash! Time limited Monopoly money! Price is important to me, but so customer service and respect. Good luck spending your hard earned money at this store
Made 2 payments NEVER RECEIVED confirmation Had to call to have one pymt cancelled Kolhs hasnt fixed BEWARE making pymts on-line. Emailed *******@kohls.com to Corp to get answers, THIS IS A GOOD EMAIL ADDRESS FOR HDQTRS Executive Correspondence Lead | Office of the President Kohl's Department Stores
Every order I've placed with kohl's in the past six months has been a problem. They send me a coat with the sleeve sewn shut. The replacement has a security tag attached and they expected me to go to the store and have it removed. Yeah, I'm going to walk into a store so I can get arrested for shoplifting. Every order gets split into multiple shipments and at least one of those shipments gets lost. The customer service reps lie and treat you like an idiot. To top it off, they send me a lousy 15% off coupon. I've been a loyal customer for YEARS. I'm done with kohl's, they don't care about the customer.
Placed a big order online, had to change my address bc of a move, looked online to see when it would be delivered and noticed the address did not change to my new one and only a partial shipment was sent. I went back into my account and realized I had not saved it so I take responsiblity for that. This was the next day. Called right away to see if they could intercept the rest of the order that had not gone out and change the address on it. Nope! First of all the lady I talked to was very hard to understand so I kept saying "I cannot understand you so please repeat it". She informed me that when they received the order back from my old address they would refund me the money. I then said I would rather have the clothing than my money back. She said that was not am option AND that it would take 30 days for my refund. W Can someone tell me why it takes 30 days for a refund? The company doesn't wait 30 days for the payment. Not happy with KOHL'S at all.
Peaceful discussions are how we resolve differences in USA unless you're affiliated with BLM, ANTIFA & other liberal radical groups as Kohl's is now. Thrust refuse to be the once proud ‘family friendly' store they used to be. When a retailer delists a product, they're essentially boycotting that company. What goes around - comes around! Keep up the Kohl's boycott brothers & sisters and watch as their stock and sales tank.
Kohl's has now officially entered the activism culture (delisting My Pillows, BLM support, etc) and will pay a heavy price for not sticking with what consumers prefer - selling retail items! Folks cut up your Kohl's cards and never step foot in their hell hole demonic stores again!
Well I'm not impressed with this store, I got something for Christmas and I went and return it for credit for the store the lady gave me store credit for $37.46 she put it on a khols card for the store when I went to use it in the vallejo store there was nothing on it and because it was a gift exchange I had to pay for it. People make sure your cards have the money on it and keep the receipt. Shady
Most of us reason that true diversity is equal representation within the population. But not Kohl's.
It seems Kohl's overwhelmingly omits white people in their advertisements. Bear with me.
In Kohl's online ads today, they featured 23 faces of which only 1 person was Caucasian. That sole white person was female. There were zero white men in this ad. Ask yourself why they would omit relatable images in its ads for over 50% of USA shoppers. Do they hate whites? Do they believe white people ran out of money? Does this strategy somehow contribute to a better society or is it just a kneejerk attempt to bandwagon on a current social trend.
Peeking behind the curtain, Michele Gass, Kohl's white female CEO filled 100% of her top seven executive positions with only white people, of which five are white men. Hmm… big on white buddies at the executive level while publicly distancing themselves from anything white and/or conservative. What a bunch of dopes...
Like many companies today Kohl's apparently believes consumers are too gullible to see past their facade.
Someone should advise Kohl's to stay away from politics as it will surely bite them later. Considering their stock price is already stagnant, Kohl's will hopefully come to realize they can't game loyalty.
When you remove My Pillow products just because corporate execs disagree with Mike Lindell politically or are afraid of the Left, you alienate MOST of your customers! This is a STUPID business practice!

Answer: Don't know about Canada, but NO THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE! They can't even figure out to send a glass picture frame in a box instead of a plastic bag. TWICE! And forget about a refund. Shop elsewhere, anywhere else.
Answer: Yes. See the back of your receipt. It says you can return items anytime for any reason.
