A great experience all around
I had 2 Nikon camera bodies and 4 lenses to sell, all in great condition, no wear and tear, working normally. I get a KEH quote, lower than I'd like but better than other vendors in this space. They make it seem on their website that the equipment will be quoted within a "guaranteed" payout range so I'm happy. But when I get my final quote back (took 8 weeks btw), they nickel-and-dimed me by 60% less than my initial quote. Everything was reduced, even equipment that they graded as Excellent and Excellent+, along with two pieces that they lowered to $0 from claims of "impact damage" and "repair costs". They had no real explanation as to why, this just seems like their standard of business, another way to screw over customers in order to maximize their margins.
Just a blatant example of a bait and switch, and they will never be getting my business again. Avoid at all costs, or know going in they'll try to screw you over in any way possible.

Unfortunately the autofocus did not work correctly and I returned this lens. I was thoroughly impressed with the customer service rep that I spoke with about this situation. I am anticipating continued great care as it gets shipped off to Nikon for the repair and ultimate return. The lens was rated as a bargain, but I must say that with the exception of the autofocus, the casing was in reasonably good shape and the optics were pristine.

Please in the future put a "gift" declaration to avoid customs taxation, unfortunately if this is not done I wont keep buying from you due to the expense. I regularly buy thru ebay and they offer free shipping plus they do add the "gift" declaration, on the product I bought from KEH I had to pay because of this.
The website is straight forward and easy to navigate. Never heard of it before a week ago. Found by searching for a specific item. Never saw it in previous similar searches.
The only issue is that the grip area on the camera was a little sticky, which is annoying. Other than that, it was in great shape. However everything was packaged well and it appeared that care was exercised in executing the order and shipping. Thanks
