The K9 Training Institute is a social impact organization that was formed to improve the relationship that dog owners around the world have with their pets.
We teach a large number of dog owners every year on the very best ways to train their dogs based on our own research on animal behavior.
We are especially passionate about training rescued dogs and giving them a second chance at finding a loving and caring family.
The company has garnered a positive reputation for its effective dog training techniques, with many customers noting significant improvements in their pets' behavior through the provided resources. The training methods, emphasizing operant conditioning and practical strategies, resonate well with users, fostering a sense of joy in the training process. However, a recurring concern is the affordability of the programs, as several customers express difficulty in accessing paid resources due to financial constraints. Overall, the company is viewed favorably for its informative content and supportive approach, yet it may benefit from exploring more accessible pricing options to enhance customer satisfaction.

We found the free intro module very intriguing. The methodology sounds logical, practical and we loved learning about the underlying principles based on dog psychology. Understanding the way our dog thinks will help us to communicate and interact on a whole new level.
I found that at 80 years of age and a history of many dogs, including fostering, I am using many of the techniques and know they work. I just wish I saw this when I was a teenager. I, and my best friend, get so much joy out of work she willingly performs. Such as: getting the paper, my shoes or socks, putting away her toys and our shoes left at the door so I can vacuum, getting her food dish for meals, playing hid and seek, putting on her harness to ride in the car and anything I can think of to do over and over. Regardless, there are many new things we both want to accomplish after watching your video. Thank you.
The video of how to give your dog a job instead of being out control and continuously barking was well done. I have used the what I learned to better my dogs behavior. I would have liked it to explain more on how going to his bed was a job. The video however was very helpful.
The k9 training video was amazing. It was full of tips and easy fixes, especially for the mistakes I was making. For all the years I have struggled to break my dogs bad or uncontrollable habits, this short video has enlightened me. No more frustration after I realized my errors, I adjusted my ways and we are all so pleased with the results. I feel closer to my dogs and we seem to communicate with each other better. I can not believe that after years of excessive barking as guest arrive or deliveries are made, I have dogs that behave so well. You really can teach old dogs new tricks.
The advice on getting her not to jump worked amazing! It only took a couple of tries!
I have just started trying some of the tips, but the information given in the free online class was different from any other dog training advice i have ever gotten.
The jumping video. That I been doing with my 9 week old pup and he has picked it up so fast. He hardly ever jumps up on anyone anymore. When you walk he will sit and wait for you to pet him.
I am a veterinarian, but my knowledge in this section is a little. So, it is an amazing information.
The tips showed in the free training video look very promising. I would've liked to take advantage of the transformation training class but I've got vacation and a kids wedding fast approaching.
The online training video presented clues to the future master classes … & it's probably a really helpful class for a reasonable price- Just not sure Id be consistent in training without a physical class
As a former dog trainer many moons ago. I found some new tricks of the trade with the e mails I've been sent. Training has evolved over the so it's refreshing to see the newer methods. Thanks for the new insights
The advices given in the free dog training workshop are very helpful. I have tried some of them and I am already observing some results. I am definitely looking forward to have the best possible connection with my girl and I think that K9 Training Institute can help me achieve my goal.
It's hard housebreaking an adult dog, fortunately for me I have K9 training tips and Ranger is obeying a couple of commands. I have also learnt to be patient and am clear on what errors to avoid regarding training Ranger
K9 offered some great tips that clued us into speaking dog. Such a great concept in training a dog to respond in their language. We are preparing to have a great experience with our puppy right from the start. Excited about experiencing the entire course.
Sneaker, a Border collie pup, was VERY rambunctious to say the least. With the training tips he is now calmer. Also the tips for using hand signals works very well. In just a few days he has learned to stay. Before, he would sit or lay down on command but didn't seem to understand "stay". Thank you!
Great detail in the dog trainingEnd it was very easy to understand thank you for your help I highly recommend you to watch this video
Clear information. Well explained. A program that doesn't seem too complicated to follow.
I wish I'd read this earlier it would have stopped all my mistakes.
We have a 6 month old LH mini dachshund. We had started him on obedience training with voice commands but after watching the free demo of the K9i we have successfully moved to hand signals. K9i training is concise and easy to follow. We would love to purchase the Masterclass but living in South Africa it's just too expensive for us. We wish you every success in helping us understand more about the psychology of our precious pets and training them to be the best they can be.
