The K9 Training Institute is a social impact organization that was formed to improve the relationship that dog owners around the world have with their pets.
We teach a large number of dog owners every year on the very best ways to train their dogs based on our own research on animal behavior.
We are especially passionate about training rescued dogs and giving them a second chance at finding a loving and caring family.
The company has garnered a positive reputation for its effective dog training techniques, with many customers noting significant improvements in their pets' behavior through the provided resources. The training methods, emphasizing operant conditioning and practical strategies, resonate well with users, fostering a sense of joy in the training process. However, a recurring concern is the affordability of the programs, as several customers express difficulty in accessing paid resources due to financial constraints. Overall, the company is viewed favorably for its informative content and supportive approach, yet it may benefit from exploring more accessible pricing options to enhance customer satisfaction.

At the moment, my new puppy arrives mid September. I am 68, I need an animal that responds when I need it to. Your free workshop shows positive results and easy to understand.
I want to get off on the right foot training my puppy. I find the methods being used to redirect incorrect behavior is a much better way of training. Using body language to communicate is much better than clickers or verbal commands. I would like the program better if it started with puppies and then progressed. I have shared this link with my granddaughter who has a dog that is aggressive at 14 months. Australian Shepard… and with a friend who has never had a dog. I don't understand how your program works if you have a puppy and you train with a blank slate so to speak.
I actually found the free training really helpful and logical. I was so grateful that it wasn't a total bait and switch. Many times you click on an offer but it's really just a sales pitch. Of course there is a pitch at the end of this which is understandable as you have a service to provide/sell, but I appreciate that I feel like I really did get something of value for free at first. Thank you.
Based on the free video it gave me some great ideas on how to train my dog. In all the classes one thing I was hoping for was not there. My dog doesn't like our neighbour's dog and hors nuts when he's outside. Barking jumping up the fence. Was looking for that.
All of the examples that have been given in the workshop have been explained in detail and are easy for both Quency and I to understand. Quincy is a 9 week Australian Shepherd and this is a Great learning tool for both my dog and i
The course gave me an insight to the science behind dog training. I found this really useful for me to be able to go forward. I have applied a few of the techniques shown in the video and they do really works. In a matter of hours I really noticed a difference, not only in the dogs behaviour but also behaviour to dog training. Thank you
The workshop was very easy to understand and insightful. The techniques taught are 100% cruelty free and unique from other trainers. The trainer/ coaches are very personable and caring. I even recieved a personal phone call from Jeff about my personal situation. Though my situation is a massive challenge in which rehoming of course a last resort was discussed. While it is extremely difficult to hear, I know he heard all aspects and it was out kindness for both family and fur babies. Do not the previous statement discourage you to reach out there is a plethora they can help with, mine is just uniquely complicated as such is my luck
Training your dog in a way that the dogs mind is reached, dogs brains and there reality are not like our human experience.
It had been fabulous, wished I had this knowledge for our last day
I am enjoying the workshop and emails I am thinking about signing for the masterclass question - my buddy is a real nipper a bitey mouthy dog with lots of toys and chews but cuddle time always becomes bite and "talk back" time which gets him put outside is this addressed in the masterclass?
My son desperately needs help with his dog. He is a newlywed and the dog has gone a little crazy moving to a new home setting. Maybe this will help.
I work with children with special needs and have experience with operant conditioning and positive behavior management. I loved these dog training tips! I also love the reminder that dogs have no idea what the word no means! We tend to be reactive and say no stop a lot and they don't respond in turn everyone is frustrated! I have just adopted a rescue dog with some bad habits and no boundaries at all. She responds well to these tips and I use them daily! I love the "give her a job" tip. When I want to say stop or no I give her an alternative, a job and this has worked wonders in building a relationship with her and providing boundaries! Thank you so much
Everything I am reading online makes so much sense and I am keen to learn more. Ruby is such a sweet girl and so loving however when we go outside her barking at anyone passing my place gives the impression she is vicious and that couldnt be further from the truth. I am afraid there is no way I can afford what you are asking for training. I am a disabled pensioner and just survive with making sure I have a little in the bank in case of emergency with Rubys health.
I love it very much the are very good people to training my puppy
I learned a lot from the workshop. Simple to understand and easy to follow. Enjoyed having videos as well as written content
Obviously, free workshops are designed to promote future sales and customer acquisition. Most don't offer anything except the carrot at the end of the stick. This one gives you enough nibbles to know whether you want to eat the whole bag! Well done!
Well my dog is learning very good. He seams to be learning my body language when I try to teach him
I love the way this course uses behavioural psychology. It's logical, makes sense and it works.
