I had no idea the package would be signature required. If I had known that, I never would have wasted my time and money with KEH. When I called to complain, they recommended I go to the FedEx facility to pick it up - why is it my responsibility to find out where they're holding the package and then figure out the time to get to the facility to pick it up? The person on the phone said FedEx requires the signature because of the amount, but that's a blatant lie. I had something delivered from FedEx literally a week earlier, and it cost a bit more, and there was no signature required.
I then told the customer service representative to call FedEx, cancel the delivery, and issue a refund/return. They said they would do this, and I would get an email soon. Of course I never got an email, and the package arrived the next day - luckily FedEx was very understanding and left the package inside the apartment building without a signature. But then if I wanted to return it, I would have had to go out of my way to make that happen. So again, KEH does everything in their power to make thing inconvenient for their customers, and I just decided to keep the camera. To me, it seems like KEH are frauds and liars. Hopefully my camera holds up, but I don't really have confidence in that considering my experience over the phone.
Additionally, my camera was supposed to come with a shoe, and it absolutely did not. I know it's pointless to call because you all are liars who don't do what you claim you're going to do. Now I have to find a shoe online, even though I paid for a camera to have one. Just avoid these fraudsters and go with B&H or Adorama.
I've been shopping with KEH since 1985. Always great service, great products, great prices. What more could you ask for?
A solid experience, the price seemed fair, and everything was straightforward. My first time buying from keh.com but I would do it again.
One suggestion for improvement though would be to use photos of the actual items instead of stock photos. If not for everything then at least for the more expensive items.
