I took out a 10,000 loan from Kabbage for my business. Each month I paid on time and in 4 cases I paid it back before the due date. At the end of the program it said I was not eligible for a new loan because and I quote, I did not link to enough of there other program accounts? Really? I am a good customer and pay without missing a payment and that's what matters... linking to your other stuff? Bad Program!
We needed financing and signed up with Kabbage. If I did minimum draws of $5,000 or more, we were promised 12 month financing after the initial draw. A few months later and once we were well into using our line, they changed the amortization schedule to 6 months for draws less than $15,000. My line is $25,000 with monthly payments of $5,500/month. Makes it very difficult to pa back...

Finally, someone has taken the time to understand my business to help me think through my finances and loan strategy. I mean REALLY THINK THROUGH! First off, he is personable, has a sense of humor and my conversation with him flowed smoothly. I never had to repeat myself for him to get what I was talking about. He helped me, by asking some very good questions, to think through the pros and cons of my plan and evaluate my risk. He listened, gave suggestions, provided insight. I never felt rushed or pushed. I contacted them about a loan for our business. Explained that we are moving our offshore business onshore, etc. Got my approval in 1 day, WOW this is great... but noooo.
They sent the verification, funds will be there in 1 to 3 days, great news. Then the next day they get back and say "We cancelled your loan." Why? Because you have not been in business in the US for a year.
Okay... but I told you that. Then Carlos my customer rep called and gave some lame excuse about the loans are approved by a machine and then a real person looks at it, and when that happened they canceled it as they realized the mistake.
Don't you think they should have done that first? Then he says "Contact us in a year and try again." I'm all over that. To Carlos' credit he finally admitted that they screwed up, as I kept saying that they had made a mistake.

I have never had a bank/loan institution even pretend to care about what my needs are. This company is a complete exception to the rule that lenders have to be non-personal robots. I spoke with a real rep this morning (I could actually understand him, because he spoke perfect english), who listened to my dilemma and fixed the situation in 2 minutes. And THEN I got an email from another real person asking how my experience was, and that I could contact him directly if I needed anything. WHAT? I am seriously impressed by this company.
The loan process was fast and totally straight forward. I'm really satisfied I received from this company. Specially appreciate the help from my agent Greg. He was NOT about the fast talk, he made sure I knew what I was doing and answered all my questions. This man basically holds your hand through the process and doesn't let go until you get what you need. Thanks Kabbage and Greg for making my Monday Great.
I shopped around for the best loan and was approved for 5 loans total. Greg who was in charge of my account was super professional and helpful. He gave me all the information I needed and allowed me to do my due diligence, followed up like a pro and as a result earned my business. I would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking to get a loan.
Kabbage did a great job of getting our line of credit approved quickly and easily, and my account manager, Greg Bianchini, walked me through and kept in touch every step of the way to make sure I understood exactly what we were getting, all of our options, and that we got our money when we needed it. Also, their website is excellent - very easy to use, no wasted time, easy to understand and self-serve information. I can't recommend Greg or Kabbage highly enough.
